Nice reception as we came into Ashley furniture store thinking wed use our 10% coupon for that store. The salesman was very nice and told us what we wanted might be available in City Furniture. So we went through the store that was connected to Ashley Furniture, which is City Furniture. So we found the sofa sleeper we wanted and made the purchase without the 10% off. But did get about half of what the discount would have meant. So now we are set to receive and have the furniture set in our home. Hopefully it will all work out in getting the furniture in and ready to use.

Kali was amazing at helping us find the perfect bedroom set. I am not at all means an easy shopper to deal with and Im very particular at what I want and Kali did everything in her ability to impress me with her knowledge about her products, when the delivery options were scheduled for and what style we would appeal to. I would give 10 stars if they would let me! Highly recommend City Furniture Fort Myers! Kali you were awesome!

Who said there was No Pressure to buy here? I walked into the store and was immediately accosted by a female employee. I explained that I was only interested in looking around and she said, you cant, I have to go with you. I mean, seriously? I told her that I was just moving into town and my house was not done yet. I did not know for sure what the color scheme was in my house, so I just wanted to look around. She again told me they want me to go with you, you cant just look around.I did tell her that I was interested in a mattress, so she took me to the mattress area. There a young man showed me the absolute most expensive mattress in the store. I had already told him I was not interested in a foam bed, but these kids dont listen. I sat on the bed and was told you cant judge a bed by sitting on it. Well, I can tell and I did not like the mattress. I told him EXACTLY the brand and model of mattress I wanted and after showing me several mattresses, said they did not sell the brand I wanted.I HAD planned on investing $10,000-$12,000 dollars on a mattress, sofa, chair, dining table and other items, but I will spend it somewhere else. There is absolutely NO REASON I should be told that I CANT look around the store. Done.

The order has been hit! The technician came, he solved the aesthetics, but a chair needs a piece of wood! I cant use it until the comes: 6-8 weeks! Thats why it would have been nice of them to offer me the free chair, because they knew how to take the money immediately!

First time in the store. Our first greeting was from Daniel Martinez. Excellent employee. We were in and out of the store in a few minutes and it was an amazing experience. The store is gorgeous and large but Mr. Martinez leaded us through it and left us satisfied.

The store itself is very nice and professional however when it comes to delivery… this is the WORST customer service I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t return phone calls for hours. I had the delivery drivers confirm that they’ll be at my house in 15 minutes but because they had a hard time finding my apartment building instead of calling me for help they skipped my stop completely and had me waiting around the house for HOURS over a couple of bedside lamps I wasn’t allowed to take with out of the store front. They are beyond inconvenient

Very nice man who helped me purchase my furniture. He worked hard with measurements and finding the right mattress. Thank youAn update to my experience with City Furniture. This has been a complete nightmare. I ordered bedroom furniture and it was delivered last Saturday. The box springs are extremely noisy so I filed a claim. When they text you, you wait and wait for an agent to come on. They never do. I called a number and waited for an agent to answer. This took 50 minutes. They sent a repairman out and he said they were defective. I had to go back to the store to make arrangements for an exchange. They were to make the exchange for today between 2:30 and 5:30. At noon I got a call they were on their way. I had to leave a restaurant! When they arrived they said they were only here to pick up the box springs that they had no exchange. I told them they could not take it. Shortly after, I got a call saying at 2:30 someone would let me know when they would be arriving later today to make the exchange. Never got that call. So at 7:00 I called that number and was on the phone for 90 minutes and they told me it would be 6 more days before they could make the exchange! I couldnt be more frustrated with this company. I am 64 years old and have never had to deal with a company that wont promptly fix their mistakes. This is in no way any fault of mine. My advice is go elsewhere.

Bought living room tables & dresser & night stands for the bedroom. Delivery was ahead of schedule, which was great. Been trying to get warranty service for some minor issues. Pulling teeth would be easier. Tried text messaging, that didnt work, so I decided to call. Waited for quite a while on hold. Decided to opt out for a return call, which never happened. Not pleased with customer service.

Our salesperson, Nazik Anton, was the most amazing and helpful advisor. We could not have asked for anyone better. She was knowledgeable about every piece of furniture and accessory in the store. The Ft Myers location of City Furniture was clean, beautifully set up and offered multiple styles and solutions for our needs. We had a perfect experience furnishing our home.

