I was in an accident and heard from a friend that Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet did great body work. They did a fantastic job. Steve Sanders took care of everything. He kept me updated throughout the whole process. He even spoke to my insurance company for me, leaving me more time to focus on my life. It didnt feel like a hassle at all. Plus, my truck came out looking great! Hopefully Im not in a wreck again, but if I am, I know where Im taking my vehicle.

Bought four new tires from Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet at a price comparable to Discount Tire. My Service Advisor, Abraham, showed me the tread depth on all four tires so I was convinced I really needed to replace them. He also took pictures of the new tires they ordered before they were installed to prove they were identical to the ones I had. Kudos to Abraham and Shannon for great customer service.

My husband spoke to Mitch on the phone, we were told they could work with us with getting a car. When we got there, an older man took a quick look at the car we came in and told us they couldnt do anything for us. I wouldnt be so irritated if they were just straight forward with us on the phone. Wasted time, gas, and got my son out in the heat to be judged on how we looked.
Misleading and deceiving in their pricing. Failed to communicate extreme service charges and when we asked the manager for confirmation on costs, we were quoted half of what we were required to pay. Car was returned to us with wrong language defaulted and low tire pressure but I guess had we asked for help with that we would have been charged yet another extreme service fee. Only communication after setting up the appointment was text messages that look like they were written by a 12 year old texting his girlfriend. Wouldnt recommend this family owned company to my worst enemy.
Walked in! No one greeted us, they had headphones in EXTREMELY unprofessional. It was raining so we ran into the internet sales department business for assistance on how to locate the main building and were treated really bad (…..thats a good way to sell a car). I said “hello? How are you, can we get someone to help us outside?” There is a caucasian man (should have gotten his name short brown hair and facial hair) that sits RIGHT in front of the door. He stared at me and said “um help with what?” Ummmmmmmm purchasing a car in the middle of this car lot??? Never experienced. Anything like that. TWO of us were trying to get in something today @bruce lowrie you have some employess getting in the way of your money…just saying
Weve taken our truck here for years and never had a bad experience. Always nice and straight forward and never suggesting we need additional repairs when its not actually needed. Weve had issues with other service departments, this one is the one we will stick with.
Got me in and out for a oil change. Making appointment on my Chevy app was a breeze. Very good communication of appointment from setting to reminders. Service tech was upfront about recommending preventative maintenance on next appointment.
My dad took his truck there to get an oil change. He was then called and talked into getting some additional maintenance work that was not necessary. After picking up the truck from the service dept. He was less than 300 ft from the service center and his truck started to mess up. He immediately drove back to the service center and showed the service agent what was going on with his truck. They took the truck back and ran a diagnostic test which showed a problem with his catalytic converter. Explain how a perfectly working truck with less than 42K miles now has to have a catalytic converter changed. In addition, he now has to wait on the service center to fix the truck his truck, which they messed up. Either the service shop employs INEPT mechanics who dont know what they are doing, or they purposefully damaged his truck to get more money out of him. Either way, we will NEVER EVER go back there again. I would give them zero stars, but i have to choose one in order to post this comment.
Service team is better than all the other Chevy dealerships in the area, and I have been to them all. I cant bring myself to give them 5 stars because they offered me so little on my almost mint condition sub-100k mile Z28. They also wont come down on their new car prices at all and their used truck prices are high enough to go buy a new truck somewhere else. Also, every time Im on the sales floor on the new car side, I have to go find someone to talk to if Im lookingto buy. All other Chevy dealerships at least walk up and offer to sell me something. 5 stars for the service team. 3 stars for the sales floor
Had a great experience. Kelly was very helpful getting us a deal done. Especially given our circumstances. My issue is that the vehicle was not well cleaned inside. Noticed the back gate is hitting the top of the bumper skin and leaving scratch’s. That should have been addressed. This equinox is sold as a new vehicle. It does have 5000 miles on it as it was explained to be a program vehicle. Very happy with our purchase and how the deal was done. Exceeded our expectations.
It wouldve been nice to get the issue resolved the first time I brought my car in, but Im glad they were able to get it resolved eventually.

Went to have work done on my truck, and I gotta hand it to everyone here, the customer service and work done is on point. Sunga is my service advisor, and he does an awesome job of keeping me informed on the status of my vehicle, and he does what he can to make sure things get fixed right the first time. The waiting room is clean, and spaced out. The coffee and water is a very nice touch, and the vending machine options arent bad at all either. The people in the parts department are really knowledgeable, and they are efficient at looking up their inventory. Every sales member I talked to has been knowledgeable about the cars and trucks they are selling. Definitely plan on making my next purchase here again.
For the second time. i have had a not so good experience. this is twice that i brought my truck in for a simple oil change and tire rotation and when i got my truck back it had oil on the hood and finders. from the person that worked on it. the shop manager acted like it was no big dill. he said thats easy to clean up. but why did it have oil on the hood and finders it was not from me. also they forgot to recalibrate my tires. i told them that the tires was not and i was right. so they came out side and fix the problen. the manager said that the guy forgot to. he only had two things to do change oil and rotate tires. you tell me ?

