My whole experience with Extra Space was phenomenal from beginning to end. The website was super easy to navigate and I was able to rent online exactly what I needed the night before I needed it. I was greeted the next morning with a welcoming phone call with instructions on what to do from there. Once I got to the Linglestown location, I believe the mans name that helped me was Steve, but he was very nice and gave me a step by step on what to do and showed me where to go. I am very pleased with everything so far!

Excellent facility to store my things. Very clean, secure and climate controlled. Employees are awesome they go above and beyond to help. Would highly recommend. Prices are a bit higher then other places but well worth it.

We are very impressed with the management and the storage facility on Linglestown Road, in Harrisburg, PA. Steve Wagner is the manager and Jeff Connell is the Assistant Manager. We worked with both of them during our planning stages and during our actual move, not only on the phone, but also in person. They were both professional, knowledgeable and friendly.Prior to our recent move from Virginia, and after researching the possibilities for storing our belongings, we contacted Extra Space Storage. Steve answered the phone and patiently gave us all the details. We asked about the different sized units that were available, how the units are temperature controlled, the accessibility, and costs. Steve asked us for a list of possible storage items to help us decide on the size unit we would need. He then recommended at least a 10x20 and turned out to be exactly correct. As there was nothing available larger than a 10x15, at that time, Steve wrote down our phone number and contacted us as soon as one became available. He took care of all the details and we were set. When we made our first trip up, Jeffrey was in the office. He opened the gate for us and assisted with locating the unit, explained how to turn on the lights and how to use the lock. He even offered advice about how to handle some bulky items. The facility is very clean and well-run. The freight elevator and available carts made it easy to bring our belongings to the second floor.When we brought the majority of our household goods up, Steve was in the office. We stayed in touch by phone so he could open the gate for us, and held an additional unit, near the 10x20 open, as he assumed we would need it, and continually checked on our progress. We hired professional movers for this load and they were also impressed with Extra Space Storage. The move went well and we feel very confident about the safety and security of our belongings.We thank both Steve and Jeff for such a positive experience and are very pleased with Extra Space Storage!

Steven was great at helping me with all the details of getting a storage room while I was on the road driving from Colorado to Pennsylvania. By the time we arrived in Pennsylvania everything was all set up for us and ready to go.Jeffery on the other hand was truly amazing!!! He went above and beyond the call of service when he help me and my husband move a 450 lbs. refrigerator off a moving truck and helped us get it and other things into the storage room. We wanted to pay him for his help but he wouldn’t hear of it. He is the true Angel. Thanks you guys.

This is a very clean and secure storage facility. I would highly recommend this place for your storage needs.

After using Extra Space Storage for 1 1/2 years, I would highly recommend it. The facility is a wonderful temperature controlled space, easy to access, plenty of wheeled devices to help you. It feels safe on all sides, access is limited to tenants, and, most of all, the staff always waves at you! That sounds simple but for some, being acknowledged is a layer of security as well as friendliness. Steve was a delight to deal with and the financial arrangements couldnt be easier. Extra Space on Linglestown is as good as it gets.

After storing the majority of my household belongings in unit 1307 for 18 months, I removed my items on 11.6.19 to find they are covered with mold. And I paid dearly to have them in a climate controlled unit. Insurance will not cover mold damage and Extra Space Storage says theyre not liable. I have thousands of dollars of ruined furniture sitting in my garage waiting to be hauled away by the garbage company, plus two family heirlooms that belonged to my deceased grandfather which can NEVER be replaced. Renters beware!!!!!!!!! If mold is in my unit, Id bet its in other units as well. Save yourself time, grief, aggravation, wasted money, stress, tears, heartache and sleepless nights - rent elsewhere. Extra Space Storage is certainly not living up to their promises to me to provide me with a clean unit to safely store my lifetime of possessions in.

From start to finish Extra Space Storage (Linglestown rd location) has been so communicative and professional. The reps on the phone were very detailed on any questions I asked, and when they passed my information along to the manager, Steve, he gave me a call within 15 minutes. Steve has gone above and beyond in helping me with last minute storage needs, details on pricing and contract, along with recommendations on movers for my big furniture items (big relief!!)Also whenever I visited the storage unit itself, it was clean, updated, and met all expectations I wanted. They facility provides security code and gates, along with freight sized elevators and rollers so you don’t have carry boxes. Highly would recommend this place for your storage needs- It’s a huge stress reliever knowing this has been a smooth process and my personal belongs will be secured and taken care of while I’m out of the area.

I cant say enough good things about Steve Wagner (the manager of this location) and the Extra Space Storage location off Linglestown Rd. A few years ago, I found myself needing to quickly move out of my house, and I needed a place to store some of my belongings. I specifically wanted a climate controlled unit to preserve some furniture that belonged to my grandmother. Steve was so helpful with guiding me through the process and making a very stressful time so much easier. He is a very hands-on manager, and he works his hardest to make sure everything stays perfect!Ive been storing my belongings here for just over 3 years and Ive never once had to worry about them. The facility is so clean, has great security measures in place, and has been a perfect temperature every time Ive been there. I recently moved out of the storage unit because I purchased a house with enough room for my belongings, but you can bet that if I ever have a need for a storage unit again, Ill be coming right back here!

My wife and I cant say enough about Extra Space Storage Linglestown Road. They helped us out when we needed it most. We sold our house and were scheduled to move into our new home . Everything was packed in a U-Haul ready to move in when the seller will not allow us in early. With desperate measures we stopped and walked in the door here. They immediately gave us a full-size unit on the first floor, and that made it about as easy for us as possible! Thank you for making a disastrous day go a whole lot better!

A great place. We suddenly moved to a smaller place and needed a place to keep our important items ASAP. We filled out a reservation online and he called pretty much 2 minutes after it was submitted confirming a time for us to come in. He showed us how to use the elevator code, how to open our door, about access for the building and more. A great place if you need somewhere to store things. Plus, its safe for your electronics because it is climate controlled!

Steve was wonderful. He explained the process, showed me how codes and locks worked. The carts are so convenient to move boxes into the unit. The facilities were very clean. I have moved several times but this is the first time I’ve used a storage facility.
