Wonderful service and incredible talent! We picked up our daughters birthday cake for her fourth birthday and it was a fantastic experience. The macaroons work great. We will definitely be back.

We got this small cake for our wedding to cut. It tasted and looked amazing!

The cake was Devine, highly recommend you to try their cakes. We stopped here just after they opened at 9am or 9:30 am I forget which...the Female whom came from the back to wait on us, she wasn’t that pleasant..which I got the feeling she’s the Owner or manager ....it was very obvious she was busy making cakes in the back, but she mustered up enough patience to wait on us, even though we got the feeling from her body language and tone, we were causing her to fall behind, out of no fault of our own, even though we were vocal about not keeping her too long, trying to be kind and understanding. She seemed slightly annoyed. Not sure how that works with other customers, but we won’t go back again.. even though we recommend their cakes. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh, We spent $50 on a six in cake and a dozen macarons.

We ordered our wedding cake from Monzù and received the wrong flavor. Extremely disappointed and will no longer be giving them our business.

The macarons are absolutely fantastic here. Theyre my little treat. Just wish they werent so pricey, but I know a lot of effort goes in.

Monzu provided cakes for our wedding they were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Their flavor offerings are out of this world cool and there is definitely something for everyone. They are a must stop when we are in town for their macaroons. Please choose Monzu for your wedding and I guarantee you will not be sad groom.

Both cakes from Monzu Bakery were amazing! We had a wonderful birch tree wedding cake with layers of grasshopper & cherry lemonade and a groom’s golf ball cake that was red velvet. Everyone raved over how great it was! They were truly fabulous cakes! Highly recommended!

This place is great. I love ordering cakes from here. Jennifer is great to deal with..although I emailed a couple weeks ago and have not heard back. I will be ordering my cake from somewhere else this year.

I wanted to love this bakery but the customer service has disappointed on multiple occasions. We planned to have Monzu for our wedding cake, but each time I have called or met with them, they seem flustered and just admitted to us they were overbooked on our wedding date. I have felt as though we were treated like an inconvenience from the moment we picked up cake samples to when they forgot about our zoom meeting and now have no recollection that we booked them for our wedding. I unfortunately would not recommend based on their customer service.

Wonderful to work with! They took my husbands vision for our wedding cake and made it a reality. Not only was the cake BEAUTIFUL, but all of the desserts were delicious! They were all gone and we even ordered more than we thought we needed! Everyone raved about how yummy they were. Even my gluten free, dairy free cupcakes were GONE and had people thrilled. One guest even ate one not realizing that it was a lame cupcake and said it was one of the best cupcakes he had even had. As someone with dietary restrictions, it is rare that I enjoy cupcakes that much! I would highly recommend using Monzú.

My wife and I loved working with Monzú for our wedding cake. We contacted them ahead of our first visit and they prepared several cake samples for us to try. Upon our arrival at Monzú for our tasting, they were ready with our samples and led us through the cake selection process. They worked with us to find a gorgeous cake design that fit our budget perfectly. We chose a cake with three different cake flavors to ensure our guests could find something they liked. On our wedding day, the cake arrived and was perfectly prepared. It was beautiful and delicious. We would definitely work with Monzú again.

I emailed to inquire about a round celebration cake for a holiday party. I received a response from Jennifer pretty soon after I emailed and she agreed to make the cake for me. I told her it didnt need to be elaborate in design, just something winter/holiday related. She told me the price and asked when I wish to pick it up.Fast forward to picking up the cake......WOW! The cake was beautiful! It was a large round layer cake with white icing, decorated with beautiful fresh berries and white chocolate enhancements; candy canes, snow flakes, snow people. I was so happy with how it looked!The party guests were so impressed with this cake. I was asked by just about everyone where I bought the cake from. It was also delicious.I wouldnt hesitate to order from here again. I was very happy with the cake and service I received.

I ordered a wedding cake. Was not what I asked for. Had yellow roses and pink I ordered white and pink. Refused let us pick up the cake. They said it would buckle in the cooler of the restaurant because of the humidity. We had to pay for delivery. The cake buckled and bubbled because they placed it in the sun. I called to let them know of the issues. Nobody called me back. For 300 dollars that I paid I was extremely disappointed. Would not recommend this bakery

Random stop for cupcakes to share with co-workers based on recommendation, purchased 24 of the 28 mini cupcakes available. Wasnt feeling confident with the purchase because of the St. Pattys decoration theme but made the $30 purchase. Husband tried one, couldnt finish it. I tried one, couldnt eat it. Frosting was a solid glob that slid off the mini cupcake, cake was dry and flavorless.

Great job on our gluten and dairy free wedding cake! It looked beautiful and tasted absolutely delicious. Jennifer has great communication and responded quickly to my questions.

