They delivered 2 pallets of mulch. So much easier than running back & forth with the SUVs. Don’t have to load it or unload it as they place it on your property. Conrad was excellent as a driver, placing the pallets exactly where instructed. He also avoided the cars and garbage cans parked on the street. And no sprinklers were damaged. The price is lower than big box diy places and the delivery charge is very reasonable. Everyone talks about supporting our local businesses. Well here is a good business that should be supported. We will call them when it’s time to do the decorative rocks! Thank you, Annie

Gulf Coast has the best supply of rock, mulch and pine straw available to the public, and all at affordable prices. The assistance you receive in trying to decide about landscaping is wonderful, as Annie knows exactly what works and what doesn’t!

Having had a less than good experience with my last order, I placed an in person order with Gulf Coast Landscape for 5 yds. of 1 stone. I specifically asked Travis NOT to give me stones from the bottom of the crib because the quality is usually poor and consists mostly of grit and pebbles less than 1/2. Travis ASSURED me that that would not happen again. Upon delivery, I found the stone to be of the same poor quality as before. I made a call and was told that Henry the owner would come to inspect. Henry took numerous pictures and told me that this was unacceptable and he would get with his supplier. I asked him to remove the stone and provide me with 5 yds. of good stone. Henry declined saying that he couldnt risk damaging my driveway with his equipment. I told him I needed at least 3 yds. of clean stone and the grit removed. He said yes to the stone and no to removing the grit. He then asked that I call Travis back and he would contact him to expect my call. Travis would make it right. In the meantime he suggested I sift through the stone and use the grit as filler. I learned within 5 minutes of his leaving that IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR A HOMEOWNER TO SIFT THROUGH 5 yds. OF GRAVEL IN THE DRIVEWAY. I visited Travis and inquired about the new stone. He said he was out of stock but would call me as soon as fresh stone arrived AND this time he would give me stone from the top of the pile. Travis never called. Three days later I made a trip to the nursery to see what was going on to find the crib almost empty. Stone had been delivered and Travis sold off most of the supply without taking care of my problem. Without shouts and screams we discussed the issue. Travis said after thinking it over he could only give me 2 yds. and Id have to dispose of the grit myself. He made suggestions that I could dump the grit or try and sell it as fill...I told him that the last thing I wanted at this point was to be in the stone business. I tried to make him understand how I was overcharged for product that I paid $166/yd. for but received about 3 out of the 5 yds. of it as grit that he sells for $30/yd. Besides that I have to SIFT!!! through the grit to get my stone. It didnt seem to faze him. As I walked out, Travis said hed see about putting some extra stone on the truck for my troubles. As expected the second load of stone was from the bottom of the crib and now I have even more grit to try and get rid of. The bad review shouldnt come as a surprise as I told Travis I wasnt satisfied with the entire experience from the moment they dropped the stone up to the point of our conversation. A weekend job has turned in to two weeks of sifting stone and a mountain of junk in my driveway.
