I live in the St Louis area but decided to drive to Kentucky to get my 2020 Bass Cat Pantera Classic from Mark Miller Marine based on their reviews. Turns out it was well worth the drive. Kathy handled all the financing and paperwork, warranty info, sales tax, etc. She was very easy to work with and made the purchase part so easy. She explained everything throughout the process so there were no surprises.The boat itself is beautiful and runs like a dream. It was stored indoors so there was no weather wear or sun damage as I did purchase this in July 2020. There were a couple minor things that needed to be replaced but I had no problems doing that. I didnt have to go back to Kentucky for anything as they handled everything on my behalf. Mark and his team were very professional and helpful. They helped us with everything and resolved all items easily and promptly.We paid a fair price and have gotten excellent service. I would highly recommend Mark Miller Marine to anyone considering purchasing a Bass Cat. They were very knowledgeable and made sure we were happy with our purchase. Great employees all around at the front desk and in service. Had engine serviced, humminbird units installed, and also had moonlights installed. Work looked professional and was done fast! Highly recommend giving them a shot. Customer for life as far as Im concerned!
This is the worst place for repair in my opinion!My boat sat for a couple of years, so I took it to Miller Marine to Service.I asked them to drain all gas and oil and to flush all lines.They indeed drained the gas. I looked at the oil before I left and said they asked why they didnt drain the oil and the man said it didnt need to be done....mind you it sat for a couple of years!!!I took it to gas up and then launched it.It ran great for about 5 to 7 minutes, then it did a sudden slow down almost throwing my passenger and myself to the floor of the boat.We pumped the oil ball to make sure it was getting oil. It started running again and thenIt did the same thing and died all of a sudden!We had to be towed back in.We loaded boat back up and returned to Miller Marine, which was closed later Saturday afternoon, so we left it.I called them the following Monday and advised what had happened. They said they would check it out.Miller Marine called me to advise two pistons in the Motor had blown.I advised I thought it was due to them not changing the oil as I requested and the old oil was probably clumped and could get to engine.They said no it was just BAD LUCK and this happend to Johnson Motors often.They said there was nothing they could do!!!!????We have never had any problem with this motor. We bought it brand new, so we wouldnt!!!After sitting for a couple of years....anyone with any common sense would know that yes the oil DID NEED TO BE CHANGED!!!I see that this is Miller Marines neglect...especially because I specifically told them to drain all gas and oil, and to flush all lines...which they obviously didnt flush lines either.Now I have a boat that sits as a yard ornament due to their neglect!!!!I either need to buy a new motor or rebuild the two pistons which I can not afford to do either!!!I was having it serviced and had purchased a slip on the lake so I could sell my boat and show that it ran great!Thankfully the Marina returned my slip fee once I explained what had happened.Miller Marine took my money to service my boat but did not service it....obviously!!!!Not sure if they took advantage because I am a female??? But to tell me the oil didnt need to be changed is plain and simple NEGLECT!Anyone considering them to service your boat or to do any repairs may want to re-think this!!!!!