Ordered 5k worth furniture in June 2021, still waiting for furniture, it is now September 2021. They lied to me and told me everything will come the August 2021. I received 1/3 of the furniture I ordered so far. All the furniture I received was damaged. They delivered 1 dining room chair out of 4 and the glass for the dining room table but no base. They told me estimated date receive the rest of the set at the end of October 2021. Still waiting on the couch and coffee table. They don’t even call to tell me in advance when the furniture is coming, I get a call 2-3 hours before they come. Avoid the lies, headaches, and damaged furniture and go somewhere else!

City Furniture had many beautiful options. We were able to renovate our bedroom and living room with just the right pieces. Wasim Browne was excellent in helping us find furniture to compare with our tastes in mind.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: I spent $13K here in the last 60days and the following is why I will never go back... 1) The floor salespeople actually argued in front of us as to who spoke to my wife and I first so they’d get the commission before we even purchased. 2) Giving them your money does not reserve stock. Booking delivery dates within 2 weeks of delivery reserves stock. We had a timeline that was further out but imperative to be met. Not until weeks after our order did they tell us the delivery date has to be within 2 weeks to reserve stock when we PAID IN FULL. Items we wanted were then out of stock for our order and our deadline was not met. 3) and MOST IMPORTANT they don’t accept returns. $1500 of our $13K was an item that we could only see pictures of online. When finally delivered it was obviously a different color than depicted. The day of delivery, I spent over 3hrs on the phone arguing as to why it should be returned due to false advertising and poor customer service. I was told MANY TIMES it’s policy not to accept returns at all (LUDICROUS)!! Finally they gave me a store credit but ZERO REFUND, and now I get to do it all over again or forfeit my $1500. Anyone of these reasons is a good one not to shop here. (ZERO stars)

The sales person Kali always knows what I need. She is so helpful and really goes out of her way to please the customer. I keep visiting city furniture because of her and the great selections. Delievery time is unbelievable.

I wish I could give ZERO stars, they contacted regarding delivering a bed, which had previously been backordered, I was skeptical because of this, and contacted to confirm it was in fact available, had to make arrangements for someone to be there ($$), and also confirmed it by email and phone the day before the delivery, come delivery day, nobody showed, nobody called, I tried contacting again after the delivery window and was again assured they were coming, then after 6pm was called to be told the item was backordered, asked for some kind of compensation and their response was simply you can cancel the order ... the ABSOLUTE worst store I have ever dealt with, and good luck if you ever want to call and speak to someone, they put you on hold for hours and force you to text them so they can hide behind their keyboards. I went to City Furniture / Ashley Furniture to look at recliner chairs and possibly buy one if I found the right one. About 30 seconds after walking through the door I was greeted by David Ildefonso, he was wearing a face mask and asked if I needed help, I told him I was there to look at recliner chairs and told him the preferences I was looking for. He showed me many chairs and I had finally found the one. It was within my budget range so I ordered it. They have a pretty wide selection of recliner chairs. Now I have to say that David was very knowledgeable and friendly, however I would have given this review 5 stars but when I asked if there was any sales, rebates, or anything like that he said no. This was right after 4th of July, everyone was having sales, so thats why 4 stars and not 5. If it wasnt for finding the perfect chair I would have went to another Furniture store that had sales going on. I did end up ordering the gray color as seen in the pictures.

Completely over them. They bought the wrong headboard so they had to take it back and the next one isn’t available for almost 2 months so they left the bed pieces in my living room. My table came incomplete and they told me I had to order screws. I had to wait for an hour on hold to order them. When they came again to drop off the chairs, they said they weren’t told to assemble the table so they just left although I paid for installation. My dresser was missing a knob so I asked about it and they said they’ll order it. 2 weeks later, I followed up and they said no knob was ordered and that they’ll have to replace the whole dresser in two months when they have more in stock. Ridiculous…..

Everyone was nice, but did not tell us about any return policy. We loved the couch, it got delivered yesterday. It is too big for the area, we just need to swap the chaise for a seat and they would not at 1st. Someone important saw my issue and helped fix it quickly. Thanks Victor and everyone else.

I saw lots of lovely things at city furniture. I was interested in several but help was nowhere to be found. There were a few things without prices, as well. I had to go dig up help at the front of the store in order to buy a coverlet that I was interested in and many questions regarding other pieces of furniture went unanswered. The store is clean and bright and there’s a great selection. They just need to work on their personnel a bit.

