Obviously not that committed to cleaning. One bathroom sink doesn’t work at all and has dried up urine on the floor. Went in the ladies bathroom and the sink worked but had no soap. This is at 8 in the morning so you were not open long enough to have urine dried up on the floor. I’ve been going to this place for years and loved it but don’t see much pride of ownership dirty tables all the time all the decorations that were throughout the store don’t get replaced. No booster chairs or high chairs for kids which kind of floors me since kids obviously love doughnuts! Love the doughnuts but this location could use some love from ownership or management.

It was our first time at Ducks Donuts (Fort Myers location off Independence Drive)...which was highly recommended by a friend. Ducks is not the traditional donut shop where they have donuts displayed and ready for purchase. One has to order donut with/without glaze/covering, toppings, and any other extras. Donuts are vanilla cake donuts and are made to order and served warm.The donuts were delicious, coffee was okay, and shop was clean. However, we had some issues with the employees at the shop. One employee came in to start her shift and commenced to speak very loudly in an already small area. She joked with customers and seemed friendly enough, but it was hard to enjoy our experience with her loudness.The same employee also made a joke about the establishment having only one toaster to make breakfast sandwiches and wished customers ordered breakfast sandwiches on donuts instead of bagels or English muffins. We let her joke slide the first time, but took umbrage when she voiced it again...loudly. it made us wonder if she really got upset when customers ordered certain things off the menu because it was an inconvenience.Another employee who prepared the donuts also had to call out customers names or order number but one could barely hear her. It was very frustrating to have to ask her to repeat what she said, only to have her repeat it in a lower voice. We felt bad for her, but felt the establishment should have provided a microphone for the quiet employee or have the loud employee handle calling out the orders.It seems like we are nit-picking over our one (and probably only) dine in experience, but the employees honestly made our experience unpleasant. As there are other donut establishments close by, we will probably forgo Ducks Donuts in the future.

I stopped in at Dunkin’ Donuts this morning to buy my team my favorite donuts! I was helped by this wonderful woman by the name of Carol, she double and triple check to make sure my donuts were correct, I very much appreciate that considering how much things are wrong when you get delivered or you go through a drive-through. She was super sweet upbeat, and professional! I wish everybody would pay attention to detail the way she did. Also all of the other girls that were in the store this morning we’re great everything was running like a well oiled machine. Definitely recommend duck donuts delicious delicious delicious!!! Thank you for everything duck donuts and Carol I will definitely be back! My visit was at the Daniels Parkway duck donuts!

My family loves this place! Fresh cake donuts made when you order. Crispy outside, light n fluffy inside. Not greasy. Their selection of creative donuts is HUGE because nothing is premade. Go. There. Now!

Made the drive from Clearwater to fort Myers today and duck donuts was on the to do list. So yummy. Service was a bit slow and presentation a bit sloppy but still delicious. Will be back in the future

Have had the owner/lead manager yell from the back room after waiting for 5 minutes that the wait time would be 30-45 minutes. Not just once, but 3 times, for donuts (I am aware that it is not a traditional bakery, I have seen the production procedure as it is openly visible to all customers).Get your business model sorted out guys. Or consider having a set assorted variety that are available quickly (not made-to-order) to help you out in a pinch. Your donuts are delicious up to a day after being made, I’ve had them; I like them. But with consistent poor service I cannot in good conscience give more than 2-stars.

Oh my goodness. I’ve only tried the pink donut with coconut so far, and it was amazing. I love strawberry frosted donuts so I got excited over this one. The Oreo one is mine also, and the s’mores and cinnamon sugar ones are my boyfriend’s donuts! I got the pumpkin spice iced coffee and it was literally better than Starbucks, not going to lie. Emily was super sweet and personable as well❤️ great experience and can’t wait to go back.

Just stood in line waiting with two people working behind the counter prepping donuts, didnt acknowledge us, didnt welcome us and didnt say they’ll be with us in a moment, just stood there like we’re nothing. If this is where our country is headed now with customer service “God Help Us”, sorry Duck Donuts we’ll just go to Publix next door, which we did happily.

I have always wanted to try this place; however the customer service is lacking hard core. When walking in they didn’t even regard you. The shift leader took awhile to even acknowledge us and didn’t seem to care it was our first time. Employee’s weren’t wearing masks and the women making the donuts was in a hurry, and only wearing one glove. Not really worth going out of your way for, after reading all the comments it seems like they make enough to not really care if customer service is on parEdit **. Yesterday afternoon at 3.Masks aren’t required in Florida yes; however I would expect gloves.

