We have shopped at the Dance Shoppe for years. After several unfortunate experiences, including being fitted incorrectly for pointe shoes and having to absorb the cost ourselves, we have finally made the commitment to shop somewhere else. Today I called to get the shoe model and size of my daughters pointe shoes-and after a long hold was told their system was down. When Valerie called me back-she informed me my account had been deleted because I had left a bad review on YELP> I called Winners All Today and am so excited about our appointment tomorrow-they are kind, courteous, and will go above and beyond to be sure my daughter will have everything she needs to dance. So if you are tired of the poor service at the Dance Shoppe-Try Winners All in Fort Worth.

My daughter and I stopped in today for her first pair of jazz shoes. From the time we step in the door the ladies were very helpful and attentive. My daughter has a difficult foot to fit and they worked hard to find her the right shoes and they succeeded. We will definitely be back.

We dont have a local dance shop unless you consider an almost 1.5 hour one way shop local but to be able to see, feel, and try on great quality brands at still reasonable prices is priceless. My almost 13 year old has struggled to find great fitting, great quality, affordable leotards for dance via online avenues and with CoVID-19 I was thinking that was our only option. Thankful to have gone into the The Dance Shop at Fort Worth to find what we needed to meet our leotard needs.

They know exactly what they need to do to get the perfect size of point shoes and any other shoe you may need. They have beautiful leotards and ballet skirts. They give you all the information you need to do what you need to do and honistly have no flaws (unless you are a Karen and skreem and cry when you have to wear a mask)

Im 49 years old just getting started in ballet. The woman that helped me get some ballet slippers was very helpful. She made me feel I wasnt too old to start dancing.

Hours on google are very much wrong. The only day that is correct is Sunday which is the day they are closed. I tried to submit changes, but I guess that feature must be blocked or something. The ONLY reason for such a low rating is because of the times being incorrect and the wasted trip over here. Once I see that they have been corrected I will be happy to amend my rating. Hoping we can get back over here earlier in the day to get what we need.

Went in today to get a point shoe fitting and Valerie is absolutely amazing. She spent quality time with us took time to look at the foot before even trying on any shoes My daughter was very happy with her shoes. The best fit ever! Valerie also took time and helped us pick out the perfect leotards. We traveled 40 miles and it was definitely worth it!

Nice local small business. They had the shoes we needed, and a good selection of leotards and extras. Was disappointed that I had to sign up with my personal info before being able to pay with a credit card.

Drove 2.5 hours to visit The Dance Shop for my daughters pointe shoes since we do not have a store locally where we live. We went with several girls from our dance studio and the store was extremely efficient in getting several girls fitted! This was a first time experience for my daughter to be fitted for her first pair of pointe shoes and they made it a fun and great experience. We will be back when it is time for her next pair.

I walked in and greeted the cashier and she didnt say anything at all. I was expecting the rest of the experience to flow in the same direction. After the other customer left the cashier came over and was kind and respectful. She was willing to answer any questions and helped with so many fittings.

The staff is amazing!!! They can look at my daughter and immediately know her sizes. They are also very knowledgeable on what each studio requires in case you forget. I wish I had discovered them sooner. They make my daughter and me feel special every time!!!

I used to only get my shoes here, but after a bad experience with The Dance Shop Ive started looking elsewhere. Did not inform me that when I had a pointe shoe fitting they would charge me a $25 fitting fee if I didnt buy the shoes in the same trip. They only told me after the fitting, when I said Id have to think about it. There was no in-store notice on the wall or window and they didnt give any prior notice.Im very non-confrontational and when I later called to talk to the manager to explain that it isnt right to charge for a shoe fitting without informing the customer beforehand that it would cost money (especially since dance stores dont often charge for fittings alone) he told me that not buying the shoes after you get a fitting is like getting a haircut and deciding you dont want to pay for it. He then told me that Its basically stealing. I felt that what *they* did was stealing, since I wasnt entering into a transaction knowingly and had no choice afterward but to be charged. He told me theyd only return the charge if I came back and bought the ($65) shoes.The whole transaction was sneakily done and the manager was very condescending and rude about it. I dont believe in giving my money to shops where the manager treats you like a child when you bring a concern to their notice.

When we didnt find the ladies were awesome the minute we walked in there they went straight to what we needed then they asked if my friends daughter had a narrow foot or was it, like a like a a medium narrow or if it was just like a wide narrow to make sure and they told her if they didnt fit that she can bring them back the next day and change them there was no problem and since she was still in school she got a 10% discount they put her in the system so anytime she needed to go get some dinner she always gets a discount now as long as shes in high school or shes in the system awesome place to go had all kinds of things for dance so I recommend going to this place right off the bat I mean when I Googled jazz dance shoes near me in Google maps that was the number one place on the list so thats where I went and I do not regret it awesome place to go there Royal Treatment right off the bat I highly recommend it very much so

Staff was incredible with my 2 year old daughter. Helped her try on new dance shoes and when she got fussy they gave her a little bracelet. They were very patient and nice. They have a good selection of dance clothes and shoes. I even bought my daughter a little puzzle there.

Weve only been here twice, but both times the sales people were very kind and helpful, and low pressure. The shoes are reasonably priced (comparable to other stores, as dance shoes are just expensive by nature). Overall a pleasant shopping experience, we will be back!

Really nice employees who even though they are packed at the beginning of the year will be patient and give you something they assume you would like even if you can only describe it.

They took such good care of us. We had no idea what to get for our sons first tap shoes. They nor only measured him to get exactly the right ones but educated us about the way hell grow into his shoes and need more as he continues in dance.

Great place to get fitted for pointe shoes. Our fitter was able to look at our daughters foot and select perfect Spacers and Ouch Pouch sizes. My dancer was put into a high quality pair of pointe shoes suitable for her level, and we were able to pick up some other dance accessories. One stop shop, great selection!

Telephoned to check that they had my size in ballroom dance shoes as I didnt need a pointless drive across town, they confirmed they had my size and as they were only advertising the style I wanted on their website I went directly there only to find that they had none in my size at all. They offered me two different styles of shoe (neither of which was on their website site) and seemed surprised when I wasnt interested....They did wish me a nice day as I left on the second leg of my pointless journey after being misled by their staff...Message to the management - if you carry different stock on the website to the shop your staff need to be aware of that when someone is asking about stock availability.

I ordered pointe shoes around December and i need the for YAGP in two weeks and it February and I still don’t have them. I still love this store and the people who work there are amazing and kind I have gone to this store for at least 2 years and love how they remember who you are and they sure know how to fit pointe shoes because I am one of those people who have really weird feet and they found the perfect fit I love this store