Will never buy furniture from this place again. My childs bed was delivered with NO hardware and which we would have had to wait 6 to 8 weeks for but instead opted to purchase ourselves. Then we had to put the bed together ourselves because well trying to get through on the customer care line was a joke. After spending thousands in this store and dealing with the worst customer service and people who were supposed to put our bed together....never again. This has been going on for months now and we bought our own hardware and put the beds together ourselves with no help from this store. Unbelievable!!

One of my neighbors ordered from you and the two young kids that delivered all their furniture didnt pick up after bags and whatnot blew out of the back of the truck. It was all in the bushes and across the yard and they just packed up and left. Mighty nice of em, it looks like a disaster but thats fine. Someone will pick it up - right? We outfitted our master and our living room first then went back to outfit our spare bedroom. Ok - I have to admit that I was all prepared to write a long negative review. Without going into too much detail, I had a situation that I was certain they wouldnt help me with, and I was prematurely annoyed.Turns out, they did me a HUGE solid, and helped me resolve my issue!! Im not going to explain, as they dont normally do this, and I dont want to cause them issues now. What I will say is that EVERYONE - from my sales guys (Craig and Jorge), to the customer care team on the phone, to the delivery guys, to the manager (David), were all extremely nice and very helpful.Im extremely satisfied with my experiences with City Furniture, and since Im a designer, I know Ill be back!

Sales person was very nice. However do not buy from City Furniture unless you want to spend HALF A YEAR OR LONGER waiting for your items to be delivered. Our order came MONTHS later at different times but the mirror came broken. We purchased in March and mirror came in June but broken. They said delivery would be in August because its on back order but now they say it will come in September. Ridiculous. They wont pick up the mirror that is broken and sitting in my small dining/living area. Its in my way and all customer care says its im sorry but we cant do anything about it So AVOID HEADACHES AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR FURNITURE NEEDS.

My son & daughter in law recently married. My husband & I wanted to buy living room furniture for them as a wedding gift. We found just what we were looking for at City furniture. The 4 piece sectional was delivered 2 weeks later. It is really beautiful furniture with one exception....the chaise section was heavily used (it had dog hair on it!) and the main wood support underneath was broken. They had to wait 2 weeks to get it replaced. My son was working the day it arrived so my daughter & daughter in law dealt with the delivery. Because we hadn’t paid for custom deliver initially the delivery people wouldn’t remove the broken piece of junk & replace it with the new piece. The deliver guys stood by while the 2 girls lugged this large chaise lounge down a steep flight of stairs for them to remove. The new piece was brought upstairs later when my son got home. I have never seen such horrible customer service. We’ll never enter this store again....

Purchased a table in November 2020, it is now May 2021 and we have received the table base and no table top. The top was only suppose to be a few weeks behind but every other week it keeps getting pushed back and now the delivery date on a table top is now in July 2021. How does it take almost 8 months to receive a piece of the order and only receive half the item? The sales representative should’ve been clear of delivery times when ordered. Very high pressure while you are in store.

We went to several furniture stores who did not have what we needed. We were able to furnish our entire house in one visit with the help of Michael Balazy. He took his time and went through all the color options and suggested complimenting pieces. We will definitely be coming back to accessorize once our furniture is delivered. I purchased a house full of furniture during 2020 including stain removal warranty (empty stores during the pandemic) from City Furniture.- In March 2021 my 5 month old puppy urinated on the couch saturating the entire cushion and some surrounding cushions.- I immediately contacted and filed a warranty claim. Supplying pictures and info.- I was made to wait 11 days for a technician to come to my home to verify the damage.- The technician was in my home for less than 5 minutes, took 2 pictures and made no attempts to rectify and stated he would submit the report.- City Furniture called me 2 hours later to inform me they are not going to honor the warranty.- Their reasoning was that after we submitted the claim we washed the cushions.- Apparently at City Furniture it is an acceptable request to expect a customer to leave urine stained, harsh smelling cushions in your home for 11 days waiting on their 3rd party technicians.- They refused to replace or refund. Unacceptable!

