This is a great place to go, especially after a hike at Sleeping Giant state park. The staff is friendly and helpful. The ice cream is very good here. There is a nice area to sit outside and enjoy your treat. There is enough parking. It gets a little busy at times, but the staff does a terrific job at keeping the line flowing.When we make plans to go to sleeping Giant, I start plotting as to what I will be getting at Wentworth Ice Cream... As long as it isnt Sunday, as they are closed Sundays.Good times...Update (9/7/2020); We went here today for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic breakout. They are well organized and appear to be taking things seriously and are acting safely.I had a vanilla milk shake and the lady enjoyed a pistachio ice cream cone. The cone was said to be exceptional and above average. My shake was good.This place and the employees were spot on as per the usual...Thanks!

Have to say that they have some of the best flavors in the state. One of my favorite that Ive had in my homeland of Jamaica was rum and raisin and could never find a creamery that was able to replicate the rich flavor and texture until I came across this pleasant place.

I really enjoy Wentworth, probably too much according to the scale. Their Graham Slam ice cream is TO DIE FOR!!!

9/3/21 There are several locally owned ice cream parlors in my area, all offering premium quality homemade ice cream. Wentworths is one of those, and very close to my home.Its in what was once an actual home and the service room was actually the parlor!They have a good variety of flavors thats been reduced somewhat by COVID, like so many businesses are experiencing.Wentworths is one of my three premium go to ice cream joints when Im jonzin for really top notch frozen dairy product.Make it a point to make it one of yours too!

Mmmmm good! Loved the special flavor chocolate salted caramel Oreo and staple flavor butterscotch brickle!!! ❤️ The scoops were huge, so I’m going to stick to one scoop (so hard to choose one flavor!!) next time.

The ice cream was great but more impressive was how great the staff was. We were a pretty big group and the staff handle us with patience and humor.

The ice cream is absolutely fantastic- very flavorful. Even the kids agree that it might be the most flavorful ice cream they have had. :) There are some very innovative flavors and a diverse menu. :)What steals the show though is their arrangements in these times. From the parking lot, the signage and menu outside- the clear instructions, the prompt attention to service, the alert staff. Outstanding.The staff work well as a team- paying attention continually and promptly calling on the next guest. The premises are very clean including the outside seating area. Highly recommend! So appreciative of the owner and manager- they were courteous and kind to the staff and truly cared about the guest experience and it shows in how busy they are. Go now. :)

One of the best homemade ice cream shops around. It is always busy despite competing with its rival Sweet Claudes just up the street in Cheshire. They have seats outside in a park like setting and a gazebo for covid distancing. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Perfectly acceptable summertime dinner 😉 - Wentworths has their system down guys, worth a trip if youre local! They even do a split scoop - two flavors in a single scoop portion. Nice outdoor space - with plenty of room for social distancing - to hang out while enjoying a cool treat.

Good ice cream. I can recommend the coffee Oreo. The outdoor seating is lovely too. Allergy precautions are limited and inconsistent. Anyone with severe allergies would probably have to avoid because risk of cross contamination is high

Ordered banana split and it was delicious. The portion is huge and it is well put together. Fresh ingredients was the best part of the experience. I would have rated it a five but I had two issues. Eating big chunks of walnuts wasnt fun so I would chop the walnuts. The bananas need to be sliced thicker because it was so thin it was hard to find. Would definitely go again because what I need done can be requested.

All I can say is awesome ice cream and terrific serving staff! Being a business owner it amazed me to see that all 4 or 5 girls, (they were moving around so fast working, I had a hard time counting them) were such great workers! They served the customers, which were out the door, quickly and def efficiently! Not one complaint did I hear from over 60+ people that came through the line in the half hour I sat and enjoyed my wonderful treat! My company would be blessed to have just one of them! Lol! Thank you Wentworth for the best ice cream Ive had in a while and more importantly to me, a wonderful experience. 😎

Amazing selection of ice cream flavors with nice small indoor seating and a good area outdoors also for when the weather is a bit warmer. Slightly off the way around for some people, but an amazing choice to visit after hiking on the Sleeping Giant.

Some of the best freshly made ice cream available in the area. Unique flavors, huge portions are what you have in store when visiting this place. There was plenty of servers/ scoopers so there was not a long wait at all. The place is easy to find, and parking is free. You can enjoy your purchase in the back of the property on several benches and even a swing. The only problem is picking which flavors to eat!

Delicious homemade ice cream! This is a family favorite and weekly tradition for us :-) I always go in thinking that I will just get a scoop for each of my kids, but inevitably end up savoring one of their many indulgent flavors! Always delicious, always clean, great indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, and a plethora of choices for all including sugar-free. They make a mean custom ice cream cake too- but you must order at LEAST three days in advance to allow time for each layer to solidify. Totally worth it. Dont forget their fall 50% off gift cards!

Excellent home-made ice cream and a nice outdoor area next to the woods to enjoy some sunshine while you eat. A few years ago they only took cash, no credit cards, so that was a bit inconvenient but they now allow credit cards so I find myself coming back here a bit too often :)

This has been a favorite place of ours for over 10 years! Wonderful homemade ice cream. The staff is always friendly and fast. Even when theyre extremely busy, theyre organized and the line moves very fast. Its always clean and they have ample parking space. Even when the lot is full, if you just wait for a little bit...theres so much movement, a parking space is bound to open up. They have excellent chocolate sprinkles and an excellent peanut butter reeses sundae! They have lots of choices to choose from. They have indoor seating, restrooms, plus lots of room outside to eat. They have a gazebo and many customers bring their dogs outside to eat ice cream with them. This is June 2019 and Sleepy Giant Park is back open so Wentworths is a great place to end your day after going to the park.
