JC and the staff at Lakeside Marine were phenomenal to work with in upgrading the motor on my fishing boat. Pricing was more than competitive, and despite a very long wait for the motor to come in (which is true of every dealer right now) JC provided regular updates and was always easy to reach. Best experience I’ve ever had with a boat dealer, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Wish I could give Zero stars. Parts guy was rude and inconsiderate. When I asked if they carried parts for Evinrude he arrogantly responded, Well, youre going to have to tell me which Evinrude! Theres only 273 thousand different Evinrudes, so which one do you mean? Safe to say Ill never darken their doorway again!

Horrible service. I brought my Jet boat in for the ENGINE to be fixed due to it sputtering and not running correctly. These people did not even touch the motor they “tightened wire connections”... then claimed the motor was fixed. They refuse to give me my money back or fix the problem.

Very Professional Buying Experience. I never felt that JC or his family were pushing extras on me to increase the costs. They made a fair and sober evaluation of my boat and what was needed to re=power and get back on the water. Hopefully the engine will perform but I have bought cars and not been given the time and treatment that I had at Lakeside. Mrs. Barb, JC and the family does a good job. Would recommend this dealer to my friends.

Needed my motor fixed, they told me about $600 on the phone, then after I dropped it off they called me back and said about $1000, then again at $1500. At the $1500 point I said should I cut my losses? I asked what they thought the motor was worth and if there were more potential problems I might have to address in the near future. I was assured it was worth $2K+ and that it was a good one and I would not need any additional repairs. When I picked it up, I got the oh by the way you need routine. I asked how much more to finish the job after paying them $1500 already, they said another $1k. No sense in loosing my temper, I just paid my bill and left, My dad an I have been going to lakeside since I was a kid, I would guess late 80s. I later performed the repair they suggested and sold the motor for $500 after listing it for over a year on various for sale services.

Would be 5 stars but the weekend hours are ridiculous. Who closes at noon on Saturday? However, if you take time off work to get there while theyre open, They really know their stuff and prices are competitive.

Lakeside was awesome to deal with, went up to check out a boat was allowed to check boats out without being pressured and when I was ready to purchase it was effortless from paperwork to loading the boat the staff made it a breeze, I will absolutely be going back for all my boating needs top notch place

Helpful folks but I just get awning cleaner/protection there.

Poor experience with consignment process. Had to keep calling to keep process moving because otherwise they just left boat sit on their lot (not offered for sale). $700+ in prep work later, they failed to sell it and now tell me theyll only consign 5 boats at a time so wont take it for consignment since they already have 5 units for sale. I guess they made their money off all that prep work.
