It was a pleasure to work with this dealership. My wife wanted a particular color combination (white with brown leather interior) for her new Forester Touring, and it was difficult to locate in our area. There was only one locally, and that dealer would not negotiate a reasonable price (other dealers offered reasonable prices for same car/options, but couldnt get the color combo). I finally located the perfect car at Faulkner in Harrisburg, 100 miles away, and handled negotiations with Kim by email and phone. When we arrived Jess handled our final sales paperwork and car-feature orientation, and Kyle quickly got us through the financing, and we got back on the road quickly. Its great to have a pleasant and efficient car-buying experience.

So far (Im only part ways into it) Ive been blown away by this service department. From the moment I drove onto their lot I was treated like royalty. Attention to detail. Friendly. Really helpful. I took my freshly paint corrected dark cherry pearl 2013 impreza in for a simple oil change. The car was in spotless condition. I come back to my car a few hours later and it looked horrendous. They washed my car for no reason and instead of drying it they put it directly in the sun with soapy water still on the car. I now have burnt in hard water spots all over my car and they don’t seem to see a problem with what they did. The car was 10x cleaner before they washed it. They ruined my 5 DAYS worth of work that was done just last week. Extremely disappointed that a subaru dealership would put my car on their lot looking like that when it was perfect looking to begin with. Waiting on a call from the service manager on monday. Will never take my car in for another service. Good intentions, horrible execution. $85 for an oil change and a ruined paint correction. Thanks.

My wife and I dropped our 2012 off to them for a break switch recall along with the passenger side airbag recall. And the tech asked if theres anything he should know about.... I said no and asked him to say something if he found anything I didnt know about. And they did a bumper to bumper inspection fluids, brake pads tires, tire pressures. And a hole chassis check. All under the recall so to say that we are pleased with the service and kindness is a huge understatement... These guys are the bees knees in my opinion!!!!

I had to bring my 2010 outback in..... I have had several issues with my radiator recently and it needs to be operated on... ... I believe my car is telling me - I need a new owner.... However Im hoping the techs can perform life back in to my car... You see my goal is 500,000 miles and Im half way there.... But the service center was awesome, they took my history and gave me a brand new 2019 outback..... Ohhhhh it rides so nice..... So my car has died and I needed to get another car... So I was able to purchase another outback car. So my 2010 blk car has been put to the auction block and today I purchased a 2016 white Subaru outback...Thanks Subaru for the great open house 🏡j

Let me straight up say, this is by far the best dealership Ive ever been to. I went in looking at cars and was greeted by Joseph, told him what I was in the market for, gave me the keys and said go take a drive. Came back and fell in love with the car. We talked the numbers and made a deal. The next day was not so good...I woke up with the extreme case of buyers remorse. Monday morning Joseph called me and asked me what they could do. 5 minutes later, hes calling me back telling me they can make this right for me. Instead of telling me Im out of luck, they made things right for their customer. When I showed up for the exchange, I met with Julio again and got everything finished and squared away. I couldnt be more happier now with my new 2020 now. Everyone at the dealership was great to work with and I would definitely recommend.

