I paid $100 to have a pair of lace-up boots resoled. It was a mixed experience.Negative points first:-Rather than remove the welt-stitch from the previous sole, they just stitched the new sole on over it. You can see the old thread in places, and it looks messy.-On one spot, the new stitch wanders off the top of the welt and onto the side (see picture). It looks bad, and Im pretty unhappy about it. Even worse that its on the outside of the shoe, where people can see it.-There were plenty of fuzzy bits that I have to burn off. Easy enough to do myself, but I wish theyd done it for me.Positive points:-Customer service was pretty good. The shopkeeper texted me fairly regularly to keep me updated about the status.-The shop worked with me to find the sort of sole I was looking for. When we found it, they made a special order to have it delivered. They said it would be done in two weeks, and it was.-It looks like they cut new spacer blocks for my split heel. I didnt ask for it, but its well-finished and looks good.Overall: I really wish that they had repaired the stitch on my welt before returning it to me. That and the other points I mentioned leave me with the impression that this shop is serviceable, but nothing special. 3/5
I dropped off my sandals on July 3, to have the soles replaced. I was told it would be about 2 weeks, and quoted a price of $60.00.At week 4, I had heard from no one, so I called. The female? that answered the phone was rude, curt, and seemed to be put out at having to follow up on this. She initially told me that there were no shoes under my name. I told her there absolutely was, I had a receipt. She put me on hold for sometime, then came back to say They arent ready yet, we will call you when they are. And pretty much hung up. 2 weeks after this, (we are now at the SIX WEEK point), I called, as I still hadnt heard from anyone there. I was told the order was still being worked on, no other explanation. The next day, I got a text telling me the repair was completed.I went to pick them up and was again treated very curtly, short, by the man who was behind the counter. I asked why it had been 6 weeks when I was told 2-3. He had no answer, made no apologies or excuses. I was then told my total was $85.00. I asked why so much more when I was quoted 60.00 AND had to wait 6 weeks (because they obviously lost my shoes). He had no answer, no apologies yet again.I will not use this shop again. I will drive further if I have to, to get treated professionally and made to feel appreciated.
Ruined the heels on my boots. Only needed a small fill on back of one heel and they sanded and stained both heels. Completely unnecessary. The conditioning was a waste as well. I included a photo of what the boot actually should look like. As you can see the heel is layered and beautiful. Proof is right here. What would you say.
Go no place else, sharp, clean, squared away, reasonable, full service and friendly. Dont waste time going any where else.
I had my old shoes refurbished. They look great. They were ready on time and at the price quoted.
I brought a pair of Ariat dress boots to the Fort Worth south store to have them resoled and refurbished back in January. I had been using another boot repair shop on the east side of Fort Worth and I visited that shop the day before. The shop worker acted like he could care less if I did business with him again and I am very thankful for that! If it hadn’t been for his attitude I would probably never have found the Cobblestone Shoe Hospital! It is absolutely amazing how they turned a pair of 18 year old boots into a pair that are better than they were when they were new! I live about 500 miles away from the shop but I will definitely make the trip back when I need boots repaired. Also, the lady at the front desk was so friendly and kind! Thank you ma’am!!
Cobblestone did an outstanding job on my VERY expensive boots. I would strongly recommend their service.
My repair was dropped off on Monday, I was promised it would be ready by Wednesday and I would receive a text, which I did. Cobblestone’s prices have slightly increased, but I feel it is well worth it. They continue to do quality work. I am a long time customer and I am satisfied with Cobblestone’s work.
The ostrich belt was supposed to be shortened an inch and leather cut off behind the buckle. Instead an inch of the tip was removed instead off behind the buckle. A new hole that was added for the sterling buckle tip was off center preventing the screw to make connection with the piece of metal that goes into the hole. Because of this, the buckle will have to be glued on instead of securely fastened with a screw.
Great Job....my shoes look brand new.
Have been taking my boots to them for a couple years now. They look new after being reconditioned! Better than buying a new pair. Get those old shoes out of your closet and drop them off. You will be pleased when you get them back.
Shout out to this wonderful local business. They do wonderful work and are quick. I had a piece of luggage that the strap was ripped of of and they were able to repair like new in 2 days! Thanks so much.
I have always had great service and value every time I bring a pair of shoes or boots to this store. They are honest and helpful and timely.
