My fiance and I are soon to be first time home buyers. We have been nervous about the searching and buying process due to us being newbies. We stopped by yesterday afternoon after I read good reviews online. We were automatically greeted and told we could view the onsite models at our own pace without any pressure from a sales person behind us. What a relief! We discovered a model that we both really loved and went to the building center to speak to a employee. Mr. Barbour was a breeze to talk to and a nice guy. He explained everything in great detail and was open to questions any time even after we left with paperwork. We were blown away by the affordable prices with all the set up included in the home delivery with the current extreme increases in housing materials market. Every employee that was currently working at that time that we came across were polite and good natured. We look forward to continue working with Mr. Barbour as we continue on the road to owning our dream home.

Not much to tell. Easy to work with but prices are high.

Very friendly however I was given such a run around by the salesman and flat lied to by him. I was pretty much forced to take what he wanted me to because of my situation. I have been in my place for 6months now and still after several emails and phone calls I have many cracks in the walls . At this time I would not recommend doing business here I was also told there would be extra money left and I to this day even after talking to the owner have not heard anything about the money nor the repairs. I do have 10 gallons of paint that was left so I guess I’ll have to fix things myself.

Great staff, no pressure on getting info and you can walk through the homes at your own pace.

Beware of this company. Besides the septic tank installer, plumbing, and electrical who did good work. The setup process was very sloppy. From the bad shingle installation, sloppy foundation brickwork, and numerous cosmetic issues inside and outside of the home by the trim guy whos the so called best in the business. I Cannot telll!!. Please current and future customers take my advice DO NOT CLOSE ON YOUR LOAN UNTIL YOU HAVE A INDEPENDENT HOME INSPECTOR DO A INSPECTION OF THE HOUSE INSIDE AND OUT. I have corrected most of the problems on my own, because I just will not allow anyone associated with this company on my property.

With the home selection. They have made it to our top 2 to buy a house from.Hopefully the purchase experience is as good as the service weve had so far.

I feel like I got ripped off by Greenfield Housing Center. I bought a lot model and got $1500 off. You get more off for cars when you buy a lot model. I later found out that at least one person had $10,000 taken off a lot model. I took it, even though I was very unhappy, because my living conditions at the time were horrendous and I needed to get into someplace quickly. There were some issues that I called the manufacturer to fix. The person who came out said he was very surprised at the way it was installed. He went around for over an hour, fixing things that should have been done at installation. Luckily, he didnt charge me. Now I find out that the pipes under my home arent insulated. Ive called plumbers for quotes for insulating them and every one has said it should have been done at installation. Now its going to cost me $500 to get it done. Im not calling Greenfield about it because it always seemed like a battle with the owner to get anything extra done. The reason I gave them 2 stars and not just 1 is because the saleperson who sold me my home was nice.7/25/2019. I dont bother checking my old reviews so I just saw the response from the owner. There was more than one person from Champion who came out. He obviously did not speak with him. The rest isnt worth arguing over but I would like to change one thing. The salesperson was not nice. She was AWESOME! She did everything she could to make buying this house a good experience. She was the only reason that I stuck with Greenfield and bought the house. I wrote the original review after the contractor from Champion left. I was angry and should have waited to post. The only thing different would have been about Renee and what a great person she is.

You have an employee there named renee who does nothing but deny ppl and try to steal the land they seek to purchase its unfair and rude to have a person who claims they wanna help go and try to take your plot its very rude and I wish you would do something about that she sucks but I expect white folks to do that
