Brandy and Brian are top notch. Can never say enough good things about the service and sales here. If you see me in a boat without there sticker on it, report a kidnapping and send help. Lol. Will definitely buy here again and recommend you buy from them also.

My husband and I bought a new Tidewater bay boat from Coastal Marine a few weeks ago. Mack was really helpful with helping us narrow down our options. I really like how Coastal Marine allows the customer to customize electronics, sound system, etc to suit their needs, as opposed to decking out the boat with the best and biggest of everything and then some (like some of the other dealers in the area). Anthony, the owner/mechanic, has been awesome, too. We had a small issue with the steering (manufacturers error) and Anthony was willing to drop what he was doing to make it right. Cant say enough good things.

I had a pretty terrible experience with Coastal Marine. I was told that a 15 year old boat had 125 hrs on the motor, however there was no hour meter to verify the hours. First, over the phone, the salesman told me that the motor didnt have a computer, and could not be checked with a diagnostics kit. When I corrected him and told him he was talking about the wrong motor, he said he didnt run diagnostics because hes not a Mercury dealer and doesnt have the software.I drive 3-1/2 hrs, check for the boat in hand, to the dealership first thing the next morning to see the boat in person. After a thorough inspection the only remaining thing needed was some verification on the engine. When I questioned him about where he got the hour number for the motor he told me he had someone come and run diagnostics on the motor (after previously telling me he didnt) but didnt get the printout. When asked if the person who ran the diagnostics could come do it again we were told he was out of town. After hearing that, I was insistent on a sea trial. We were denied a sea trial for the boat even with offering to put down a deposit.Needless to say I didnt end up buying the boat.This is one of several examples of complete dishonesty I witnessed while trying to work with them on this boat. Unfortunately for the dealer he was lying to a PhD in Naval Architecture who grew up working in his grandfathers boat dealership. Also my father, who was with me, has been working on outboards for 40 years.Just in general, the guy was a jerk. If you are dealing with this dealership on a used boat, I strongly suggest you do your research before going in and insist on verification of everything you are told about the boat.
