Used to come here all the time… used to be the only place I did business with. Brought in a very high end hk gun for loan, was told that he would only give me $400 for a $4000 gun. Because of the market, it would not sell. Obviously this guy didn’t know what he was talking about!! Was very rude about it, even after explaining I had been a long time customer.

Way over priced on guns they only gave $200 for. I wanted at .45-70 and all they had was a Henry model for $1500. What the hell, I can get a new one for $800. Went there today to do some Christmas shopping. Started looking at jewelry and they came over the radio and said I had to put a mask on. I just had sinus surgery and have a big splint on my nose. I guess Ill go spend my money elsewhere. Ive been to a couple stores since my surgery and have not had one single person order me to put a mask on, in fact have received well wishes and get better soon most places Ive been. Its a shame they felt a need to demand I wear a mask despite a legitimate medical exception.

Minimal inventory, defective merchandise and no cash refunds only store credit. Why would I want store credit when anything is liable to be defective. Only informed of the no cash refunds after the 40 minute return trip. Disappointing for sure.

This is NOT the place you go for hidden treasures, this is the place you go if youre looking for marked down designer and extravagant jewelry. I have been a customer for many years. I check with Jason first when I need tools, outdoor equipment, and lots of other stuff. They have a great selection and have always been very fair to deal with.

This place is very picky when it comes to pawning or selling an item or items to them. They wont buy anything unless a well known expensive name is attached to it. Even then, they will offer you a fifth (1/5) of what it is worth, and when you try to negotiate, they dont even work with you on the price. They do seem to have quality items for sale in the store, but at a price that is so high, your better off buying brand new. The power tools they have for sale are damn near at retail prices. Other than that, the staff is friendly and helpful and the store is well organized and easy to navigate.

Buyers beware I went into the store to check out what they had. So i liked a 3mm franco so i asked to see it. The guy told me it was 33 grams but when I picked it up it felt more like 19 or 20. I had a 24 gram weight chain around my neck, and their chain was lighter than that. If youre buying gold here make sure they weight it before you dish out the dough.

I went out for the first time in a little while since covid struck, and really didnt go to Pawn Superstore with anything in mind. When I pulled in there were a decent amount of cars parked, its seems like everyone was checking for new inventory. I could understand why because the place looked like it had been cleaned out of regular merchandise due to all the stimulus. I give it a thumbs up because its big enough to get lost, and has plenty of different items to choose from. Im not into jewelry, but the jewelry department lots like a quarter mile. Nice people, Ill keep them in mind and follow everyones lead by checking for new inventory.

Walked in 20 minutes before closing because no other store was open and looking for a new xbox that I need for tomorrow morning so I probably would have bought whatever they had at this point but unfortunately I guess they didn’t want any money because nobody acknowledged me. Nobody even looked up from either talking to one another or from doing their closing duties so that they can leave right at 9. So to the owner of this store, you have hired a bunch of lazy workers who care more about leaving right at 9 than to get another customer. Not a customer who is asking for money, but for a customer who was just going to give it to you! So congrats, hope y’all all made it out by 9pm that y’all worked so hard at!

I used to go to you guys very often when i lived closer by. Yall were excellent for all transaction types be it a loan, sale, or purchase. Never liked that the used firearms mostly always are tagged at 5% or 10% below the price of the same gun would be new. I get the idea of working deals and flexing the price at my request which is why i always still bought and sold firearms with you guys. Fast forward to 3 years to present and over the last 3 weeks I have been back to see you guys twice the first time with a compound bow in excellent working condition just apparently too old and most recently tonight with a great electric stand-up Bass and two older watches one of them a manual wind-up watch that was still working perfectly. Sure the electric stand-up bass didnt have a brand name printed on it yeah it had minor cosmetic issues but it still function perfectly and had all of his parts and pieces. 12 times over these last few weeks I was turned away for everything I brought up to you guys. I wasnt asking for much hey I didnt even get a chance to ask for anything because I was turned away. I know that you guys make your decisions based on the fact that youre running a business but you know what both of these times I would have taken drastically less than what these items could have resold for I guarantee it. I would have taken $5 for the bow and I know you could have sold it for five times that and a $25 for a compound bow it probably would have been purchased the very next day. Here i am trying to find a way to feed myself and my dog and YES that is not your fault and not your responsibility, but you should know that you could have helped me out as i am in the position i am in. And i garauntee you would have still made both a potential 500% profit on the resale and a thrilled customer whomever got the good deal. Anyways perhaps ill use the bow to find a rabbit or squirrel or something that way I can eat hope you guys have a good night

I got it home last night and played a few games and Im in love with it! My experience shopping at American Pawn was OUTSTANDING!!! The staff is so friendly, informative and helpful, especially Jorge. He was one of many friendly faces that greeted me upon my arrival to the store. He explained the different types of smart televisions they had on hand. At the time I was just browsing for a television, but I asked him to contact me if they received any 60-70 television. Less than two weeks later my phone was ringing!!! It was Jorge informing me that he had a few televisions just in for me to view. (At a WONDERFULLY REDUCED price) My transaction was effortless as I used their 90 day layaway plan. American Pawn Superstore is a great store and is unlike any pawn store that you might have experienced. People like Art, Flipp, Gilbert and Jason are very personable, fair and honest people. They will go the extra mile to help you in any way that they can. From my perspective, the employees of this store project a caring and genuine concern for the customer. This is not by accident and I suspect that someone at the top is very humanistic and believes that people should be treated with dignity and respect. This store does that and more. Additionally, the inventory of this store is remarkable. I would say their motto should be, if you dont see something here that you need or like today, come back tomorrow! This is a fun store to shop with fair prices!!!

