These guys are awesome. We bought our gear and did our open water certification with them, and they were super helpful every step of the way. Good gear prices, but stay away from the badass gear wall. Youll want to buy one of everything. Our instructors, Monica and Noah, were awesome people and extremely knowledgeable, and when one of our dives was canceled due to weather, the owner Kristen worked with our schedules, and personally took us down to complete our certifications. 10/10 top notch guys. Helpful, helpful, and helpful! My daughter is just learning how to dove and they were so helpful getting all the equipment she needed. We were shown many options but to get recommendations from diving professionals not just someone trying to sell you the most expensive item was top notch. We will be customers for life!

My 12 year old son wanted to learn to dive. After calling local places and not feeling they were the right fit, I called Texas Scuba Adventures. We live 2 hours away and it was worth the drive for the pool and lake dives. They were so kind and friendly. I even messed up and sent him on the wrong day, and they changed their schedule to fit him in since it’s a 2 hour drive. They encouraged him. They honestly wanted him to learn to dive and love the sport more than anyone. I definitely recommend them. They even took drone photos of them diving.When you want to learn to dive, find the best dive company. Texas Scuba Adventure is definitely the best.

I completed my open water certification with the guidance and patience exercised by these instructors, and I could not be happier or more excited to start my new hobby!

Purchased a mask here. As a novice snorkeler, I really didnt know some of the differences in the various mask & snorkel set ups. Kristen helped me choose the right one for my needs. Great price and service!

Good gear but bad service. Rented a complete set for a week, returned to the shop after only a few days because of boat issues. They would not do anything for early return even though the gear was way early and didn’t even touch water.

I HIGHLY recommend Texas Scuba Adventures. Kristen and Craig got me over my very real fear of being under water and allowed me to experience a whole new world that I was once to afraid to explore! They did an amazing job with my 12 year old son too! I cannot sing their praises enough!!! Definitely recommend adventuring into the underwater world with these folks! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

I needed a refresher course. It has been 20 yrs since I did my SSI open water certification. I wanted to find a NAUI school because it is more technical and my partner just got trained with that system. I was surprised to find that there were not more dive schools in Galveston. I liked this shop at first because it is a small, locally owned outfit. Kristen got back to me right away and worked with me to help address my particular situation. I enrolled in the basic open water course to get the most comprehensive refresher. The book half of the course was online and easy to do in a few sessions over a few days. Jacque led the practical half which was first done at an indoor pool followed by open water dives at a nearby lake. The shop was able to supply all the necessary gear either for rental or purchase. I am going to follow up with doing the advanced open water course and hopefully an underwater photography course in the near future.

Kristin goes above and beyond to make your experience great and I love their selection of gear, especially the spearfishing section!!