This place smells like heaven! Its an adorable shop that has a great atmosphere. We stopped there for the trick or treating that was going on downtown today and the cookies that were given were devoured by the children. My youngest didnt want to let go of her cookie and held on tight to it the whole walk (at least till her fingers got cold but she still didnt wanna let it outta her sight). I have not purchased from there so I dont know the prices but they are certainly child taste-tested & approved.

Bad customer service. The lady who works the front desk is very unhelpful. Cake looked good and tasted ok.

Went to grab a byte after checking high ratings on Google. Tried mini cakes(their version of slice cake), delicious and quality is top notch. Only downside is 70% of the cake is frosting. I wish there is some more cake in cake. 😃

Wow! Everything we got, (and we got A LOT) was fantastic. The frosting was creamy and not too sweet and the macarons were unique and flavorful.

They can certainly design beautiful cakes. The little individual one I had was beautiful but flavor was lacking. Ive had cake from there before and again it looked gorgeous but not great flavor.

My sister and her daughter used this bakery for the baby shower yesterday. There was a small layer cake with three different cakes: chocolate, white, red velvet. Dear god in heaven: This cake was to die for! There was cream cheese frosting in the center of two of them and in the vanilla a very light lemony custard. The butter cream over all seemed to have a hint of almond. Ive always gone to a Russian bakery in Madison where I live, but these layers were by far the best cake in the world!!

Wanted to support a small local business for mothers day. Quite possibly the worst cake Ive ever had. The chocolate cupcakes were dry, tasted old and didnt have any chocolate flavor. Had a mini cake and it was over priced for a lot of frosting and flavor was just ok. The red velvet was the only one I thought was edible. Would not return. Disappointed Mom.

Look for their fare at the increasingly popular Pawffee Shop in Appleton.As for the bakery in Green Bay, I think Ive just had their delicious birthday macaroons and shared one of their amazing cakes. Hanging around Monzu is bad for your waistline, but fantastic for your taste buds.

We used Monzu Bakery for our Wedding in Door County. We really wanted cake pops and they were the only bakery I could find that made them in large quantities. There were numerous flavors to choose from and they were all delicious! We choose Cherry Cordial and Cookies and Cream. All our guests loved them! We also had a small cake to go along with the Cake Pops. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly, prompt, and attentive to our needs. We had a slight issue with the weather and delivery (it was unseasonably hot for September) and the Cake Pops did not hold up on the sticks during delivery. The Bakery was VERY accommodating with the issue and refunded a portion of our bill to compensate. They were amazing! I would highly recommend! Great staff and treats!

Beautiful cake for my wedding and the taste was to die for !!

My husband ordered me a birthday cake last month and when he went to go pick it up he had to wait for an hour because it wasn’t even decorated yet. It definitely seemed rushed/last minute because some areas of the design were smeared. It was chocolate fondant with vanilla cake. The vanilla cake was very dry and flavorless. He ate his piece, I managed a few bites and we threw the rest away.

I ordered a cake from Monzu for my daughters baptism. Everything was wonderful. I originally sent an email and received a reply answering my questions in a reasonable time. I was given suggestions to help me order the correct size cake with appropriate decoration. The cake was ready when they said it would be and was absolutely delicious! It tasted as classy as it looked!

We had a wonderful experience working with Jenn and our wedding cake was delicious! Six years later, friends & family still mention how great the cake was. I love that they make anniversary cakes that look like your wedding cake. Getting one each year has become a fun tradition!

Very unhappy with both customer service and quality of the cake. My fiance and I contacted Monzu for a wedding cake consultation per the bakerys instructions. We received an email saying our request was rejected due to not having a large enough wedding...instead of listening to our design ideas and flavor preferences, we were told to buy cakes to take home and taste and then we can get in touch with them. In other words, youre special day is not worth our time and doesnt deserve the light of day. Im not sure why they would assume that even though were having a smaller wedding that our cake wouldnt result in a profit. They assumed we werent having a super elaborate expensive cake. Theyve missed out on a significant sales opportunity...Furthermore, I was craving a sweet treat and decided to stop in a few weeks later just out of curiosity. I got a small java cake and it was disgusting. About 80% of the cake was frosting and the cake itself was somewhat crumbly and bubbly (like the recipe had too much egg). Hope this review helps any prospective wedding couples.

Great food and a helpful staff. They are dedicated to their job and try to make everything everyone asks for.Monzu Bakery feels a lot more highend then it is which is great. You know you are getting something that not only looks great but tastes great two.I usually have a specialty coffee and a cinnamon bun. The scones are outstanding and filling.I would highly suggest that you visit the bakery once for coffee and a snack.