Saw the large billboard while passing thru town and decided to stop on by. We got out and went in with our well behaved and trained dog, after checking to see if there was a sign not allowing dogs (there wasnt). Upon entering we were told no dogs allowed (despite 100°F temp outside.) Upon turning and walking away we were told come back and see us again. No thanks.

It has good stuff.but the prices are too much on everything considering they are used stuff. Also since my last visit it seems their pricing as just gone to the top! They used to have pretty decent prices. Big selection of hunting stuff and guns. Plenty of golf stuff.

I took in a Rolex that my father gave me 25+ years ago. They took it to the back and came back out with a watch that had been taken apart and were incredibly rude as they pointed out the serial numbers had been rubbed off which is impossible since its been on my wrist for over 20 years. They screwed up the clasp and it has since fallen apart. It hasnt kept time properly since that day either. and strangely enough the scratch I made in it with my tooth 15 years ago has suddenly vanished. I took it back to have them fix the clasp they screwed up and once again I was met with apathy at best.. If you go there id advise you to not let your belongings out of sight !!!

Gabriel sold a generator out from under me when I tried to prepay for it he said it wasnt necessary. I drive over an hour here and he tells me they sold it and they didnt have anything close to make it right. Awful awful way to run a business and Gabriel needs something done because that was straight up Bs.

I called to get a price of how much i could get for my tv as a loan. The young lady that took my call asked for the brand and model number and she did her research came back with an offer of $300.00up to $350 on a loan. I will take my tv To them tomorrow .. Need better training took an item there to get a loan and was told that it was fake after I showed them the serial number and I stated that I had purchased this they still denied my loan due to my appearance went to a pawn shop 2 miles down the street literally and they gave me my loan no questions asked the manager Cesar needs to go back to training to be able to be able to identify whats real and whats fake and not to profile customers by their appearance. This place is crooked as hell, had a pushmower bought as a gift for Christmas because we bought a new house with a yard and didnt have one yet. Pulled it out for the first time and got it ready to go. Cranked it up and LITERALLY mowed for 20 minutes before dying. Tried restarting it and the mower has lost compression. Now the best deal they can offer is a, and I quote a heck of a deal on another one............im thinking not. Will not darken that door way again

My experience today wasnt good. Tried to sell a tv its just been sittin around. Unbothered. After the rep turned it on checked it out she claims theres a dark spot at the bottom which usually means the screen is goin out. I think not the settings were dim on the tv..ive taken many tvs in to this location and ive always seen them adjust the settings and stuff. So i took my tv and left. Thanks!

If youre trying to sell musical equipment, venture somewhere else. Better luck online, like Craigslist, or through the hassle of Guitar Center. Youll be taken as a fool with the low-balling prices they offer on high end, great condition equipment. Tried to sell a 4x12 speaker cab that originally cost $300, they offered $50 at most like i was an idiot. Of course, their deals on most other stuff is usually fair, music equipment, not so much.

I have only been there twice, the first time about a month ago I went to pawn my expensive professional hand-made flute so that I could make a car payment... Russell was the one that I pawned it to, and he made such a horrible experience for me SO much better. He is kind, very respectful, and genuine. I returned yesterday to pick up my flute, and I waited to make sure I got Russell again, even though others were open at the time. Not only is he gorgeous, Russell gives great customer service! This guy definitely rocks!! I say give him a raise! ;]

This is quite possibly the biggest pawn shop Ive ever seen, its almost a pawn warehouse! They have a huge selection of practically everything (especially video games) and Ive always found their prices and sales people to be the best around. Its a bit out of the way, but whenever Im in the area I always make sure to stop by.

American Pawn is as crooked as they get. You don’t get fair market for anything you take them. If your one day late on your payment, forget your valuables. Their staff has removed them, tells you it sold and I hear the staff divides up the expensive items for themselves. Most pawn shops call you when you item or payment is coming due. These crooks never do or will.

Love the help they offer fast and helpful make u feel welcome and they are always willing to answer all ur questions and u can always work out a deal with them

Bought a ring as a surprise Valentines gift. The ring was really big and I didnt know my girlfriends size. So the sales lady told me she could size it for free to a size 7 which is average she said, so I said ok. Well it didnt fit. My girlfriend is a size 7 1/2. So when I took it back to get it sized, she charged me because she said they charge to upsize it but not to downsize. So had she told me that from the get go, I wouldnt have let her make it smaller till I knew my girlfriends size. Ugh! Not a happy customer.

Outstanding customer service, but be careful when buying. Take pictures of all items before walking out of store. I bought an xbox one from here, got home and the controller looked like it had been chewed up by a dog. When i took it back the very next day to exchange it they acted like it was my dog that chewed it up. I havent owned a dog in over 10 years, with a lease agreement to prove it. So check all items and take pictures if theres any kind of damage, otherwise they may claim it wasnt like that when they sold it to you. I havent shopped here since, because honestly, it was disrespectful to say the least and it felt like they were trying to hussle me.
