As a patient of Eagle Mountain Family Eye Care (formerly First Eye Care) for 33 years, I have never been disappointed in their vision care or products. The doctors and staff are always very caring and professional. They take the time to be certain that any questions are answered without being in a rush to see their next patient. I have extremely poor vision and this practice has truly been a blessing in my life.

I’m sad because this place was recommended to me and I was all excited about it, and y’all I NEVER leave a bad review. But I ordered tradition glasses a couple weeks ago, came in to pick them up today and they were only regular clear glasses. They made me pay $85 more for the correct lenses and I have to come back in 2 weeks to get them. I definitely ordered transitions... we had a big discussion about whether to get brown or gray and I ended up going with brown so I KNOW that’s what I ordered. I’m just disappointed that I was quoted the wrong price and they didn’t try to make it right. The girl who helped me the first time was super sweet and I hope it was an honest mistake, but in that case they should have tried to make it right.

I went in to pick up my glasses and I had one pair that was not sitting on my face to well. So the lady who was helping would leave to the back to fix them and then come back for me to try them back on. After the second time she brought a lady by the name of Alison. Who approaches me and said that her name was Alison and what is the problem with your glasses??!! I told her there is no problem they just don’t lay right on the bridge of my nose. The clear pieces had to be adjusted but her tone and body language was very unprofessional. She stood there and acted more like a bodyguard than an associate. I will never go back to such an unprofessional place there are way better places than this place. I only went because my coworker recommended this place in search of frames. I’ll stick to my Eyes Nouveau in Hulen.

Called to discuss industrial safety goggles. Only need the lenses. The person I spoke to did not understand customer service, very unprofessional. Wow! Not interested in my business? Wouldnt want them working my front desk. Will take my good money elsewhere.

Sadly over the last few years I’ve dealt with rude staff and hour long wait time, then a less then thorough eye exam, over priced glasses, lied to about promotions etc. huge red flags though on our last visit and we won’t be going back, I took my son and we waited for an hour to be seen for a quick exam and the results were far worse then we expected, got a second opinion from a wonderful optometrist just a few days later and came out with a completely different prescription and they performed several more tests to yield accurate prescription results we are so glad we found a better doctor that uses so many more forms of testing and screening. Also the mark up on eye glasses is laughable for example found a pair of frames here for $460 ordered online for $115.

I was able to schedule my daughter for her first eye exam online. They even let you see a picture of who the doctor you will be able to see. That’s was helpful because she was nervous because this was all new to her. When we got there we had to go through the Covid screening process but they were all nice and helpful through it all. That was how our experience through or entire process went. They were all so patient and explained everything to her. I was so pleased because growing up I remember feeling so scared and worried at the eye doctor. My daughter was the total opposite. She was so excited and can’t wait for her glasses to come in. She has told everyone about how nice Dr. Miller and his staff were.

We love our doctor, but cant say the same about their employees that work in eye wear. In fact, well never purchase another pair of glasses there. Most recently, my wife and I ordered new lenses for our own frames. Mine were so screwed up the theyre unusable in my occupation. This happened the last time as well, so lets call that strike two. Then, the technicians broke my wifes frame when they were putting in the new lenses. Subsequent investigation clearly shows that one of her new lenses did not fit well and the frame was broken when the technician cross-threaded a screw and tried to force the frame around the slightly oversize lens. (Cross-threaded = poor workmanship). Folks at Eagle Mountain Eye Care, a customer, signing a waiver to use existing frames does not give you permission to tear up our stuff. I get it. Mistakes happen. Telling us that the frames are not repairable and offering 40% off of new frames would make sense if it were the frames that actually failed, but guess what ... we took them to another place, and they WERE repairable. The lens was resized and installed in the repaired frame. So, my question is, why didnt you just admit that her frames were damaged by your carelessness and have them repaired rather than hiding behind a waiver? What am I to assume? You dont know your job? That you dont care about my property because youd rather sell us a new pair of frames? Doesnt matter. Strike 3. We wont be back. And we may be looking for another doctor, as well.

My husband been here before. He likes it BUT is impossible to get appointments whatsoever.