I am a travel nurse working in ft worth Texas. My car broke down after my shift at the hospital and I called the nearest Chevy house I could find on google. When the lady told me they close at 8, my heart sank Because there was no way I could get it towed there in 30 min. I explained to the lady that I am from out of town, and she told me to hold on just a minute. She came back on the phone and told me that security would open the gate after hours to call when I got there. Everyone was very polite and professional and kept me updated well along the way. I can’t thank you guys enough for taking care of me after hours, and fixing my issue for what I call a pretty fair price!!! You will definitely continue to have my buisness. 👏
The staff were courteous and attentive. Service was fairly priced and was performed in a timely manner. A wall display kept customers updated on what order their cars were being worked on and where they were in the process (e.g., Pending, Finished, etc.). A staff member came through the lounge periodically to touch base with each customer to make sure they were aware of where they were in the queue. Most importantly, THERE WAS NO TV PLAYING, which I very much appreciated. I want peace and quiet, not some chatter from a TV.

Me and husband are up to date on all our Chevy. Bruce lowrie had us to bring in the Silverado came back to pick up they didnt know where it was and asked us to pick up the next day and overcharged us.
The process was quick and they made it very easy. My favorite part was how quickly and with courtesy we had a sales person greet us!

Other dealers are transparent and make customers aware of market adjustments clearly on their websites. Spent 2 hours today selecting a vehicle, negotiating the sale price to be told at the finance table that there is a $3,500 market adjustment on all vehicles. During my interactions with the internet sales person, sales person and sales manager, not once did anyone mention any sort of market adjustment. This evening looking at other dealers websites, and the market adjustments are clearly represented on their website. It appears that due to low inventory on vehicles due to a computer ship shortage, dealers have imposed a market adjustment to make up for lost inventory. The deceptive approach to the market adjustment at this dealership is unacceptable.
My rating would be much higher if it had not been for the cashier at checkout.She ask for my id which I presented my DL and my Veteran ID . She never offered to honor the Veteran discount even though she held my Veteran ID in her hand. When it comes time for my next Chevrolet service I will consider a different GM dealer for my needs.

We made an appointment for an oil change at 12. Dropped off my car at 11:15 and went back to work. I called several times to ask if it would be done before 3 because I had to pick up my kids from school at 3:15. The last time I called they said it should be ready by 2:45. I get there at 2:45 and it’s not done. They tell me they serviced other cars first because they waited in the lobby, so I’m confused on what the purpose of my appointment was if they weren’t going to service my car at that time.I was able to get my car back with the help of 2 ladies in the cashier desk at around 3:10.Overall, disappointed with the way they handled my appointment. It should have never took 4 hours for an oil change.
I brought the car in on a Tuesday morning and did not get it back until Thursday evening. To me that was an excessive amount of time.

Drive all they way from Grand Prairie after my husband called, the women whom he spoke with from service stated we could be seen if we arrived before 5pm. We arrive at exactly 4:45 pm only to be told we couldn’t been seen ! After getting in a car a male approached me and stated he had no cashier nor enough working tech. I apologize but if you don’t have enough employees don’t even operate or inform your service girl with updated information so they won’t be given out false information ! Very disappointed in the lack of service !

Every time I bring my car into service I can’t get a loaner. I was told 3 days with out my car which was fine because I had the time but when it turns into a whole week it was a little up setting not having a car for a week.
I had an appointment for Tuesday and vehicle was not looked at until Friday. I received a call late Friday that issue fixed and could pick up. I picked up my vehicle on Saturday and discovered that issue still existed on my drive home. Returned vehicle back to dealership on Monday for evaluation. No update at this time. No loaner vehicle available either.

Came in on a Saturday to get an oil change. They said it wasnt busy at all and they would get it in and out right away. Left for an hour and 45 minutes to get breakfast, came back and found out that they didnt even get it started yet. Marty in service said they got real busy after we dropoed our car off but he wasnt going to take any more oil changes after 11 am so he should be able to get it in soon. So apparently even if you are here early, they will put later arriving customers ahead of you. The first come first serve thing doesnt apply here.

I thought I had an oil leak it was Friday afternoon and the dealership was already closed. I showed up at 7a.m. Saturday morning and was greeted with friendly personnel and I explained my concern ... they immediately sent a supervisor/manager out to take a look and then put my car up on the rack. Come to find out it wasnt oil, but something I had driven in that was greasy that sprayed on the side and top of my car. They didnt make me feel like an idiot which I am so grateful and that they took the time to look under the hood and underneath the car. Thank you! I love my Camaro - she rocks just like you guys!!!!