This is by far the best cobbler in the DFW area. I have brought several high end shoes there and every time they surpass my expectations. Steve and Rae are so friendly and care about my shoes as if they were their own. You won’t go wrong if you give them a try. If you want professionalism and quality—look no further.Dr. Lisa
Excellent, friendly and professional service as always. LOVE that the Camp Bowie location does repairs in house. This makes for a much faster turn around. Thank you for repairing my daughter’s sentimental college back pack and my sentimental sandals to perfection.
A+ quality work! The “reconditioning” they do is remarkable— definitely worth the money. I have several pairs of Ecco men’s dress shoes and they’ve reconditioned them each twice. My hair stylist asked me today if I got new dress shoes for Christmas— and I told her no— I had them reconditioned at this place. They also can put new soles on any number of shoes and boots. I constantly see customers dropping off cowboy boots and expensive loafers when I’m either dropping off or picking up my dress shoes getting reconditioned.Go for the reconditioning it is worth it!The gentleman and lady at the counter are also very friendly and cordial in every dealing I’ve had with them— well done everyone. Lastly, I think I paid 18.95+ tax for 1 pair of shoes to be reconditioned in Dec.2019.
I have been going to Cobblestone Shoe Hospital for 5 or so years and with 4 sons and a husband who wear shoes hard, I am in there a lot! The folks in there are always upbeat, they are knowledgeable about repair options and the repairs are always excellent. I highly recommend Cobblestone Shoe Hospital.
A bit pricey, but worth it. Excellent job.
The shoes that were repaired came back AS GOOD AS NEW!I was MORE THAN PLEASED with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail. They even inserted shape holders in the finished product! Very friendly, personable people. I will definitely be back!
Excellent Shoe Repair! I drive all the way from Mansfield Texas to have them work on any of my shoes or luggage. They have always exceeded my expectations!
My old Frye boots had a hole worn all the way through the sole. Cobblestone replaces the soles of my boots, put new leather sock liners in, and refinished the leather. They look brand new and feel great! The work is quality and for a very reasonable price the life of my boots has been extended for years to come. I would highly recommend this cobbler!
First time patron and was well pleased with the reparations on my dress oxfords. Had spilled spaghetti sauce ALL over them, and they were able to get my shoes looking better than before I had that sauce fiasco...and close to how I remember them looking when I first purchased! Very fair price. Dont expect next-day service, which for all I now they may offer for an additional charge, but I was well pleased with the turnaround time taking into account Memorial Day was in the middle of it all. Highly recommend and will look for other shoes in my closer in need of salvaging.
My experience with Cobblestone was excellent in all respects! Both a pair of loafers ( unusual color) and Frye boots came back looking great, sooner than promised and priced reasonably. Steve, the manager, is extremely knowledgeable and personable. Will definitely return.
Great workmanship. Replaced worn leather sole/heel with rubber soles on ostrich boots - perfect! Also got the skins re-oiled - perfect. Thank you for taking good care of my boots.
This was the umpteenth time I have had these slip-ons reheeled and resoled. Cobblestone always does a nice job. The shoes come back when they say they will. The work is done neatly and professionally. Staff and management is always friendly and pleasant. I appreciate the text notifiers when the shoes are ready to walk out of the store.
Delighted with the quality of the repair. And it was finished two days earlier than promised. And I love the e-mail notifications that my order is ready to pick up. They get all my business from now on.
Cobblestone Shoe Hospital is THE BEST EVER shoe repair/restore shop that I have taken my shoes to. Steve, the Manager is always so nice & polite, such a pleasure to do business with. My shoes ALWAYS come back amazing and beyond my expectations. My experience with Cobblestone have been a 5Star plus positive all the way. Highly Recommend!!!!
Absolutely AMAZING customer service. Extremely professional and detailed customer service. I will be returning for sure! Thank you again!!!
My two favorite Italian leather work shoes have become my favorite again. Cobblestone you did an amazing job fixing up my shoes, my shoes look brand new!! I will refer you all to anyone I know that enjoys a good pair of shoes. Bless you all!
Happy to find a shoe hospital in Fort Worth. They were able to save a favorite pair of well-worn black heels which needed new soles and cleaning on top. They did a wonderful job in a minimal amount of time. Thank You!!!
This is the 2nd time coming to Cobblestone and Im very satisfied with the customer service and the quality of the show repairs they have done for me. I will definitely be doing more business with this company.Melissa
Cobblestone Shoe Hospital is aptly named. I am very hard on shoes and I constantly have to replace my heel caps. They do a wonderful job and even repair the heels when I wear them down. Give them a try!
