A few weeks back I was having some issues with a build of mine not cycling so I took it over to Defence Solutions for the once over check up. It was my first real “from scratch” build so I made a couple errors which not only did they identify and fix (for a very fair price), but they took the time to explain to me where I had made the mistakes. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome and they treated me like a longtime friend/family. We talked for what seemed to be an hour with me asking questions and them sharing their knowledge and expertise, and they even let me tinker around with some of their builds. The systems they build and refine are some of the best feeling rifle systems I’ve ever held. Super friendly, extremely professional, top-tier work. Since then I have called them here and there with random questions and each time they sound excited to talk shop with me and help guide me in the right direction. They also have a great selection of parts and gear and everything I used to have to order online or go search for. These guys are great and I’m lucky to have found them.

I have worked with many gunsmiths over the past 30 years and find most of them to be good but not excellent. One of their problems is that they don’t listen to what you really want done. Is it because they think you don’t think you really know what you want or do you want something different and they can’t do it, you see. What you must remember is that most gunsmiths are repairman and not true gunsmiths.At Defence Solutions you have an excellent gunsmith. A family that wants to do it right and will give you whatever guidance that you feel is necessary to make you happy. And they do not gouge you because there is nothing worse than paying for something that sucks. We put too much money in our equipment to just throw it away on a bad smith.

Had a steel case shell severely lodged in my barrel tried hammering it out for 4 hours until eventually my cleaning rod broke off and also got stuck. Shirvan and his son saved my barrel and it was cheaper than buying a new one and having it installed. Service was great. I found Defence Solutions when I went on a search for another gunsmith after I had a bad experience with another gunsmith doing some work for me. I went on an immediate search in the parking lot but was drawn to Defence Solutions from the reviews I read.I called spoke with Shirvan and immediately felt assured that I had the right company. Understanding, at the time of the call I was upset and started explaining my disappointment with the other gunsmith. He was patient and empathetic to my situation. What stood out most for me was he never bashed the other gunsmith. He in detail explained how his company operate and assured me I would be satisfied with their service. Shirvan was being a little modest about the level of service they offer. From my first face to face consultation with him and his wife it solidified for me I had the right place. Not only were they super nice people but genuine felt like I knew them forever.In addition to having standout customer service their overall knowledge in the field of firearms and Gunsmith is 5 stars. Shirvan Went above and beyond when I brought in my colt 1911. I mentioned to him that I worked around his shop not to far and he offered to bring it to me when he was done to my place of work. So not only did he do an exceptional job with my firearm and took the time to show me and explain what the issue with it was, He took time after shop hours to bring it to me the same day and charged me the bare minimum. You can’t beat service like that 10/10.

I took my 12 gague to get mounting holes milled and a picatinny rail installed. From the first meet and great it was a great experience, I almost did not go to this shop because of the reviews, but I am glad I did. Him and his son are very friendly they showed me some of the projects that they were working on they all looked great. I got my gun back in about a week and he actually met me closer to my house for the exchange so that I did not have to make a trip all the way to Hallandle.Oh! And the work on my gun looks great and very clean.

Ive a New Colt LE 6940P purchased in 2013 with only 15 Rounds cycled through it. I had a accident at the Range. I looked and looked for a Gunsmith to repair the Damage and found no one. Desperate I took it to a local machine shop who made this issue much worse.I finally called a Gun Range. They highly recommended Defence Solutions Gunsmithing and I contacted them.I must say to any one reading this I consider them top of the Line, the Best of the Best !!! Their expertise saved this Colt SOCOM Heavy Duty Barrel which is now obsolete.Bottom line is this, they are the ONLY Go to Gunsmith if you have any kind of Problem !
