Great group of guys that I dealt with and that’s why I’ll be coming out for future service. There are bike shops in South County near me but they don’t come close to the friendly atmosphere that you guys have at your shop. Yup, I drove 30 miles and will continue to do so. Jeff, Thomas, and Eddy…you guys are rock stars and I’m sure the rest of the staff is as well!

I needed a particular bicycle in a specific style, quantity 2, in a specific color and I wanted them now. Jax website showed them in stock. A call confirmed they were built and would be waiting for me. 30 minutes later I owned the bikes. Note: my local dealer did not have the bikes. Jax did! I like that their inventory is visible online. That they have great inventory, and great customer service.

Got my bike tuned up...needed the chain, rear tire and one other component replaced...the guy that helped me out decided to throw in free installation of one of the components because of the service charge from the other two. Totally rad. Come here for bike stuff!!!

I took my Aventon Level eBike for a tuneup, at first they said they did not work on ebikes that they dont sell, but then he double checked and since I needed service that was apart from the electrical, they did service it and did the Peak Performance tune up, Boy I am so impressed on the quality of work, my bike is like new again, no kidding, it feels so smooth and all the noises, squeeks, and odd riding, went away, I am so happy with my bike and I am glad I took it to this place, they are friendly, knowledgeable and professional, will bring it again when needed.Thanks Zach.

The staff at Fullerton Jax was amazing! I live right by the Long Beach store and chose to drive 30 minutes out of my way as the service is exceptional. Jeff and Brandon were extremely helpful, engaging and made me feel like my business was appreciated.

I desperately needed a specific bike rack adapter asap and their website showed that it was in stock at the Fullerton location. I called to confirm and the gentlemen on the phone was super helpful to locate the item and held it at the counter for me until I arrived.Once I got there, I noticed they had a large variety of helmets, bikes, gear, etc. And it reminded me I needed to buy a multitool! The same gentlemen then helped me pick out an apt tool and I was all set! Excellent customer service and in-stock items! I will definately be coming back!

Awesome staff! The only reason I considered a trek for my gravel bike was because Eric had been so helpful. I got my first road bike here from Eric two years ago and just got my first gravel bike. They are a great local bike shop that prioritizes their customers. I cant say enough good things about these guys.

My wife and I brought our Townies in for maintenance to Jaxs in Fullerton. It was pouring rain and we were met at the front door without having to stand in the rain. We were met by the store manager and lead technical. The both made us feel welcomed and how a bike shop be. My wife is fairly new to cycling but has ridden 3050 miles in 2 years. I am going over 53K since 2011. We enjoy this activity together.Our bikes were fixed correctly and on time. We were notified when the bikes were complete and done with the a test ride.the bike shop was extremely clean and well stocked.I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a bike, accessories or maintenance.

Not sure why my detailed review didn’t save. But I’m so willing to do it again. I was shopping for a new Townie Electra that my Wife had been wanting forever. It was sold out across the state and I stumbled across Jax Cycles. I reached out to them and they informed me that they were sold out as well, but would be getting a shipment in a few months. Fast forward to this month, the shipment finally arrived and they called me a day later, after putting the bike together. When my family and I went to go pick it up, my youngest daughter was saying how she wanted to upgrade too. So of course, the staff a Jax were very accommodating and assisted her as well. From the moment of calling them, to the moment of walking into the store, every employee that we have encountered, was very helpful. Once again, The Jax bicycle team as i like to call them, came thru bigtime!!I needed much work done, new brakes and rotors, new spoke rear wheel, new chain, new cassette, new drive train, re-silicon my tubeless tires, attach a softer seat, adjust my gear shift, and got new cranks, and i almost forgot-new teeth. The bike rides like it was first bought!

Eric, the service manager was so helpful repairing my flat tire He spent so much time also telling me about other service work I might want to consider without ever being pushy. When I mentioned maybe being interested in an electric bike, he showed me various models and when I saw the Trek Allant 9.5, I was sold. I will probably buy one in the very near future (as soon as the shop gets some in). I used to go to Jax about 7 years ago, but stopped going because of the poor customer service and general lack of interest in the customer. When I went back in about a month ago I was completely surprised with how the personality of the shop had changed into something very customer oriented and am now a fan of Jax Fullerton.

I was looking for a particular E-bike, I called several bike shops nearby where I live but none of them has it. So I decided to look further south and fond Jax in Fullerton has the exactly model and color Im looking for.I called and asked them to hold it for me while I was driven down to check it out. It was a little traffic and took me a while to get there. I was impressed as soon as I walked into Jax, it looks like a bicyclist’s Heaven, many selections of bikes and accessories, very clean and shiny floors, well organized and well spaced. So you dont need to worry about if you pull this bike out, the other bike is gonna fall down. The friendly staffs showed me different options and assisted me a test ride. I look around and fond another seminar model which i like better, so they let me test ride again and readjust the bike to fit me perfect. They worked with me with a good price on the bike plus a high end helmet which i can’t resist. I drove home with my new toys and a big smile on my face.

Went in to Jax to look at Trek road bikes. Very knowledgeable team that answered all my questions and even setup a demo for me to test. Great local bike store! They earned my business.

I bought a trek commuter 8 2018. I upgraded the cassette spent another $1,000. I rode it a few times still not happy it doesnt coast that good after upgrading. Its taken them 3 weeks to get me a drop seat post still no answer when I get my bike back. I did inquire about trading my bike for a better bike they only afford me $2,000 for a trade in thats to me is a scam. Talk about losing a huge amount of money. I payed for 2 year warranty on the bike. Im thinking thats all they will get from me. I will look elsewhere for better service. They make promises they dont honor.