Took my husbands boots in for new soles and much needed TLC. They had a hole in the sole, were dusty and we could have easily pitched them. Got them back and they look brand new. Husband is very happy with them. Good job. Thanks!
Great Work & Fast! We have used Cobblestone at least 5 times thus far and they have always done a great job with our boots and this most recent time they got them back a whole week sooner than expected. Very pleased and feel confident in recommending them after a handful of personal experiences to speak of.
They did a phenomenal job on my shoes in a timely and cost effective manner. I will without a doubt be a return customer. They repaired four pairs of shoes, gave them new heals, laces, refinished and re-polished them, and they look brand new! All for about $130 bucks and it only took them a few business days Highly recommend this place!
Cobblestone staff are trained experts in the art of shoe repair. They are always able to fix my shoes and give new life to my favorites. Using Cobblestone has consistently been more cost effective than buying a completely new pair of shoes. I highly recommend Cobblestone!
I brought two pair of shoes in to be reconstructed—something I’ve done a number of times at other places. The shoes came back unwearable. They are 1 to 1-1/2 sizes smaller and no amount of stretching seems to solve the problem. The soles don’t match the original style at all and give the shoes a decidedly orthopedic look. After spending a couple hundred dollars repairing these shoes, I hoped for better.
Could not be happier with the service at Cobblestone shoe repair! My dog enjoyed chewing on the heel of my boot and they repaired my shoe in less than a week! They took the time to make sure both soles/heels matched and I’m thrilled to have my boots back in working order!
Repaired a belt my father bought that’s older than I am. I didn’t think fixing a 50 year old leather belt was possible but they pulled it off, and four days faster than promised. Affordable, quality work and done with excellent customer service. Highest recommendation
I got a pair of black heels fixed and my silk white wedding shoes cleaned of grass and dirt. Both came out excellent. I will definitely keep going back.
They did not accept my $5 off coupon at the one on Camp Bowie, Fort Worth, TX location. I have been going to Cobblestone Shoe Hospital for many years.
A++++ Service. Great recondition and resole on my Frye boots. Cobblestone is friendly and first rate all the way around. Would recommend them to anyone seeking a high quality shoe service.JP in Ft. Worth
Im very pleased with the service Ive received at this location.
Cobblestone did an excellent job. The heel and toe look brand new. Im so glad to have my pumps usable again.
Im new to Fort Worth so had no preconceived notions. They did not disappoint. Great craftsmanship and friendly service.
I enjoy wearing pointed toe boots with the high heel for dress. Mine were already looking pretty worn when I took them to Cobblestone Shoe Hospital. When I picked them up they looked fabulous!
I had my Birkenstock’s resoled. It was a bit more expensive ($65) than I thought it would be but it’s my first time resoling shoes so I don’t have a reference point. But not having to throw away my shoes and having them back to almost brand new appearance was well worth the money. I would certainly go back for any other repairs I need. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Did an amazing job bringing my boots back to life. Turnaround time was good, price was good, finished product far exceeded my expectations. Id give them an extra star if I could.
I couldnt be happier with their work. They fixed a purse strap that had broken and reinforced the other side that wasnt broken. I couldnt even tell anything was wrong with either strap when they finished. I will definitely use them again. Also liked the way they emailed me when purse was ready for pickup.
I had a pair of my favorite coach flats repaired. They had come a part on the side of the shoe. They are very worn and at first I was going to just put them in the trash but decided to see if they could be fixed. Well they fixed the shoe and did and outstanding job.ThanksDeniseFort Worth, TC
Fantastic service--and fast! Appreciate the great craftsmanship...
Ive been looking for a quality shoe repair and the Cobblestone came recommended by a friend. My friend was right, this shop delivers quality service and a welcoming atmosphere. Etta, the store manager, was friendly and helpful. She even offered to fix my boots, which I was wearing, and even did it while I waited. I will undoubtedly return and recommend to my friends and family.
My dad bought me a pair of brown Justin boots when I graduated high school in 1999. I wore them out over the years to the point they were falling apart and I couldnt wear them anymore. I didnt want to trash them because they are special to me. So I had them stored for years hoping to one day get them restored so I could wear them again. After finally settling down in my new home, I came across them and google seArched a place in the dfw that could fix them. I picked cobblestone because of good reviews. I dropped them off and the lady at the counter was very nice and gave me options to choose. I asked for the bottoms to be fixed and have them re polished. She told me 2 weeks and theyd be ready. Exactly 2 weeks later they were ready as promised. I thought the price was very reasonable for something I cant really put a price tag on because they make me think of my dad. I am amazed at how well they look. Its like I just bought them brand new. I couldnt be happier. If you want a place to trust, give them a chance!