There cakes and other various desserts look pretty good but they also come at a decent cost. I personally do not really care for their food. I find that the frosting isnt great and they used it on almost everything

Not impressed. First time placing an order, sent picture of cookies I was interested in on Pinterest, Jennifer said they could do them for $20 a dozen. It was volleyball themed, jersey with the girls numbers and names on them and another dozen of a volleyball. The jerseys were mediocre at best. They were tiny. I was all pumped to give these to the girls on my daughters team to celebrate her birthday, big disappointment and for the cost of them it is laughable honestly. I am embarrassed to hand them out. They have not been eaten yet so hopefully they are at least tasty.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! TERRIBLE CAKES !I had an tasting appointment with them this past week. I arrived to my appointment was greeted had me sit down and said someone would be out in a bit. Cashier came out with the 4 flavors i had requested. ALL 4 tastings were HOT!! Frosting was all amaretto frosting that was melted ! there was no way of distinguishing each flavor. We finish tasting our flavors in 10-15 min and yet nobody had come out to talk to us ! we waited a bit longer and I finally went up to the cashier told her how the cakes were hot and all she said was oh sorry. I asked if someone would come talk to us and all she said was oh sorry we are short staffed that when I told her she shouldnt have booked our tasting if they were short staffed and no one was going to walk us through the tasting or give us any information. I told her I was going to pay for the tasting and she said ok charged me FULL PRICE FOR EACH and didnt even do anything to keep me as a customer or apologize because nobody took our appointment ! Terrible please save your self a trip and a stomachache as the cakes were Terrible!

As amazing as it always is! Everything looked beautiful, exactly how I had asked, and tasted even better. We ordered 150 cupcakes for our 115 guests, and we had less than 15 left over by the end of the night. The amount of people that were telling me, and are still telling me, about how great they tasted and how they were the best cupcake they have ever had is overwhelming. Even people that dont like cake or sweets thoroughly enjoyed these cupcakes. Flavors we got were Carrot Cream Cheese, White soaked in Passion Fruit Rum with Passion Fruit Buttercream, and Chocolate Mint. Everyone there was so helpful during the entire process! Thank you for making everything so easy!

Went to order a custom Vegas Casino themed cake. About a week later got a cake exactly like I pictured. Pricing is resonable. Would def. reccomend this place for custom cakes. They also have little sweets and goodies..but I havent tried them yet.

After a six week wait for a wedding consult and cake tasting we were treated like an interruption and left alone. The air of superiority when you enter the little bakery is swiftly recognized as undeserved upon tasting the sub-par cupcakes they serve in a plastic cup for $5 a piece. Meanwhile in their display case I could’ve paid $2 more to eat an actual mini cake to my disappointment in the comfort of my own home months earlier. Even if the product was above average the non-existent and down right rude customer service leaves a horrible taste in your mouth. Save your time and skip this spot- the hype over Monzu was not validated in my opinion.

My fiance and I went to Monzu on a Sunday morning for a cake tasting for our upcoming wedding. We had both brought our moms along to share in the experience. When we got there, the person working behind the counter told us to have a seat and Jenn would be out shortly. My fiances mom apparently sat in HER seat and was very rudely asked to move to the other end of the table. She never introduced herself or asked us who we brought along with us for our cake tasting. She sat down and starting scribbling notes while we all sat there in awkward silence. Finally, she told us to dig in to our cake samples. She never explained the process of baking a wedding cake or what the flavors each where. My fiance cut the sample cakes for all of us to taste and again, we sat there in silence while we ate each. On top of that, the cake tasted awful! It was so dense and dry that you needed a ton of water to wash it down. Furthermore, the thick layer of frosting in the middle was so sweet, I had an instant headache. Jenns designs are beautiful, but even if the cake did taste good, her poor attitude and lack of professionalism left such a sour taste in our mouths that we wouldnt have used her services. I would never recommend coming here for your cake under any circumstance unless you want to be treated like dirt.

If you are looking for some of the BEST macarons and custom cakes, then Monzu is the place to go! Monzu makes our son’s birthday cake every year and our friends and family rave on and on about the cake from the details of the decorating to how amazing the flavors are - Monzu cakes never disappoint! And we ALWAYS get macarons when we stop in the bakery - love the variety and that there are so many delicious choices! We will definitely be back!

I will only get my cakes from here. I have gotten them for my wedding, ppls birthdays and just go to get a small cake to enjoy myself. I dont like sweets... but they are so great I cant stop myself. 110% worth the $ for them.