Wanted to place an order on Uber eats to have an order of 3 dozen donuts delivered to my friends job for her birthday. Called the store so they could write on the box for me as I’m in a different city. All I wanted was for them to write happy birthday from me on the box and was told no they were too busy to do that and was hung up on! I understand being busy but I wasn’t asking for anything crazy extra to be done for me. I ended up placing my 3 dozen donut order with Krispy Kreme who was more than happy to help me with my simple request. As someone who works hospitality. No matter how busy you get customer service should be your priority.

Loves this place! This is NOT a donut shop like a Krispy Kream or Dunkin. This is a culinary masterpiece! I walked in to discover what donuts should be like. Fresh and made right in front of me. Then the choices? They even make donuts with bacon! Again NOT a donut! Its like donuts and an ice cream parlor morph! I ordered the apple strudel and Wow! This is a MUST!!!!!

Went to Duck Donuts today. The cashier should have been as interested in servicing the line as she was moving her tip jar when customers paid and counting the bills in her tip jar as we all wait as if to say dont forget my tip. The tables all needed to be cleaned so that customers did not need to do so themselves before sitting down, etc.. Fantastic product, great location, and if the store is not extremely profitable, it will be only a result of not having the right staff.

I truly love you guys and your establishment! Regardless of some reviews I mean we don’t get donuts in a retirement home ! I love the fact that you guys use old fashioned donuts some can’t appreciate that! I hope to see you guys do great with those doughnuts!

First time going to this place and i was excited to try it. Did an online order and got to the duck donuts on Daniels, employee said it would be a 5 min wait for our online order which we were ok with (also there was online 1 employee working) so i waited the 5 mins and went back in and there were 2 Karen’s that decided they were more important and got their order before mine. I had to wait an extra 25 mins for my order and i didn’t even get my latte. Also not employees fault but employee should have gone in order of the orders received first. Probably not coming back here.

Well the first time I went here was very good I had great customer service the guy that was working that night was awesome paid great detail to his work however the last two times Ive gone in such as today I stood at the counter for 7 minutes and nobody even acknowledge that I was standing there. Upon a second visit, I was able to get my doughnut ordered without issue. The man at the counter was very friendly. Theres a slight wait because the doughnuts are made to order. But my blueberry pancake and oreo styled doughnuts were well worth the wait. Was excited to bring my out of town family (13 people total) to this donut shop and immediately regretted the decision as we were greeted. As we walked in the door, we were told the wait time (25-30 minutes) which was fine and worth the wait. As we begin to order, one of the staff members told the cashier to “not accept large orders of more than 2 dozen donuts again because it’s not fair to customers who only order 2 donuts and have to wait behind large orders.” We should have just walked out the door after that comment but wanted our guests to try the donuts. As I mentioned, we came in a large group so we pushed two tables together to sit together. As we were leaving the restaurant, we forgot to separate the tables and the staff member spoke loudly for us to hear and said “Oh don’t worry, I’ll move the tables back even though you weren’t suppose to move them in the first place, (TWICE). So my brothers went back in and separated the tables for them. We will never return to this location. We treated the staff with respect and spent a decent amount of money on donuts today to be treated poorly because the number of people in our group.I was there on July 4th, around 9:30-10am

Apon walking in the place is very clean and smells amazing 1 star. The menus are clear and to the point another star. Prices look very reasonable for the quality of the look 3rd star. We came into the store with 2 coupons from a previous visit that apparently apparently didnt go so well. One was for a free half dozen and the other was for buy 4 get 2 free. We were told we couldnt use both for whatever reason even though the previous visit the wife was told to come back with the coupons visit didnt go that well loss of 2 stars. We have cheer competitions and we wanted to use you guys for a 150+ donut order. After this visit the wife decides she will use somewhere else to place the order and Im just here like damn I didnt get no donuts

4 stars because the donuts were amazing. The only reason I am not giving 5 is because the female working seemed annoyed at the fact that my boyfriend and I (first time here for both of us) ordered a dozen donuts yesterday, each a different flavor. I overheard her talking to one of the other employees about her annoyance while specifically pointing at us, which made both us of uncomfortable. I understand how that might be overwhelming, as each are hand made, HOWEVER, that is the business model and the service offered to consumers. Also, we were the only customers so its not like she was busy. If you as an employee feel inconvenienced to provide the exact service advertised by your place of employment, you should not be working there. But who knows, maybe she was having a bad day or something.

What happen Duck Donuts?! Where’s management at? Go in there in the morning and the two young girls there don’t know how to do a an ice latte. They look around saying sorry we don’t have the products to make that.. hmm ok no problem just give me my donuts then. It’s sad to know that this is the only Duck Donuts around and it’s the worst one. Please owners get some management. This is the third time I go and the experience there is pathetic.