Great customer service. Fast turn around. Excellent price!
Couldn’t be happier with my boots they just resoled and reconditioned - like new but even better because they’re already broken in. They epitomize professionalism and craftsmanship. I’ve taken 4 pairs of shoes there and have never been disappointed.
I love these folk! They have been refurbishing my shoes for years. Ive been to others, but never have found as much value. Plus they are internet savvy!
I have taken two pairs of shoes here in the past month or so. Both pairs were done well! I will certainly be back even though its not close to my home. I have tried a different location and the customer service on Camp Bowie is MUCH better.
The repairs to my work shoes were great. It was especially nice to walk into a shoe repair shop that wasnt all cluttered and dirty. I highly recommend Cobblestone Shoe Hospital.
I found the staff to be very polite and personable. I also appreciated the e-mail reminder about the status of my order. I will definitely use Cobblestone Shoe again.
We have had several pairs of shoes / boots repaired by Cobblestone. They offer quality work at reasonable prices done in a timely manner. I highly reccommend Cobblestone Shoe Hospital.
I had several pairs of dress shoes resoled, reheeled and cleaned. They all came back looking like new! Their customer service is very impressive! I also like receiving an email to let me know when the shoes are ready. I wish dry cleaners would take a lesson from them!
I live in Brooklyn and spend 3-4 months of the year here in Ft Worth. I so value Cobblestone Shoe craftsmanship that I bring my shoes from Brooklyn to be repaired there, even if Im not going to wear the shoes during my visit!Im a big fan!!!
Took my daughter’s designer shoes to be repaired and last week took a suede Ugg Boot to be sewn.On both I was very pleased. Convenient, well priced and quick service.
I have been here twice and each time my shoes have been repaired at a fair price. Can not recommend them high enough.
Had a alligator belt that needing touching up - Cobblestone did a wonderful job - belt looks new!
Had three pairs of shoes that needed a 1/2 inch lift on the right shoe. Did an amazing job on them! very happy!! will be back!
They did an exceptional job stretching out one of my new shoes. They were very courteous and professional.
They did a great job replacing the very worn soles of my boots and even buffed some deep scratches at the toes as well. I shouldve taken a before an after pic, they truly revived my battered old boots!
Amazing! I tripped and fell in my favorite Louboutin pumps and scratched the leather bad. I brought them in, fearing it was a lost cause, but they fixed them and you cant even tell there was any damage! Highly recommend!
I have been very pleased with the quality of work and speed in which the work was completed. I have brought both shoes and handbags for repair. Great work and great people.Thank you.
Thanks to Cobblestone Shoe Hospital, my zip-up boots were saved for another few years . It was prompt... much earlier than initially indicated.Excellent workRick Shepherd
Cobblestone was overall a wonderful experience. Very nice and professional while restoring a favorite pair of shoes to me. Highly recommend.
The repair on my shoe was excellent. They always do a great job.
I have had several items in over the years and Ive never been disappointed. Great customer service and had repair work done not just on shoes but also on some of my purses that gave them new life!
At the time of drop off and again at pick up the staff greeted me with a smile. My boots were ready at the time they advised and the service was excellent.
I have been a customer for 8 years and have always been delighted with the results!
Put a new heel on a pair of boots and did an excellent job! Fast, friendly service. Thank you
I’m amazed how well my heels and boots were repaired and restored to practically brand new. I’m very happy with the service and all the staff has been very kind and courteous!!!
I took a pair of boots to have zipper pull put back on and have boots stretched. For $37 the zipper is repaired but can’t tell boots are stretched. I took boots back but different guy said the stretching wouldn’t work and I need to add elastic for another $180.00, which is more than the boots cost. So, I basically paid $37 to have the pull attached back to zipper which I probably could be done myself and still cannot wear the boots.
Great service and staff very friendly. Highly recommend them. They did a good job on a purse that I needed repaired.
Took in some well worn heels, and with new heel caps, reinforced heels, they look brand new. Truly recommend their timely work. JC
Did excellent work. and in a timely manner
Their work is simply unparalleled in the customer service is matching.