Very clean, comfortable, and professional. I got in and got greeted by multiple ladies at the front desk. They genuinely seem to care about every single person that walks through the front door. Then, I didn’t wait even 5 minutes before going to the back. The equipment seemed up to date and every lady I met was super nice. The the doctor was able to explain everything to me very well. Looking for glasses was fun, the ladies helped out so much and was honest about the frames I put on. I had an outstanding experience!

Doctors are great. Great facility. Good tech to get you the right prescription for your eyes.The only issue is I don’t know why the only option is either get your eyes dilated or pay an additional $39 to take a quick look at the retinal scanner that they already have access to. Probably wouldn’t be a big deal if I wasn’t broke! But if you have insurance, still expect to spend around ~$150-200 for glasses.Personally don’t wear contacts.

I went mid-March 2020 for an eye exam. The doctor was great. I spent $600 on glasses because I wanted to get them fitted to my face by pros. They came in during quarantine so they were mailed to me. I was told to get them fitted after quarantine which is fine. However, the frames were chipped so I had to return them instead. It took months for them to be ready. I was told today 8/21/2020 that I can pick them up but cant get them fitted until SEPTEMBER. Half a year from when I purchased them! Thats ridiculous! Theyre leaning a bit too heavily on the pandemic to excuse shoddy service.

I could not be more happy! Today was my first time visiting and I loved it. They have great customer service. I was greeted by big smiles from Candice and Ana, which automatically made me feel comfortable. I was looking for eyeglasses my 6 year old son and I would agree on. Erika made the whole process easy and enjoyable for us both. Erika was so patient with my son. I would definitely go back just from her great customer service alone. Patty also helped find my husband some awesome sunglasses. So that was a great bonus for us. Once we picked glasses for my son, Allyson put our order in and we were out the door. Fast, easy and a fantastic team overall. My family and I will definitely be going back!

This is easily the best eye exam Ive had in years. Last year was good but with a new doc there is always that unknown. This year she used some new techniques that made it easier for me and made some great suggestions to help me when Im on my adventures away from home. The tech was also a joy to work with. The lady check out new exactly how to work with my insurance and I left feeling very pleased with the process. On time, quick and efficient.

Outstanding eye care facility. Front desk personnel are friendly and efficient. Vision techs are highly professional, with excellent customer service skills. Both the facility and equipment are state of the art. Dr. DeBerry gives a comprehensive and thorough eye exam, including for diabetics. She patiently explains any vision issues,and answers all questions. She is one of the very best eye doctors I have ever visited, and I would go nowhere else for eye exams or vision problems.

I had the most wonderful experience yesterday. I went in to see if I could get some new contacts and to ask when my next appointment was. It wasn’t for another few months but my insurance was running out at the end of this month. They were able to get me in that day! Everyone was super nice and accommodating. Dr Miller and his staff are thorough but efficient in processing patients and there unique needs. I had an issue happen that needed immediate attention... and Dr Miller made sure there was a way to get me looked at that afternoon. Turned out antibiotics were needed and timely treatment was important. Thank you Dr Miller for running a “Tight Ship” that still care for patients as if they were family members.....

I woke up in the morning and felt like I had an eyelash stuck. When I realize that I had nothing in my eye used eye drop flush my eyes I had to call. Thankfully they got me appointment two hours later. Went in saw the doctor and he removed the Forgein Object. I was in and out of the office 40 min. They got my prescription in fast. The whole time I spent going the doctor and getting my prescription I was back home in an hour and a half. All that happens in the morning got home at 1:00. I would recommend anyone to go this place. Friendly staff and the big plus is that I don’t have any insurance and the price was very affordable. Plus, plus!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Just want to thank them for all around great visit, good environment, treatment and the price was perfect. So blessed to find them.🙏🏼🙏🏼Keep it up!!

A while ago I went to pickup my wife’s glasses from here, I called them and let them know I’d be arriving right when they are closing.When I parked it was exactly at closing time and as I walked to to open the door someone walked up to the door and locked it....So yeah we never have been back to this place since. Just remember to write a view while writing a review for the much better Lake Worth Premier Eye Care.

