Always a good deal at TRU. Price match, Coupons. Promotions. Its heartbreaking to see the sad faces on the children who no longer have a niche store. Anyone who complained they were overpriced did not know how to work deals when they had them. Its just unfortunate wall street investors wanted to burn the company and they got their wish

This store is closing for good this week. I visited a few weeks ago and not much was left. What was available was heavily discounted. All of the displays/racks were up for sale too, so if you are looking for storage items now is a good time to visit this place.

Im giving this one star because I am so sad that a store I grew up begging to visit and marvel at as a kid is closing its doors for good. So sad my kids will not grow up knowing the excitement it brings rolling up into the parking lot and seeing that multi colored lit sign and knowing that...today is the day that were getting a cool toy. Thanks for all the memories Toys R Us. Youll be missed. Say hi to Blockbuster up there in that big dead retail store afterlife.

Toys R Us is an amazing store I cant believe that they are shutting down that is a total bummer my child loves it going to Toys R Us all of the newest greatest toys and now that they are closing down we dont even know where to select a new toy store we dont even know why Toys R Us is closing but it is a horrible idea I hope it is just a tactic to make more sales. My son has a toy review YouTube page and closing Toys R Us will just interrupt his show because we really like them and we would really like them to stay open all the people there are friendly and they can help you find anything and theyre very knowledgeable about their products

Being that it is the only Toys R Us around its unfortunate that it is so run down and poorly staffed. The staff is almost always very helpful when you do find them. We have two kids and there are times when the things we are looking for are only found here. There are times when you cant seem to find anyone to help or they dont work in that department. My kids love the place and it is easy to find good toys for them. The selection is pretty good and relatively easy to navigate. The best experience I have had was with the pick up guys in the back. They are always polite courteous and accommodating. I have been sent on several pick ups by my wife who seems to always underestimate the size of the package I am picking up. The guys have never given me a hard time. They always figure it out and secure it so there wont be any issues.

I chose to shop on Black Friday at your store. I went in for a specific item. During my visit I can say that the location I chose to shop at was very well staffed, very organized and fully stocked. As I was looking for the item I came for I was having difficulty finding it and when I looked around for someone to assist me I was able to find someone immediately. I bought a Basketball Hoop for my daughter and the gentleman that helped me had them take it out back while I continued to shop. As I approached the checkout I saw the same gentlemen and he checked to make sure I had found everything I needed. Once I paid for my merchandise I then drove around back where I was greeted by another gentleman who informed me that the box had been ripped open. At that point he then reached out to another location looking for the item I had paid for and during this phone call he was put on hold for a lengthy period of time. During his time on hold he made conversation about what other items my daughter had requested and when I told him about one gift I was struggling to find he then went online while still holding on the phone and started helping me look for this gift. In the end I was able to buy everything my daughter had requested for christmas (three gifts). I was amazed at how helpful and efficient this store was during such a crazy day to shop. I cant say enough good things about this location. Thank you kindly!

Always liked this location but now it is going out of business. They always had anything we were looking for and the staff people were always fabulous. My kids liked coming here to pick toys and games and the store was always neat, not like some other locations where things would be scattered all over the place all the time.

This is a big toy store with lots of choices. Its a kids dream. The different departments make it easy to shop for exactly what your child needs. I did drop one star because it was difficult to find someone to help me, however when I found that person they were more than willing to spend time with me until I found what I needed. Overall a good experience.

Received personalized assistance today from an employee on the sales floor AND a price match from the store at check out for identical item obtainable in town from a competitor. Got the last one of the exact doll wanted by our granddaughter. Glad we stopped there first. Thanks, Toys R Us! Well be back!

I Still Love Toy Stores As A 41 Year Old Man!!! This Store Is Always Clean From The Floors To Where Ever The Customers Eyes Can See... Shelves Are Always Stocked And Walkways Free Of Clutter... I Miss Being Able To Play With More Toys Before Buying Like Back When I Was Growing Up But Times Have Changed...Friendly Staff and A Happy Place Makes It Comfortable To Come And Enjoy The Benefits Of Having A Retail Place And Not Just OnLine Ordering

Went to shop for a boys bicycle and while they have a good selection, there was no salesperson around to assist. I also looked for accessories such as helmets and training wheels; they had helmets - more girls than boys - but no training wheels that I could find. The store was clean, the appearance was good, but personnel could not be found.

The store was organized and we were able to find everything we needed, but the clothing looked like it had been dragged on a dirty floor. There were only a few pieces of preemie clothing to choose from and only 3 of those were clean. The cashier was very knowledgeable and nice. The prices for baby items are reasonable, so I will be back...just not for clothes!

Very nice store. staff is always friendly and helpful as well. Sad that Toys R Us is closing down all their stores. I have many many memories here. Shop there while you can, you wont regret it!