I have brought my bike here to these guys since 2013 and they took great care of me. Mechanics are knowledgeable, and will do whatever it takes to serve you. Whenever I have issues, they will look over my bike and fine tune it without charging me a dime.

Their selection is pretty big compared to most other stores around the area. Pricey sure but if you bike all the time quality is important. Zac helped me on my bike and was awesome. Very knowledgeable and more then happy to answer any questions you may have.

I was recently in the market for a mountain bike. After doing a lot of research I settled on a Trek Marlin 6. I searched a bunch of local shops and narrowed it down between Bumsteads in Ontario and Jax in Fullerton. Ultimately I went in to Jax cause it was closer and I had bought a bike there like 15 years ago. After a brief conversation over the phone with the rep Cole (more on him later) who was friendly and helpful, I decided I would visit the store. Boy was I glad I went in. Not only was everyone very helpful and friendly. They seemingly welcomed my many questions with open arms. You could tell they loved what they did. So I asked if Cole was in, cause he was the first person I spoke to, and I really wanted to make sure I dealt with him since he was so great over the phone. Well come to find out hes the General Manager. It all made sense, he was a bike enthusiast and a great manager cause his team (Steven, Eric and Juan) were equally outstanding. They fit me to the right size mountain bike, explained many details, answered all my questions, and even recommended the proper accessories without ever being pushy or salesy to sell a bunch of stuff. They even matched the online price from Trek. I couldnt have been happier with the experience I had buying a mountain bike! Needless to say they won a customer for life. Cole and team went waaaaay above and beyond and I would highly recommend them to anyone! If your shopping for a bike visit Cole and Team at Jax in Fullerton or one of the many Jax throughout Southern California.

I went to Jax to check out the selection of bikes that were available. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the manager, OC who was extremely helpful! He asked a few questions like what I wanted to use the bike for, what kind of terrain Id be riding on, and what bike I had in mind overall. He then showed me a few different bikes that would fit what I was looking for, allowed me to go on a test ride, and even told me about how they can put a bike on hold for me if I wanted to shop around a bit more. I decided on putting a nice Trek bike on hold while I thought it over. Two days later I wandered back in and was once again was greeted by OC, who remembered exactly who I was! He was very understanding and helpful when I told him that I decided on a pure cycle road bike that he showed me on their website. He got all the paperwork squared away and had it shipped to the store, no questions asked! Less than a week later my bike was in and ready to go! I came in to pick it up and OC helped me out with getting my bike dialed in, adding on some insurance, and of course giving me some great advice! 10/10 amazing customer service! I had a great experience and I will not only continue to shop at Jax, but make sure to tell my friends and family to do the same!

Service was quick and greeting was good.I went there at time of visit at 1pm on Monday 9/8/14. Had my paddle fixed, everything went well except when I walk my bike out, the break strings were on loose. so I walked back in to consult the person who fixed it (not naming who it was, this is for company to look it up themselves). He immediately went into defensive mode and say he didnt touch anything and my bike was like that and said he would charge me if I wanted it fixed.A bit disappointed to walk in a person who just tries to dodge the bullet. I walked my bike there, my left paddle fell off so I had to walk while looking down so I would run my leg into the oily part of the bike. And I would know it and ask him to fix it if it was like that.All Im saying is that this company should fix their employees ethics.Beside that, bike functions very well, good bike maintenance skill, dude.

Douchey sales folks. Like vultures... Went in to shop for bikes. Already know what I wanted to look for and had time to burn. COULD NOT LOOK AT ANYTHING WITHOUT BEING PITCHED TO CONSTANTLY. Made it clear that we needed no assistance but it was like the sleeziest car dealership you could imagine.

Ive gone here a couple of times over the last few years and yesterday I picked up a bike and I had a great time picking it out. I had some family with me and we were able to try out a few bikes and ride them around the store. After we selected the bike the technicians answered all our questions and they gave us a good deal on the items I requested. Brandon helped us through most of the transaction and he and his team did a good job.Update 3-21-21 - covid restrictions are pretty intense at this store. They allow for about a 1 to 1 ratio of customers to employees in the store. So there will almost always be a line outside. They open later than they did pre covid. They had a new bike in stock that they knew nothing about and trek apparently had no info about either. The bike store down the street from them seems to handle things better so we made our purchase down there.

You should not offer rental/demo bikes if your not willing to rent them. I will never shop at Jax because you get jacked. Called in Sunday morning 7/22/18 to check on availability on rental, girl on phone said they had plenty, I did not require a reservation. When arrived tothe bike shop the Trek Fuel EX 9.7 was available, it was set up for me. But the sales reps and srevice rep kept us waiting due to not sure how to to rent the bike out. After 45 minutes of waiting they told me the bike was already rented and someones coming over to pick it, and refer me to the Yorba Linda shop. After hearing the diffetent excuses, we just end up canceling our mtb ride. You lost a sale in a rental and accesories, helmet, camelbak, since I left my gear back home. Poor represtation of Trek bikes.

Wonderful experience, the first time I called I talked to a gentleman named OC who Said he was the General Manager, I was inquiring about the Dahon Mariner D8, earlier that day I had gone to the Irvine store to look at the Dahon folding bikes. Called Fullerton store to see if they had at Mariner D8 they did not but OC said he could order it and quoted me a very nice price. My bike arrived 5 days later, since then we have ordered a second Dahon Mariner D8 from OC he is a pleasure to deal with our experience at the Fullerton store was much better than the Irvine store or the Laguna Nagell store. We now have neighbors that are going to order a bike form OC soon.