Passed this several times while going to Publix. I stopped in today and I’m so glad I did. The young man at the counter was FANTASTIC. I didn’t know anything about Duck’s and asked where the donuts were. He explained made fresh to order. We are them for dessert after dinner and they were the best cake donuts. Many options and so fresh.

Clean and well organized business. I tried two donuts that were fresh and tasty. The texture was perfect with the flavors added. I actually had a breakfast sandwich too. It was made fresh to order. It was pretty awesome too. I thought it would be sweet but it complimented the bacon and egg.

I am a driver with bitesquad and I have NEVER. Had to wait this long for an order. AN HOUR AND A HALF ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! The manager there is terrible, she talks about how she wants to get people through as fast as possible but doesn’t do anything herself. Her employees are doing an outstanding job busting their behind while the manager is talking away. They only had 1 person working the toppings. And when I finally decided to say something the manager asks what my order is and she moves it to the back of the line BECAUSE I COMPLAINED ABOUT WAITING FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF. She then told me to send another driver and I will not be getting my order. This costed me about 30 dollars and 2 hours of my time simply because of this manager. She does not deserve to have that job if she can not do her basic tasks.

For my first vist to Duck Donuts it was a horrible experience! This location is understaffed and inefficient. When walking in your ignored and the staff doesnt speak to you they continue duties as if you are not standing there. The lady in mgt position needs to take trainings on customer service! She was rude and condescending! I ordered donuts online at 7:45 and waited in the store for over an hour and my order still wasnt ready walked out of there after listening to how she spoke with other customers and lost out on $20. Customers walking in were told that they would have to wait 45 minutes to an hour to even be helped. I will just continue to use Dunkin Donuts after this experience

Delicious as always. I frequently get a egg, cheese, bacon sandwich on a donut with a large hot chocolate (no matter the temperature outside. I had been buying pb and j donut (I love it). It was suggest I try the cheesecakes (pic keylime and cherry cheesecake). I love the customer service, wish there were more locations and more people would try it.

I was getting ready to move out of state. But then I passed by this place and heard great things about it. So I thought maple bacon doughnuts so I order half a dozen of doughnuts and then some, including the maple bacon; then I saw the breakfast sandwich which could be made with doughnut as the breading. It had finesse sooo good I did not have time take a picture. It looked as good as it tasted. In this moment, I decided, if I move out of Florida, I will be missing this God send breakfast, for a long time. I now have a reason to stay in Florida.

A co-worker brought these donuts in today at 8 am. The donuts were still warm. I attempted to eat one. It tasted like saturated oil it has not been changed in the fryer. The donuts look dark brown & oily. Nothing like the pictures on the website. I personally would not recommend them at all.

The staff was friendly during our visit and we enjoyed our treat. The kiddos loved being able to watch the process of the donut from start to finish. I had the delightful one topped with bacon and you can custom your order as you like. They have a big variety of toppings. We are looking forward to our next visit.

I love the uniqueness of Duck Donuts and I think it’s really great we have such a donut shop in SWFL. However, I recently experienced negative customer service by the store manager Gary. I had a reward for a free donut on the app and was confused on how to add it to my order, so I decided I was going to go in and they could look up my account. I was in line when the manager, Gary was very personable with the customer in front of me. It’s now my turn and Gary, the store manger just looks at me and doesn’t greet me. So I greet him and he responds “yeah”, with eyes wide open. Just by his demeanor and response I knew he didn’t want to talk to me. I proceed to tell him how I have a reward for a free donut and could you look up my account and add to my order. He was very dumbfounded I was asking such a question. I know most restaurants and retail stores have the app linked to their computer software and he would be able to look up my account. Duck Donuts doesn’t do that and Gary took a long time to register what I was saying. As a store manager, I would think your duty is to know and understand how your app works and what customers are talking about when we mention the app. I finally give up, and place an order. I waited for about a minute and I wasn’t in a rush. He then gave me my donut and said “you seem like your in a rush”. I was confused and said “yes I’m in a rush” and he responds “I’m so sorry about that”. Believe me, in no way was I in a rush, I was more so upset that I was treated so poorly compare to the customer in front of me, but I masked that emotion. Was it because I was a person of color Gary? I’m pretty certain he said I looked like I was in a rush to make up for that fact that he knew he was in the wrong with his poor customer service. If I had truly registered what he said and why he said it I would have responded proud and clear “No Gary I’m not in a rush. I’m just astonished as to why I was given such poor customer service by a store manger”.

The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the overall environment was very cute and inviting! Oh and the donuts? SLAP, I haven’t had donuts this good in a while. My only complaint is that there isn’t another location closer, Cape Coral would definitely benefit from having a Duck Donuts in town.
