I was visiting the area for the first time and was stuck inside due to a storm but wanted something sweet and caught them right as they were closing up. We got 3 items and I was really impressed With everything. The two standouts were the custard bread pudding and cookies and cream cheesecake. I’m not even that big of a fan of cheesecake but I could eat this stuff everyday. I’m so pleasantly surprised that a little city like Harrisburg would have such amazing bakery. If I ever come back I would definitely make another stop.

DELICIOUS and MOIST! Tammy baked a 10 3-layer carrot cake for my 60th birthday. The cream cheese between the layers of goodness was generous; a nice distribution of carrots, raisins, walnuts and pineapple is what makes a fantastic carrot cake! This was no ordinary bakery cake...it was one that grandma would have been proud to serve!

We had the opportunity of experiencing her chocolate on top of chocolate cupcake and we could’ve been more happy. It was moist, rich, and soooo much chocolate. If you ever have the chance to check out this great establishment. Please do.Great customer service and space. Very attentive and offer me the LEGENDARY CUPCAKE! She told me that I’d be back, and I came back hours later. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I was in town to visit family and celebrate birthdays, so we stopped at this bakery on a whim. THEY ARE AMAZING! the cake was moist and fluffy, the icings were perfect, and the owner and employees were delightful to interact with. Absolutely support this small business!

ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR CAKE!! SAYING ITS DELICIOUS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. MY FIRST TIME ORDERING CUSTOM CAKE FOR MY DAUGHTERS 4RTH BIRTHDAY. THE FOLKS THAT WERE THERE WAS HUMBLE, EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND THE PRICE FOR OUR CAKE WAS REASONABLE. EVERYONE WHO ATE THE CAKE SAYS IT WAS SOOOOOO DELICIOUS. The owner took her time to explain how each one tasted. It was my first time there and she was so polite and patient. Bread pudding was the absolute best I ever tasted. Will be going back again soon.

My wife and I tried this place today and it exceeded expectations. The big daddy breakfast sandwich is by far the best breakfast sandwich I ever ate and my wife loved her breakfast platter and lastly the banana pudding is amazing!

What I ate from here; sweet potato pie, pound cake, just to name a few, certainly reminded me of my grandma who lives in the South. Everything was great! Just Baked Cakes and Pies lives up to its motto.

Friendly staff, a good selection. I got two cupcakes and as I was checking out noticed the cheesecake and it looked so good I had to get one. Everything was amazing. Ill definitely be back.

Wonderful people making wonderful food! Its always a treat to pop into this bakery when I visit the Midtown Scholar. And I especially love grabbing an egg sandwich in the mornings. The baked goods are all as lovely as they look! I highly recommend this excellent bakery!

Stopped in today with my son. We picked out several desserts and I ordered a breakfast sandwich. Customer service was excellent...very friendly and welcoming. Tried the desserts when we got home and everyone loved all of them (breakfast sandwich was great too...we ate that in the car). We will be repeat customers. Next time my son wants a sweet potato pie 🥧