Yes, I recommend this store, I have always had good service, and shoes have been repaired and polished very nicely. Glad theyre in a convenient location too.
I needed a favorite pair of shoes resoled. Cobblestone did a great job. I requested a non-slip sole and thats exactly what I got.
Dropped off my leather boots for their post winter clean & polish. Picked them up... hardly recognized them! They look brand new! Thanks for always making my footware sparkle!
Brought in a pair of Full quill ostrich boots that I have had for 5 years. My dogs had destroyed the soles and chewed up the leather. They repaired and my boots look like new again. I highly suggest them over throwing out a pair of boots or shoes over minor problems. Just sent five pairs of my wife’s shoes to be worked on.
Have taken several pairs of boots for repairs and they have done a fantastic job!!! The people that work there are always so friendly and quick!
Your work is great but your employee, Steve, may have given me the worst customer service of my entire life. There was confusion as to what boot shine/service we requested. The incorrect work was completed even after I communicated to him over the phone it not be done and to return the boots to me. Steve demanded I pay for the full service that I did not request or he would not give my boots back (3 pairs of customs). I had to physically snatch them from him. Who does that?!?! I then had to argue with him for several minutes while I attempted to pay for the correct service I requested. Steve wouldnt accept any payment and told me to leave. Very sound reasoning from my new good friend Steve, who apparently, has never had anyone ever challenge his impeccable judgement and service skills. Nonetheless, you just lost another customer for life.
Been using these folks for many years & they are always reliable, provide quality results and genuinely interested in what they do. Good Company to do business with & highly recommended.
I love this place! They have fixed my boots to where they made a torn up $5 boot look like $200.00 brand new boot. Very nice and professional.
I’ve had a pair of heels and a pair of boots repaired here. They were both worn down on the sole and heel. One heel and one boot were each damaged when they removed the original sole on the heel of each. It wasn’t as noticeable on my heels so I just let it go, but I just got my Arturo Chiang boots back last week and one of the heels of the boot was so damaged that there was a very noticable hole between the heel and the sole and part of the wrapping around the heel was peeling (and I could tell that they had tried to glue the wrapping on the other side, but this was not peeling at all when I dropped them off). I was upset because I paid $55 for a resole and they sent me home with these boots that someone must have seen and knew were damaged during the repair but maybe thought that I wouldn’t say anything. I panicked because I have another pair of my boots and one of my husbands that I dropped off at the same time and now I’m worried all of our shoes will be damaged by the time we get them back. Anyway, I took the boots back the same day and the gentleman at the counter told me that they’re not responsible for any damage to the shoes during repair and that he had no way of knowing whether they were already damaged in that area when I brought them in. I told him that I knew for a fact that they weren’t damaged and that I paid to have them repaired and now they had a hole. He didn’t seem to have any intention of fixing them or resolving the issue and he told me that it didn’t matter because no one would see it when I’m walking (I didn’t say this, but it was noticeable and I could definitely see it when sitting--plus, they shouldn’t have damaged them when I trusted them to repair them and return them without further damage). Finally I asked if he could fill them with something and he told me he could fill it with glue but it would be shiny. I told him I’d like him to try and figured it would be better than a gaping hole, and it was. I also asked him to glue the wrap around the heel, which he did and it does look better. I’m glad I pushed it and that he filled them, but I’m frustrated that they returned them to me damaged in the first place and that he wasn’t helpful in resolving the issue without me pressing it.UPDATE on 01/11/18: I picked up a pair of my boots and a pair of my husbands boots--mine were being dyed and his were cracked through the sole. Both look great and we’re excited to have had a smoother experience with these two pair.
I have taken shoes to Cobblestone to be repaired several times for a variety of reasons. They always to a great job and deliver them when promised. I highly recommend them.
My boots look great and were finished when promised at the price quoted.
I️ took a vintage Mah Jong case in to see if they could repair some age and wear. It looks brand new! Such nice, friendly guys willing to work on something out of the norm! I’ve also taken shoes in and they come back looking brand new as well! Always pleased!
Wonderful job on boots and heels!! Worth 5 stars all day long! Never going anywhere else.
Fantastic service. Nice staff. Took about a week to get my boots back. Great job.
Went here to get a pair of combat boots re-soled. The boots came back with what looked like hot glue seeping out between the sole and the boot and with noticeable hole between the two. One boot also had a fingerprint in glue on the side of the boot.