We went in for a wedding cake tasting. We were seated and given the cake samples as the owner was busy with another table, totally fine! We go through, and wait about 20 minutes when finally a woman comes up and says we need to move to the other table the owner is ready, also fine. The owner walks up, does not introduction or ask us how we are -nothing, just says “Oh sorry, that other group was SO indecisive” instead of just saying she was busy. Don’t blame other customers if you want business! She then asked me what my dress was like, color etc, IN FRONT OF MY FIANCÉ. I mean what does my dress color have to do with our wedding cake? Wedding colors sure, but my dress? Come on! So then she searches “wedding dress in moscato” on her iPad and starts showing me dresses asking if that’s it. HELLO MY FIANCÉ IS NEXT TO ME CAN YOU NOT? I don’t want him to know anything about it! So i whisper to her and show her and she still said more about it! The color of my wedding dress doesn’t have to deal with my cake! She then talked to me so rudely, like I was a child because we talked about saving a piece for our One Year anniversary. She says it’s stupid and nobody should do that but I can pay them every year for a small cake. She also was very pushy with fondant when we said we wanted buttercream. She even said everyone just “picks it off anyway” but it’s much more expensive. She never once asked us if we liked any of the samples and just wanted to talk money. When she finally asked the date she said they were so busy with that date we should put money down, only to pull up an open date on their calendar. Overall very turned off from they way they do business and would not recommend them.

They made our wedding cake back in 2014 it was reasonably priced, beautiful and delicious.My wife also and I like to celebrate big events in our lives by going in and getting their Mini Cakes.

Went in hoping to order a birthday cake and cake pops. The staff was disinterested and I couldnt help but get the feeling that I was some sort of inconvenience. I was hoping to become a loyal customer but it seemed they didnt agree. Find a bakery/cake shop that actually wants you as a customer.

This is our family go to place for Birthday Cakes. Life is short. Eat Good Cake. Go to Monzus. The buttercream frosting is rich and I usually leave a little/lot behind on my plate because I tend to be a cake person vs frosting person. The CAKE is lovely; moist, light, and yum! Because I am more of a cake person than frosting- we get the larger 6 round birthday cake. A few mini cakes can be fun- but you get less cake and extra frosting, so thats not my usual go to.

I went there a little over a month ago tryed a cup cake omg is was so good also delicious and i order a cake of a castle for daughter quinceanera cake then the will be the master pice cake for my daughter quinceanera we will have cake filled with peaches & pink champagne in it they will do and i know the will be beautiful!! also delicious as well i want my daughter to have a unique cake design because she my princess and also the bakery will deliver it too !!

Green Bays best little bakery on Broadway. I had no hesitations or regrets at getting my wedding cake from here. Their service is really outstanding.

Monzu officially saved my butt! I ordered some cupcakes as a surprise for my wife and had them delivered by Food Dudes. Like a doofus I had left my billing address as the delivery location instead of sending them to my wifes work. Because they couldnt get in touch with me (where I work has no cell reception) they left the cup cakes on my front stoop. It was over 80 degrees and they sat for 4 hours before my wife came home. First thing she did was call Monzus (the cup cakes still looked ok) and they warned her not to eat them as the cream and butter in the cakes may no longer be ok for consumption. They then offered to replace them for us if we brought them in.At no point was any of this incident their fault or caused by something on their end and they still replaced them. I cannot tell you how much this made me happy. This was an attempt by me to help my wife through a really tough week and when I found out the cup cakes were sitting in the sun for hours and when I found out I was crushed. Monzus is full of wonderful people and the cakes match their dedication.Get all your cakes here. If something goes wrong these are the type of people you want helping you with it.

What an amazing cake for my daughter!

This is tough to write because we truly had a beautiful day but just a difficult time with this particular vendor. Working with Monzu was difficult from the beginning. We decided early on that we wanted to go with them based on reviews and friends experiences. We were canceled on for our cake tasting multiple times, including once during the week that we were scheduled. If we lived in town, we would have been happy to be flexible but this really complicated wedding planning for us. Once we finally got the tasting in, we had difficulty communicating with the staff. Multiple messages (email, phone) went unreturned. Finally, we were informed that one of the staff was having a medical emergency. Again, we can certainly understand when emergencies come up but the communication was so poor and at times unprofessional (e.g., getting my name wrong; complaining about my mother, who was trying to meet with them in person since I wasnt getting responses, to me). We ended up having some difficulty communicating right up until the wedding, which I understand may be due to the medical emergency, but I also think a business needs to be able to function when these things come up. The day of our wedding, the cake was the wrong flavor and the flowers we wanted were not on the cake. Our florist acknowledged that he forgot about this but seemed surprised that no one from Monzu had contacted him. I dont hold Monzu accountable for this by any means but I just think they made little effort to go above and beyond when a situation called for it. My mom contacted Monzu and Jenn agreed to give a partial refund. Jenn never contacted us to apologize, which again, in my opinion is unprofessional.