I drove my Forester Sport for two weeks then went back to meet with Mitch (technology guru) for a 1 on 1 training session that went over everything from front to rear and spent the majority of the time on the technology aspect of the car- its amazing what it can do. I recently bought a 2020 Subaru Outback Limited at Faulkner Subaru. This is my fourth Subaru (third from Faulkner). I love my new car. Each of my prior Subarus had over 180,000 miles. Yes, I did leave with a car that I love, but it wasnt by any help of the sales department. I found the certified pre-owned car listed online, did a lot of research on my own, and was very interested in purchasing only that car. Due to covid, I had to make an appt to see and test it out. The morning I was to drive an hour to see the car, I got a call saying that someone else put a deposit on the car, but thats okay, we have plenty of new 2021 models for you to try. I made it clear that I wasnt interested in a new 2021 model due to the price range, and would just rather cancel my appt altogether. End of call. Not even 10 minutes later I get a return call, Youre never going to believe this, but the person who had a deposit on the car you want just decided to go with a 2021 model instead, so its available for you to come see today!!.... seems fishy, am I right?Despite my research, I did have a few questions, but multiple sales people did not know the answer and said thats an easy one for you to look up later. If I am purchasing a subaru from a subaru dealership, youd think someone would have some answers.After test driving the vehicle, I popped the hood to take a look around. It was VERY obvious to me that basic fluids were low (i.e. Coolant, washer fluid). I pointed this out to my sales person, and they assured me that everything would be topped off before driving off the lot. Im an idiot and didnt check before I left that day. I checked my fluid levels at home, and absolutely nothing was topped off. Thought Id check on the oil, and the oil was overfilled and NOT NEW. They sold me a car and didnt even have the decency to top off the fluids and change the oil. Who knows how long some salesman was driving around in the car since the last oil change. I ended up having to buy over $50 of fluids and fill it all myself.Last, but certainly not least, I was promised a good deal if I drove an hour to this dealership. Yet, they refused to deviate from the listed price on the website. Dont have me drive an hour, deprive the car of basic maintenance, and then demand that I pay sticker price!It is safe to say that I will not be returning or recommending Faulkner Subaru in Harrisburg to anyone.

Good and bad. The good - salesperson was great and we got a straight forward, honest deal. We had the car less than two weeks and one of the tires blew. We called the salesperson and the tire was replaced free. The bad - the car was a recent trade and had not even been cleaned. We left the vehicle to be cleaned and serviced and planned to pick it up two days later. The next day I got a text saying my car was ready. I was surprised!!!! Picked the car up and over the next two weeks discovered the car had only been cleaned. Oil change light came on, breaks squeal, and the hill assist check indicator beeped every time the road declined. When we had the car in to fix the tire they checked and adjusted the hill assist, changed for the oil, didnt even check the brakes and basically charged us for everything that should have been fixed before we took the car off the lot. The hill assist is still beeping annoyingly and the brakes are still squealing.

Tried buying a used Subaru with over 24,000 miles on it and was told the price was firm, no haggling. Since when is there “no haggling” on the price of a “used” car? Anyway, I was informed by my employer that we had the Subaru VIP coupon available and I called to see what the VIP price would be on a new forester sport. I was told the price and I ask if they can do better since the VIP price should be the same at every dealership and would they beat Lancaster County Subaru or Steve Moyer Subaru and I was told no, the VIP price is the price. All three dealerships had the exact same car at the exact same price and close to the same VIP price.Lancaster County then undercut Faulkner by several hundred dollars to get me to buy and then Steve Moyer Subaru just flat out crushed both of them with the best price! It pays to shop around people and I bought my brand new 2021 Subaru Forester Sport at Steve Moyer Subaru.I tried buying both a used and new car from Faulkner in a two week span and they weren’t interested in selling one. This was my experience and I would tell everyone to make sure they shop around as there are better deals to be had elsewhere.

Went to Faulkner Harrisburg for a preliminary trip to see where what was in my budget as this was my first car buying experience and I was not knowledgeable about the process. Aaron, my car sales representative was very patient and made sense of what I was looking for. On the first try he nailed my perfect car, the dream car! Kyle, my financial advisor was so patient and great as well! After agreeing on a price and payment, the papers were drawn up to include a payment of $51 a month more than agreed upon. I was told this would not be changed. I would never deal with this dealership again. This was the worst to car buying experience I have ever had. We reached an agreement which was not honored. I spoke to the dealership several times and was told they would not do anything. The papers were drawn up and I was never told my payment until later. I have the car but I would advise staying away from this dishonest dealership.

My Sales Associate, David, was great and the paperwork process was good as well. However, within the first month I had to return the car for issues with the front drivers side wheel. I felt as though my complaints were dismissed the first time and the issue was not resolved, which resulted in me having to return it for a second time. This time they realized it was the rotor. Now, I had only had the car for a month and it was under warranty, but the service associated seemed annoyed that I was annoyed! When he told me they replaced the rotor because it was the right thing to do, it sounded like I was putting them out. It was the ONLY thing to do!!

Bought both my vehicle and my husbands here and we are customers for life! Friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful staff. They even take the time to interact with the whole family, not just the one making the decision, which is, honestly, key when making a purchase for the family.