Some of the staff here I had a bad attitude. Others were helpful. Be careful to price check before you go to the registers. Different registers are ringing different prices and if you dont pay attention you will pay more. I spoke to a manager because imagine how many people have been cheated into paying more due to machine errors. The lady was bothered because I showed her how same toys ran up different prices in different registers. Now I can understand why they are going bankrupt. For cheering people. And now get as much money as you can while going down and out of business. Pay close attention to the prices.

I was very happy they got the Lol Big Surprise in before Christmas but they jacked the price up $10 and made me purchase right then and there. I get that they were in high demand but considering there were like three people in the store I didnt appreciate the extra security. Oh well my daughter was so excited to lose all those tiny parts.

Its a shame to see a once wonderful store that has brought great memories to countless children, but the time has come and with one visit to this store, it is clearly time. Items marked 30% off are still about 15% overpriced. Staff is still unhelpful as they were in the normal business days. And as always, the restrooms are an absolute abomination. No towels or anything of the sort you would expect to have in a restroom that a toddler would frequent. FILTHY

So sad to see you go. I pray the employees are well taken care of and find new places to go. I closed a major chain store down and its a hard and sad thing to do. Best of luck to you all and I will always be a toys r us kid no matter how old I get.

Wide selection of toys, & they were neatly displayed even though the store was very busy. My only problem was the toy I purchased displayed a lower price on the sign than the price that rung up at the register. The sale was corrected.

I found this Toys R Us most helpful!!!! I was able to pick what I wanted for my granddaughters and the scanned them and are being sent to two different states from the warehouse. I did not know I could do this. Set my mind at ease!

I am thankful and Toys R Us just gained a loyal customer! The manager Chris ran a smooth show, came out and spoke to us and has all 5 styles and then he and his staff spoke to us one by one to choose the style we wanted.Then we were give paper and 15 in at a time . Went to counter and given one per person! They still had tickets for early till 8 am then you can buy another. Very fair, professional and great over all experience! I even was allowed to blow my whistle!! Thank you to my friends who searched Kay Nassiff, Donna Colon Berthel, Jerry Enkidu Sanchez, Pamela Brantley for helping me search!!! I am home and l may not be their all the time but my granddaughters mean the world to us!! Thank you my angel watching over your crazy mom!!

Purchased a bounce house and they price matched with online price. Had some computer issues but was handled by Manager Angel. Front staff was great but the floor staff I encountered not so much.

Fairly large store. Kind of hard to navigate, not a lot of employees. Often times toys on the floor. May be the time of day I go there, but its just not the best Toys R Us Ive been to.

Along with being every kids dream store, myself, as a parent, highly recommends this *TOYS-R-US* in-particular because not only do they have a well productive staff but also can maintain the store in a well manner and assist with any and all needs until youre satisfied and ready for check-out.

Going to miss it. We live in North Port and would drive down to Ft Myers just for Toys R Us. I know many are trying to save it. I pray they can.

In absolutely has everything that you can possibly think of in this location including a Clairs and American Girl Doll. If you find what you want and cant afford to get it right now then they have a awesome layaway plan. Only 10% down and you have a 3 whole months to pay off!! Also you can put clearance and sale items on layway......Christmas is done!!!

Stores huge, plenty to choose from for your nephews and nieces, staff is very friendly and extremely helpful, havent had a bad experience yet. The stores easy to find and is in a good Plaza and the stores clean as always.

Sad to see this place go really alotta cute baby clothes and the toys are fun even for some adults if your into playing with toys still or just to give your kid a great gift some are a bit pricey but to me nothing is pricey when it comes to seeing a smile on my sons face thats worth it to me staff always their and nearby to help with a smile on their face.

I called down there at the store in Pagefield Commons Shopping Center here in Ft. Myers Florida The Day Before yesterday and asked if they had any Owlycorn Hatch Em Alls in stock. The Lady said, No. Then I asked if I Could Order One. She said, Not by phone but if you come in to the Store You Can Order One. I Went To The Store Today and The Girl That Served Me Said, There is None in the Warehouse and I Dont See Any On Line, So You CANT Oder One. I Said I Live in North Fort Myers Out Near I-75, thats about 9 Miles. She said, Im Sorry. I asked, Can I Pay for one and you put one on hold for me when they come in, She said, No, You Will Have To Call Back Every Day Till We Get Some In The Warehouse and Ask Them To Put One On Hold For You.That Being the Case, they Should Have Told Me I Might Be Wasting My Time If I Do Come In To Order One, But They Didnt. I Feel Like I Have Had A Number 10 Boot Shoved Up My Butt and The Door Hitting Me In The Butt On The Way Out! I Feel Insulted And Frustrated To The MAX! Its Not Any Fun Driving In Congested Traffic For 9 Miles And Signal Lights ALL The Way, Especially After Being Told I Could Come To The Store And Order One!On The Stores Part, Thats Not Good Patronage!