Furniture was delivered looking like the delivery truck just came from a demolition derby. Ripped cardboard boxes and the hardware bag must have fallen out because half the screws were missing and the other half were loose in the box. After calling customer service it took nearly a month for them to send out a random bag of hardware that didn’t even match our set! We eventually gave up trying to deal with them and shopped elsewhere because we didn’t want to wait another month for more random hardware to show up.

We furnished an entire house NOT by City furniture. We chose to do our shopping elsewhere because City associates are required to dictate mask-wearing on everyone who walks in the door. We chose to spend our money in stores where customers have the liberty to decide based on personal conviction and preferred data sources......not “science” mandated by the government or media. Unfortunate that City chooses to buy into this mentality. I bet they lose a lot of business. They definitely lost ours.

We knew exactly what item we wanted before we walked into City Furniture but we were pleasantly greeted by Michelle. She escorted us to the location of the item we wanted and we checked it out up close, chose to buy it and settled the deal. Very easy sale but the questions we had regarding the item along with other items were answered completely. Michelle was very nice and I would definitely look for her when we purchase any additional items from City Furniture.

Sadly after 11 years as a loyal customer I have to write a terrible review of what should be a good store. They have sadly lost their way and are using Covid and supply issues as excuses for poor customer service a follow up. I will not bore you with the details but I have been Couch less since April 2021 knowing the item i ordered was on back order I was told it would be in in June (also ordered dining table and 4 chairs) ... I was ok with that delivery finally settled on July 5th ... I fly to Ft Myers from Michigan only to find the delivery date was July 10th that didnt work we into store to make sure no mistakes and the date was changed to July 8th ... when typing it in apparently a box did not get checked and my entire order was cancelled less 2 of the dining chairs ... so delivery date arrives and I simply got 2 chairs ... back to store same day and they tell my my couch was assigned to a different order and I will now get it in September! Can you do something I asked - No I was told thats it ... contacted customer service they said store would call to compensate for delay (I want my couch not compensation ) 1 week later still not call ... so folks sadly I have to write this review - very disappointed

I have always liked shopping at City Furniture, and today was no different. I found the perfect bedroom set for my growing child, and while I love the pieces I selected I am writing this review because I received the best service I’ve ever had at any furniture store. I worked with a young gentleman named Ezekiel at the Fort Myers location. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful but without a single ounce of pressure. When I walk into a furniture store, I don’t want someone following me and I don’t want someone trying to suggest options that do not align with what I have communicated I am in the market for. In fact, many times I want to be left alone until I’m ready to chat! Ezekiel was such a great salesman and knew how to let me ponder and then let me ask questions. Next time I go back, I’ll be asking for him!

I am so unhappy I purchased a king size mattress and bed frame here. Twin bases dont fit without a gap, the trial period is a joke, itll cost over $200 to do so not counting the over $100 pad you have to buy.

I ordered a chest/dresser on February 13th. It stated it was in stock or I would have picked something else. 2 days before my delivery, I received an email that my order is out of stock and will be available in April. In April, I received another email that my order is back ordered until May. I figured I would wait til today to see if I actually received the chest or if the order would be rescheduled again. City Furniture delivered the chest with the leg completely broken off!!!! I was told to submit a claim online and now have to wait an additional 5-7 days for a reply after this piss poor company has had my money since FEBRUARY!!!!! They have no delivery company in this area, therefore they drive from the East Coast so they only come to SW FL certain days of the week. Family members are having a very similar issue with a chest that is part of a bedroom package they ordered. It has also been on back order and now wont be delivered til July! This company takes your money then states things are on back order for months and months out. Once you finally receive your items they are damaged!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! I should have cancelled this order back in March at the time of the 1st delay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and took time to show me around individually to all corners of the store. I was looking for a matress and table and they talked to me about all the different kinds and answered all my questions. The store has a great selection of items and prices are reasonable. Delivery is quick! Three days from now! Wow!

Items broken when delivered. Had to go a month without a sofa while new one was backordered.Delivery broke outdoor light and tried to hide it.

I absolutely love the furniture selection of city furniture. They carry modern furniture without the hefty price tag. The furniture looks really high end and the quality is amazing. I have purchased there 3 times so far and they don’t disappoint!

They are scammers - you spend a lot money there and the customer service is terrible. They don’t care about you. All they want is your money. They don’t tell you sales are final until they deliver the item.Don’t go there.I have to go the legal route for something that can be easily resolved.Never again.
