The people working are always kind and helpful. The door is always open and they recognized me by name when I entered. My bike always comes out perfect and they don’t cut corners. 10/10 5 stars pictured is my bike after a long ride after they worked on it. It rides like new every time I break something.

Great brands and great staff!We stopped here on a way home from a mtbx/weekend family camping trip to check out bikes. Mark was our contact here and he had some great patience to answer our questions all while letting my daughter pedal around several bikes to try out. Dad may have tried a bike too. We left with one happy five year old on a new Trek Rosco 20”, and a happy family as we felt we advised.

I am from out of town and needed a specific part for a bike. Called in, they had it, were very courteous and helpful even though it was a small part. Clear they are in the people/customer service business. I was so happy I treated myself to a health shake that is located in the store. I highly recommend them.

Best Bike Place EVER! We went in there to see if they could tell us about where to cycle around the Massanutten Resort. They gave us a map of a 20 mile ride and we rode it 4 times. Shenandoah Bicycle Company provides outstanding service at reasonable prices. I bring my bikes and eBike there for service, a 100-mile round trip for me. The staff always appears to be as helpful as possible regarding the travel distance. They are knowledgeable, very friendly and their work is done efficiently and with quality, not to mention the cool vibe that exists in their shop. Theyve definitely earned my customer loyalty.

Thomas and Jack and everyone at SBC are amazing to deal with and do an outstanding job of labor, customer service and communication. Friendly people willing and capable to answer questions about bicycles and accessories. The bike we wanted to see had not been fully assembled when we first saw it. They assembled the bike and contacted us to return to see the bike. Allowed a test ride of the bike we wanted. Installed fenders and a new seat with no installation charge. What more could you ask for.

I had a great experience at the Shenandoah Bicycle Company today. Dropped off my bike for a new rear tire and the technician said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Came back a little early and the technician said he was about to call me and explained that my axle had cracked. He said they had a spare wheel and could replace it in another 30 minutes for about $25. I agreed and ran a few errands around town. Came back and the bike was ready to go and rides like new. What was so impressive was how busy they were but every employee made a point to say hello and offered to help. And not being a bike expert I really appreciated the expert and friendly service. And I got a new tire and wheel for about $60 and the bike rides 100% better. Really cant say enough about them. Ill certainly be back next time I need service on the bike.

The shop was quick to get my bike in good working order for my upcoming bikepacking trip on the C&O canal. I am extremely happy with the customer service and the work they did on my bike. I was really impressed with the staff at SBC. Recently went in to get my kids set up with their first real bikes. This place and the people were amazing! I have never been in a bike shop before that was so welcoming and easygoing and helpful. Not only was I helped right away, but they worked with me to find a temporary fix so I could get back on the trail as soon as possible AND only charged me a minimum for what was a tricky fix. Shenandoah Bicycle Companys customer service is phenomenal. Kevin was patient with my many many questions on bike parts (I needed new shoes, hybrid pedals, and handlebars). He explained the features and options of each of the items so that I could make the best-informed decisions on my purchases to meet my specific needs. He ordered and shipped my pedals to me promptly. He also gave me tips on places where I could train where Im temporarily living to prepare for an upcoming 500-mile ride for cancer ride. Shenandoah Bicycle Company is not a local shop for me, but they are worth the distance for their kindness, knowledge, and inventory. I have recommended them to other cyclist friends.

They also had good knowledge of local trails and you could tell everyone there loved cycling.My only reason for not 5-star (and would have given 4.5 if an option) was relatively high pricing compared to my experience with other shops, and I would like to see them throw a little more customer incentive behind new bike purchases from their shop like free first tune-up or discount maintenance plans, especially given no haggle pricing at MSRP.Undoubtedly you will get great and friendly service!

We’ve taken our bikes for repair to SBC off and on since 2013. Always friendly staff, timely work, and reasonable rates. Brought my bike there this morning (brakes were loose) and they were able to fix in five minutes! So thankful for honest people. Highly recommended!

Very easy for a new entrant into cycling to approach. You can tell everyone there is experienced, both with fixing bikes and riding them. And theyre willing to help out someone with no experience whatsoever, which is very encouraging. The wide variety of products and services offered is also nice, as I need not worry whether the particular repair I need is available.

I’ll first disclose that I have never written a review of any merchant whatsoever, but I was floored by this place. SBC is an excellent shop with a great selection of mountain bikes. Drove an hour to this place while in the area for business to look at a couple brands not available where I reside in TX.I had the pleasure of working with two individuals, an employee who set me up on a bike for just a short demo out back for fit and the owner who set me up for an extended two day demo and briefed me on the local trails and provided some insight and his experience with the Ibis bikes.This place is a rare find... all their high-end bikes are available for demo and they are honestly eager to provide any assistance to ensure you have an enjoyable experience whether you buy a bike or just demo one.Again, this level of service is not customary and a rare find. I would highly encourage anyone to visit this shop if in the area. They have a great selection of bikes and they shop is unlike any other I’ve been to.

There are no bike repair shops in Shenandoah County so I had to go down to Harrisonburg to get my brakes fixed. I walked in and the worker took my bike, fixed it in 30 seconds (doh!) added air to my tires and I was on my way. No charge! These guys were so polite and so helpful. If / when I have real bike issues, I know Ill head back to them for help.

I have been using SBC exclusively for pretty much everything bike related for the past 15 years. The product selection, knowledgeable staff, and the maintenance department is the best I have ever worked with.

My son was eager to learn to ride but struggling so much with the clunky, heavy old bike wed dredged up for him that no one was having fun. At the shop, Thomas helped us pick out a bike that fit him and was light enough for him to handle, and then spent about 15 minutes out back helping Alex build back his bike confidence. Hes since declared it the best bike in the world, and weve been having a blast ever since. Family bike rides are back on track thanks to SBC!

They made it super easy to shop local during this time of social distancing. I left the bike on the rack in front of the store, they came out after I left, fixed it, called 30 minutes later to let me know it was done. I paid over the phone and picked it up off the rack. Same price as parts from Amazon, and they replaced and installed the new tube and tire!

Everybody Ive worked with at SBC is nice and welcoming, they share tons of knowledge about riding in the area, they are active in improving bike infrastructure, and they have a great selection of bikes and parts. One of my favorite shops in the country. SBC really worked with me and provided a lot of creative problem solving and customer service to get a new drivetrain on my bike. I thought I knew what I was doing and I had some parts ready to go, but they found errors in my plan that I hadnt realized and worked with me to come up with a better plan. They were great to work with and did such an amazingly thorough job on my bike that it now looks and rides like a brand new bike. Their mechanical labor rates seemed very reasonable to me, but above all, the quality of the work and customer service was absolutely top-notch and thats why Ill go back.
