I am a disabled customer, and currently dealing with an unrelated, minor injury but which makes it even more difficult to walk. I needed pita bread for my kids who wanted to do pita pizzas for dinner, and as I dont have a car, I would have to bus or walk to the store. So, I wasnt going to be able to search around town for what we need, and given that it was the weekend, I likely wouldnt have made it out of the store in my condition before the last bus ran if I didnt know for certain I was going to a store with pita bread.I tried calling the Doller General Market, Fruit/McKinley, which is within standard walking distance from me (and which the bus could help part way as well), but I couldnt get an answer.So, I called up THIS location, thinking they would generally carry the same product. The store manager answered. She was extremely friendly and was very sympathetic to my situation. She said their location is smaller so they dont have it, however she would be happy to take down my contact information and reach out to the other store to get assistance for me.Sadly, after a half hour neither myself nor she could reach the other store by phone, so she had to text the other stores manager. Meanwhile, I kept trying to track down pita bread within a not too far bussing distance to try to find it.An hour and a half later, we still have no answer. I had called around, and the only stores who have it I would not be able to get to within the timeframe to be able to bus home. However, the manager of this location is phenomenal to go to such lengths to help a customer.

There are a good store. Very helpful 👍 on finding items Im looking for.And very well kept clean.

I like how it has the things I need at a very low price. I also like that on Saturday you can use your coupon with the receipt you got during the week. Such good savings.

Today was my first trip. Im very disappointed. The store was very unorganized. Boxes everywhere, the shelves were a mess, crowded aisles because of all the boxes, just very chaotic. That building is small so having a mess around every corner was very frustrating. I dont want to go back to this location, which is a shame- its the closest one to me and the staff seemed nice. Ive heard REALLY good things about their sales, but eh well see.

Its normally great but dont go on a Friday. Its crazy cluttered with boxes. I couldnt get through ant isles and that was frustrating. Well at least the one on Shields.

I really enjoy going to this place. And the employees are awesome and friendly. One time I went the right before the closed and I was in my truck digging for change. And one female worker was outside with me. I had asked her if I could use the bathroom to wash off my change cause it was all sticky. I did not want to be ride and hand it to her like that. So she opened the door for me and then shut it real quick. And she turned to me and said. Here I have something hold on. Then she handed me $5.00. She said I found this today and you need it more I do. Omg I was so shocked cause I need to buy dog food for my 6 hunger monsters at home. So I keep going there all the time. Cause the workers are so freaking awesome.

Busy little store!! Good for a sweet tooth attack, especially when money is tight! Bigger bags of cat & dog food are cheaper as compared to the grocery & wal-mart! Yeah, they really are cheaper than walk-mart on their pet food!!

This Dollar General is smaller than some. But the shelves are always neat and tidy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The wait at the check stand is minimal, even during Christmas.

The new Dollar General is really nice and they have all the name brand products I love..like personal items, Dove, Aussie, Clairol and cleaners, Mr Clean, Lysol, pet items, ECT..The store is super clean & organized and young male cashier is very friendly & cute too :) Ill definitely be going back for my shopping.