I purchased my very first car, a gently used 2015 subaru forester from Faulkner and ever since then I have had nothing but problems with this car and with my experience at Faulkner. First off, I trusted the sales women who assured me that her boys do a great job detailing so when I picked up my car at 8:00pm in the dark to take it home for the very first time I did not check to make sure the back was clean. Long story short, I ended up taking my new used car home with dog hair in the back--I do not even own a dog! 1 year later the transmission and a/c fan broke. Today I just got it serviced/inspected, drove it to the grocery store and when I went to leave again my car started but the r/min is at zero and it is not running. If you are looking to waste your money and your even more valuable time, this is the dealership for you! Would never reccomend.

I called the service desk and spoke to a very helpful man, Justin. Told him my issue (Subaru Eye Sight disabled), and on a busy day with lots of customers, he asked me to stop over so he can hook up a scanner identify the code that explains the issue (loose gas cap). He did so not just with the product information but with the ease of conversation and attentiveness with us, especially my father who is not especially compatible with anything electronic.I would 100% recommend purchasing a Subaru. This car buying experience far exceeded any previous experiences I have had purchasing a car! Great job!!

This was my first Subaru that I have purchased and I will have to say so far, I like the cars features and ride a lot. There were a couple issues with the car in the beginning though it was no fault of Faulkner Subaru but these problems were resolved promptly & fairly by the sales & service team there. I feel the car is a great value for the money & I would recommend the car & dealership.

My experience at Faulkner Subaru has been a better experience than I expected to have buying a new car. Its a big purchase and the team at Faulkner Subaru in Harrisburg has been respectful, helpful and approachable throughout the process. Kim responded to an inquiry I made online and set a great first impression. She shared an offer I knew I didnt want to miss the chance to check out in person. Kim and Chris made it a point to introduce themselves in person which I appreciated. Chantel was patient, kind, knowledgeable and so darn likeable. She was respectful and she did so much to make it a good (obviously this is an understatement) experience for me personally and financially. Joe and Jared were professional, kind, patient, and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure this experience was one that was good for me financially. Im still surprised by how good of an experience Ive had. While I havent known them long, I trust this team and Im sure they will continue to knock it out of the park. Im tickled pink.

By the time we ventured up to Harrisburg, we had a lot of bad experiences at car dealerships under our belt. The team that was there on Tuesday night turned that right around! Our salesman, Richard, was such a kindhearted and knowledgeable guy that really helped us find the car we had been searching for! My mom used their online chat feature to find out the pricing before we got there and that was such a helpful tool for us! The test drive was great and Richard knew the roads to take us to that would truly show the way the car works in certain situations. (He also didnt make it awkward and was able to carry on really good conversation while still doing his job!) Once we decided that was the car we wanted to take home, they started pulling their team together to get us everything we needed. There were a few things that took a bit longer than expected but the staff there, Lanny in particular, was friendly enough to come chat with us to make the time go by quicker! They try very hard to get you to sign up for their warranties and are very thorough in their presentation of the different types there are to choose from. Overall it was a great experience- best one Ive had in two weeks of searching! Since we didnt have an extra driver to take the car home with us that night, they delivered the car the very next morning at no cost to us! I simply cannot say enough good things about this place! :)

Friendly, communicative and timely

We purchased a used vehicle from Faulkner Subaru Harrisburg in November 2018 and I can not say enough nice things about this dealership. We live about 2 hrs away from the dealership and had found the car online. We dealt with Stephanie through email and text. She gave us full and accurate details about the car and we came to an agreement on price. We made the 2 hr drive where we had the privilege to work with Johnny. Johnny was completely no pressure and even more helpful. He had the car cleaned up and ready for us to test drive. He allowed us to drive in different driving conditions for as long as we felt necessary while he explained the details of the vehicle. When we were satisfied, Johnny took us to another gentleman who quickly and efficiently got us through the paper work and out of the dealership with our new (to us) vehicle. the car is GREAT, the people are nice, friendly and helpful and most of all efficient. I would not hesitate to make the 2 hr drive to purchase a vehicle from Faulkner Subaru Harrisburg (ask for Johnny!).
