The best shop on The Strand. It’s a mother/daughter team and so friendly. They make you feel like family. Appreciate the mask requirement even after our governor lifted the mandate. (I feel bad for the small businesses who have to deal with the anti-maskers).I always find something special here. My whole family loves Strand Brass and Christmas on The Strand!! A must when you are on the island!

***NO MASK, NO SHOPPING AT THIS PLACE... also the old lady with the blonde hair was rude, yelling at someone who coughed*** bad business here, so unprofessionalEnjoying shopping, then myself and others were told to leave because we didnt have masks. This is after the MASK MANDATE has been lifted. Really wanted an ornament since we were celebrating our anniversary and love love Christmas... NEVER will I ever shop here again. Also, WHEN ASKING BE KIND!!! The little mask police girl was rude. If you would have asked nicer, we would have stayed!

Over priced, rude employees and also YOU CANT BUY ANYTHING IF YOU DONT WEAR A MASK, they kick you out and you leave empty handed.

A very interesting shop to say the least. About 75% of the items there I have never seen elsewhere. Worth checking out for sure.

Located in the historic block of the Strand in downtown Galveston, Strand Brass is housed in a 125-year-old building that has served everything from a wholesale grocery store in 1870 to a cotton mart and later a bank. Today, you’ll be happy to find nutcrackers, ornaments, tree skirts, stockings, mats, wall art, flags, jewelry, wine glasses, Tervis tumblers, and so much more!

I love this place. The people that work there are the nicest and the store always smells great. Plenty of gift ideas.

I love this placeeeeee. I visit everytime Im in Galveston. Go look for the locally made goat milk lotion! - lime verbena is my favorite. Its awesome.

Prices could be lower, honestly. Id buy more if they were. Pleasant people to deal with- friendly staff. Nice shop for Christmas gifts.
