Great local book store with a great selection considering its size. Always had great service/help finding what I need. My first place to stop to buy a book.

Levin & Company is the perfect bookstore. Not only do they have a great selection of all the top flight fiction you want to read, they also have wonderful collection of beautiful special interest photo books and kids books too. This is a bookstore owned by a family who loves books and loves what they do. They are always ready to make sure you get your hands on what you need.Another huge bonus is that they also carry a great cross section of CDs and cool used vinyl. And they know their stuff.The store has a great vibe. Its high ceilings and great natural light show off the original artwork by the talented owners that decorate the walls. And if you want a change of scene, they have a great art gallery upstairs with affordable artsy gift items as well as the full gallery. Its right on the town square next to a great bakery too!This is a store you can spend a lot of time in. And if you need to find something for someone special or for yourself, youll have no problem here. I give it 5 Stars!

The go to bookstore! It was my home town book store 20 years ago when I first moved to Healdsburg and I still return to it now Ive moved away.its everything a book lover wants.besides the lovely people that own it I love when you go in a the smell of the old wood floor and books.i read a book years ago that I wanted to read again and could only remember the story not the author or title,they found it and ordered for my next trip down.the professor and the madman great read.as you can tell I miss it being my regular go to place and its next to the bakery !!

Great local bookstore.

Levin and Company is the best bookstore I have ever seen. The staff is knowledgeable, warm, friendly and really cares about finding the right next book for YOU, not just what others are reading. The store is spacious and inviting and there is impressive art on all the walls, from art quilts to dog portraits to a collage of a local childrens theater group to a classic bookstore mural... of books! You can totally tell that this is a family run business and that each and every person behind the counter cares about your experience. Aaron has turned me on to all sorts of new music, for which I am most grateful. And their backlist is impressive; I always know I can find that classic-of-my-heart that the other stores ignore as being too off beat or that didnt sell enough the first time around. An experience worth going to Healdsburg for for any true book lover.

Great bookstore. Terrific selections in all genres. Fine options for CDs as well as used vinyl LPs that have many really collectable rare items. When youre in Healdsburg, its well worth a look.