He got us into a 2020 Chevy Equinox with a recent Bankruptcy discharge, no hassle and all and he even stayed over 2 hour past closing time so we could come sign same day. It wasnt a bad experience just that after having bought my previous car at a Honda Dealership and experiencing how they explain everything that was done to your vehicle and are very different with their customers. I must admit I was a bit disappointed
I received a letter from GMC about my 2013 Terrain and the possible free replacement by GMC Corporation of two parts due to a default with excessive oil use. I took the vehicle to the Bruce Lowrie; where I bought it used without a warranty about two years ago, to the Maintenance Department. The two parts were the 02 Sensors and the Catalytic Converter; which were keeping my car from passing inspection for quite sometime now (Check Engine Light illuminated). They told me they would replace the 02 sensors, which they did. I asked them why not both the sensors and the catalytic converter as prescribed in the letter? I was told GMC required them (yall) to replace the parts one at a time to see if that fixed the problem. This was the first lie. When I pick up the vehicle and the Check Engine light was still illuminated, I was told to drive it for two days to see if the light would reset. A second deception, since they(yall) knew it would not fix the problem. Bruce Lowrie did not; and never did, intend to replace the CC per the letter. They (yall) made me return my SUV a second time and pay $150.00 for a diagnostic check to see if the catalytic converter was the problem. I still was under the misconception they (yall) were willing (per the letter) to replace the CC. A costly deception for me by them (yall), since they (yall) had the car already for a few days; and knew the CC was the problem. They were not going to ever replace the CC without charging me for it. They were painstakingly clear that I was not eligible for the free replacement in the letter; since I gave them (yall) a copy of the letter from the very beginning of this process; and of course my vehicle as well.If Lowrie maintainence personnel had been honest about this stand from the beginning,I would have understood; thank them for replacing the O2 Senors (factory recall item); and written this as a positive review. It appears now all you managed to do was lose a customer that had twice before bought cars from you.Sadly & Sincerely,Lance A. JayCaptain, USAF (Retired)
Left my husbands Malibu all day and they didnt touch it. All he needed was an oil change and serviced. He takes his mother to doctor on Thursdays so had to get the car back and then bring it again today. 2 days, 4 times driving there/back, wasted gas, wasted time and stress.
Worst Dealership in Fort Worth TX...Service Departments is worthless, They(dealership) will take your vehicle for recall service, and come out with worst damage.. Hate to say because I have over 16 years of Customer Loyalty, Do Not Trust Bruce Lowrie. Their excuse is “all their mechanics are ASE certified” and seems to wash their hand from the customer problems. Then they tell you call the insurance company to report the damage, so they can get more work.
When I do have auto insurance my ins app cant be used to verify my policy. Broce Lowrie requires a paper copy.
Okay, I gave them the VIN number they gave me the wrong paint 23 MI it took me to drive there got home wrong paint call them told him I was coming back to get the right paint, I gave them the VIN number again they gave me the wrong paint again this is awful they have the VIN number and they still gave me the wrong paint.*Twice*

My car is just not a car, it is a 1996 Corvette Grand Sport. I purchased this car new on June 26, 1996 from Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet. This Corvette is my baby. I want and expect only perfection in the maintenance of this Corvette. Over the years, the Lowrie Family have yet to disappoint me. My recent visit was typical of what I come to expect from the Service Techs, perfection. The Parts department went out of their way to insure I had part numbers on parts that are no long in stock, so I could find them from other sources. Glad to hear that over the years, Bruce Lowrie is still family owned.

You all sent me a text message with the option to purchase new tires but at the price you suggested, roughly $900, I figured that would be for 4 tires. However, it was only for 2. That is highway roberry; Fort Worth Tire will do it for half with the same tires. You have lost a customer forever for not disclosing that to one who had just spent several thousand dollars on other service items.

I stopped by today in my 2016 Chevrolet Corvette because my drivers side rear tire was losing air —rapidly! Herman my service advisor called IAS to verify that I had actually purchased the wheel and tire protection package ( I thought I did but wasn’t sure). Turns out I did and the tire repair would be covered at no cost to me. The bad news was that because the tires are odd, they weren’t in stock until this afternoon. To help me get to Plano for work (an hour drive), Herman added air to my run flat tire to make it to my next stop. Despite the rain, the day was a little bit brighter than it could have been. Well first off yall charge me 20.00 to plug my tire and yall was suppose to rotate my tires. I go home get up the next morning the same tire is reading low again and yall trying to tell me I needed a new tire and.Did not fix it the first time therefore I had to go somewhere else and pay too get my tire plug and I had already paid Bruce lowery to do that so I was very unsatisfied with yall because that was not right.
