I was looking for a little better quality of 1x material for plaque making as I have been getting from the big box stores. Called ahead of time to ask about quality and availability, was told it was very good. Stopped in same day to see the lumber in person, stood in line for 10 minutes watching one person with just a handful of things trying to get checked out (one other person in front of me also) So decided to just run outside and look for myself. I found the lumber but not in the length I needed and the quality was marginally better at best. Went back in to inquire of they had the length I needed, I was gone 5-10 minutes and the same person was just finishing being checked out. Got back in line waited another 10 minutes.. Finally my turn and as I approach the counter the clerk points behind me and says he thinks that gentleman was before me!! I kept walking and went right out the door. Never have I seen such poor service. I thought the mom and pop stores would be better but I was wrong, seems you need to be friends to get good service.