Got eyes checked. Diabetes test. Glacouma check and basic eye check. Regular test no charge with insurance. And paid extra for diabetes check. All good! Great service! Great professionals.

Went in had the my lenses made perfect to my site. However, got them scratched and took them in to get replaced. Staff member gave me a hard time even though they were under warranty. Went on vacation and my glasses fell on some gravel. Took them back in and same staff member gave me a hard time again but still under warranty. Finally got my new lenses and they are all wrong. Now I will have to take them back again to try to fix. I rather squint than wear the new ones they gave me. I will be taking my business somewhere else once they fix. If you dont feel comfortable by the way they treat you, probably not the best place to go.

I have been going to Eagle Mountain Family Eye Care for about 10 years and I have always received the best of service! Throughout the years I have had appointments with all three doctors and each is phenomenal and well experienced. I have never had to worry about which doctor I work with for my routine yearly visits.At my recent visit, I chose a pair of glasses with the help of Madison and she was the best! I am a very picky person when it comes to eyewear and Madison worked with me to find what I wanted. I ended up buying a pair of clear frames with grey transitional lens. On top of that, she gave me a quote for polarized prescription lens for my New Wayfarer Ray-bans! Ask for Madison if you want a great deal on a new pair of frames and lenses! I highly recommend her to anyone! She saved me so much money (hundreds of dollars)!Overall, great clinic with great people!

I have a difficult eyeglasses prescription and Dr. Deberry was awesome! I have been coming here for more than 10 years and they explain changes in detail so you can understand. Very upset how this establishment conducts business. I was told today that they would be open until 6pm so I could pick up my glasses. I drive all the way from Weatherford in the rain at 5pm to get there and they have a sign saying they closed at 4pm. I was not notified! Ive been a faithful customer since the 90s and will be taking mine and my familys eye care somewhere else.

Back about 10 years ago Dr. Miller detected a discrepancy in my left eye. I give him most of the credit for saving my eye sight. I just left there about 3 1/2 hours ago. I found that they have once again updated their equipment. Its state of the art. Ill be using him for the remainder of my days.

072419 I wanted glasses in network so I visited this location. The personalities met there were upbeat and positive, however, when I checked the math on one pair of glasses, it was off by nearly a third. Then I checked the math for the second pair and my optician had miscalculated that total as well! I am afraid of this location. But, stay tuned; I will do my diligence to see if they offer the thriftiest value.

Everything was great like always... ACCEPT one thing..😡😡😡my husband and I both had appointments 15 minutes apart, so I was done first. I asked the young lady who was helping me after my appointment was over, if I could have a cleaning cloth for my glasses. She said sure, no problem and brought me out a bag with a cloth and a little spray bottle of cleanser. Great!!! Husband gets done and I reminded him to get a cleaning cloth for his glasses too. Well.....he was told we only give them away to people buying glasses...are you kidding me???? Is this place really cutting back that much that after we both had our eyes checked, he couldnt even get a little cleaning rag???? Especially after I had just got one??? That was really pretty rude. But thats o.k.... yall just lost two customers over this, we wont be back. I dont know who made this rule up, but you might want to reconsider the repercussions ....

My experience with Eagle Mountain Family Eye Care was one that clearly indicated they are far more concerned about collecting their charges over patient care. I had an eye injury, my insurance had just updated issuing a new card that I did not have with me. So I could get my eye injury looked at by the Doctor, I wanted to pay cash for my visit, then come back and provide my updated insurance number.They refused to let me pay cash for my visit. They insisted I drive 40 minutes back to my home, get the new updated insurance card and return all while I was not able to see clearly due to my injured eye. In my opinion, there is a far better practice 5 minutes down the road that provides customer care service.

I have been Dr. Matt Millers patient for many years. He is a very caring and attentive Dr. He never rushes you in & out. He takes the time to hear you and help you with any problems concerning your eyes. The staff is very courteous and friendly and helpful. I recommend Eagle Mountain Eye Care to everyone.

They took such good care of me. The staff was very kind and professional. Dr. G is great. I am so glad she is my new doctor.

Been coming to this office for over 10 years. Never had anything but a stellar experience. Other businesses can learn from this one. Not sure how they train their staff but they are extremely customer service focused. RJK
