If you are Oxygen tank/machine dependent dont use them.Our Oxygen tanks are running low. We called then found an on call number. The guy answered then hung up and sent a text cant help you until Tuesday, send me your information .What is the point in having on call if they dont want to work.? Now if the electric goes out and cant use the concentrator we are screwed.
I use this company for my patients frequently when discharging patients home from the hospital. They ALWAYS go the extra mile to meet the needs of my patients and provide delivery more quickly then most medical supply companies that I work with. They are very safety focused and will come re-teach families in the hospital or at home who are needing reassurance and support to feel comfortable with the equipment that Coastal Medical supplies to them. They have an awesome caring team who is very responsive. I appreciate how professional Larry, Katrina and Sylvia are in my business with them but still manage to be very personable. I would highly recommend them.

Needed to get my new CPAP machine cleaned for the first time since i had gotten sick and want a really good cleaning to it. I spoke with Katrina and Brandi and they they got me in as soon as i called and took care of me. This works so i can pick it up right after work and get back on schedule, fantastic!!! We worked with them for years with my dads health and needing oxygen and theyve taken care of us so now its my turn and they are doing great with me too!!!
Let me share a story; My Sister, her husband and myself drove down to Galveston to go on a cruise. We got set up in the hotel and I was connecting my concentrator as I am on oxygen 24/7 to my surprise I had forgotten the adapter to connect the hoses . After calling my oxygen supplier APRIA and getting absolutely no help from them my Sister contacted Behrens and they had the part and told us to pick it up next morning at no charge. Fantastic!Now I am assembling my concentrator to begin to fill the tanks I used for the drive down and the tubing is broken, this is a significant part as without it, I cant go on the cruise as I would have no way to fill my tanks. So we load up the equipment and drive over to see if they can help with this early the next morning. Within minutes, and with no apprehension Simon produced a replacement hose and offered it to us.My Sister tried to offer money and he politely refused and told us to have fun on the cruise. Without his help we would have had to drive me back to Dallas and my Sister and her husband would drive back to Galveston to go on the cruise.Thank you Larry and Simon for making a really bad situation into a true gift. I couldn’t have done it without you. We will leave on the cruise with full hearts and much gratitude to Behrens and it’s benevolent staff.Thank you,Murrell Masengill
I had to be in Galveston before Christmas and I needed to buy a shoulder immobilizer for a patient I was treating the next day and I called Coastal Medical and they were able to help me and the staff was very nice. I would use them again and price was reasonable.
Ive waited over a month to be shipped a replacement cpap. I shouldnt have to call repeatedly with this request. Ive had 2 other machines. The first was replaced because the heater failed. The 2nd had the same problem and it was replaced with a newer model. Third machine wont moisturize my mouth. I had another sleep study done to rule out that it wasnt my needing to be titrated down alone. I was titrated down and the problem still exists. Had excellent results with the hospitals machine and upon discharge they even put my own machine at the new settings. But because somethings wrong with it, it doesnt moisturize my mouth. My insurance paid for this machine. Its absolutely ridiculous that as a patient Im getting flat out lied to. You didnt send me ANYthing. You couldnt even pick up the damn phone and tell me anything. Thank god I was titrated down because even though I still run a risk I ran even more of a risk of sudden death when I was heavier. I hope elderly patients and those in dire situations are treated with more care than what Ive received.

I needed to replace the wheels for a wheelchair, the rubber was dry rotten. I order the wheels and was told they would be there in approximately 5-7 days. Then I asked if I wanted them to put them on or was I going to put the rubber on the wheels. I told him I would and if I could not I would bring it for them to put on. After 14 I called and was told they were not in. 1months I was still told no the wheels was not in. No one offered to check on the wheels. think if I had let them put them on the wheels would have been available.
The manager tells you one thing and then goes back on her word. They told me that a wheelchair we were renting was $150 and that the rental fees we had already paid would go toward that cost. When we went in to pay for it she would no longer honor that. I had a prescription for this wheel chair and was not supposed to be charged tax. She was not consitant with this. Would charge us one wk and not the next. The coward that owns the place obviously doesnt have the balls to deal with unhappy customers because I have left 3 messages for him in a weeks time and have yet to hear from him. I know many doctors at UTMB and PTs at Tideway and will make sure I pass on the info to NOT rent from this place!!
