I went and bought some dance slippers for my daughter and the lady was very nice and helpful.

I was searching for Latin ballroom dancing shoes and the pickings are slim in the area. Found the suggestion on Facebook and decided to visit the store.The owner is a piece of pie, sweet as ever. She made me feel comfortable and suggested shoes that complimented my skin tone and narrow foot.She had plenty of dance inventory from shoes to leotards to tutus and ballet skirts. She did not mind showing me my curiosities and was very patient. Just a doll of a lady. I enjoyed talking to her.My only negative feed back is the political masks endorsing a certain candidate for sale. It alienates those with different political views.Side Note: there are limited hours and a couple of days where appointments are required because of Covid-19

What a wonderful experience! The ladies could not have been any more kind or helpful while fitting my daughter for her first pair of pointe shoes!

The women who run this store will lie to you to make a sale. I bought 6 pairs of shoes from here for a group and when getting help to choose the right pairs of outdoor friendly shoes, one of the store owners handed me a pair and said “these can be used outdoors.” Now it’s 3 weeks later and the shoes are destroyed; just wasted money. I took them back to the store and the same woman told me “I never would have told you they could be used outdoors. I know my product.” But I never would have bought the shoes in the first place if she had told me that? It’s unbelievable. Don’t waste your money here.

The owner of the stor was extremely nice instantly clicked with my mom because they are from the same part of New York. She was extremely helpful when I was trying to get fitted for pointe shoes and toe pads. The price is astonishing. I love this place and will continue going. It is small but everything a dance could need they have it!

Im from HMMS, in dance class and i wanted to know how much is the leotard (I dont know the how to spell it)

Not sure if it’s normal there but the customer service I received was pretty curt and rude. I was also fitted for pointe shoes and they were fit way too long and not even the right type of shoe for my feet! After talking with several of my classmates I discovered she fits everyone in the same exact shoe and suggests the thickest pads imaginable so you don’t even notice how badly they fit. None of us are using them for pointe fittings anymore. And personally I am not going back ever again as she would not listen to my needs and pushed me to buy these awful shoes. They do have some nice leotards and stuff but it’s pricey.

The saleslady (the owner, maybe?) was extremely cold and unfriendly to us- my 80-year-old mom, my toddler daughter, my son, my childrens nanny, and me. Did she think we were going to shoplift??? She kept glaring at us suspiciously (perhaps she is not used to seeing Asians). Truthfully, I had money to spend, and would have liked to browse and shop. Instead, I only purchased 1 pair of tap shoes, and hurried out of there. I took my business elsewhere to buy the rest of the dance wear that we needed.

While they have a great selection of leotards, tights, etc. they push a certain brand of pointe shoes and also sized me wrong. I was $90-$100 down the drain which is fine but also stuck with the wrong sized pointe shoes for a year and a half.
