I cannot BEGIN to say enough good things about Callahans Appliance in Holbrook! From SOOOO many terrible experiences trying to get good repair people to our home and failing with specifically our dishwasher before finding Callahans, they rise above and beyond and then some. From their office with Jeanette and entire team whose professionalism, punctuality and patience is beyond any company I have ever dealt with-getting each part required from KitchenAid promptly while keeping us in the loop (one gets more anxious then youd think in the dead of summer with zero dishwasher weeks on end-or anytime of year really), to calling us to inform on all, as well as calling to confirm appointment day of with time frame window for technicians to arrive thus making it so your entire day isnt pacing waiting for them. To our repair technician, Pete, who came on time numerously back and forth and ever so patiently worked through the problems and process until the dishwasher was properly fixed. Our dishwasher (without jinxing) is running like new again and I can rest easy knowing Callahans is always a phone call away, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!!!!

Very professional and personable business. Jeannette scheduled my appointment, called the night before as a reminder with an approximate time and called on the day of appointment when there was a delay. Ron was very knowledgeable in diagnosing the problem. He ordered the necessary parts and completed the repair on the next appointment. I highly recommend this business

Arrived exactly Within the small window I was given. Quick and efficient repair. Very knowledgeable and transparent. He was very trustworthy impolite. Would strongly recommend for any appliance repair. Its tough to find somebody in this business that you can trust and I would use them again anytime.

I called Callahan appliance to fix an issue with my refrigerator after my minor attempts to fix didnt work. Everyone was excellent from the receptionist that scheduled my appointment to the service technician that came to my house. The technician was professional knowledgeable and a gentleman. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the future.

Pete came to fix our screeching dryer. He was very nice and even wore booties around his shoes to avoid bringing dirt into the house! Fixed our dryer quickly and for a reasonable price (his cost matched the price estimate I found on google) would 100% use Callahans Appliance again. Thank you!!

Callahan appliance was great. I received a prompt appointment from P.C. Richards (unfortunately my brand new dishwasher didn’t work). The Callahan’s dispatcher provided a two hour window and even she called to tell me when the repair man was on his way. He showed up on time, was courteous, quick and fixed the machine! Great experience, keep up the good work.

DO NOT CALL THIS BUSINESS! I called on a Monday to make an appointment for a broken washer. I left a message. On Tuesday morning, the woman that works there called me, took my information and said that a serviceman would be to my house between 12 and 4 on Wednesday. By 4:00 Wednesday no one had showed so I called the office. The woman insisted that the serviceman was finishing up a call and would be to me shortly. She told me they would call when he was 30 mins out. No call, no show. I left two messages on the answering machine Wednesday evening and called first thing Thursday morning. No one ever returned my call. No explanation, NOTHING. Poor way to do business.

Stay away from this company! Arranged to have washing machine repaired through my extended warranty through Lowes. Technician did arrive promptly for service call and told me I needed a part that had to be ordered and it would take about 5 days. Fine, I said. 10 days later I called to inquire and was greeted with an answering machine recording telling me all representatives are assisting other customers. Please leave message and we will get back to you. Right then I should of known I was going to have a problem. Representatives? This company works out of a home in Holbrook. Its a mom and pop operation. Anyway called back 3 days later and someone actually picked up phone. Explained my situation and was told she was going to transfer call to individual handling my area. Lies!!!!! There is no other individual. Once again, got recording to leave message, which I did. But I also immediately called back to speak to individual who initially answered phone. They must have caller ID because my call wasnt answered. Realizing Im getting runaround I contacted Lowes, after all, they referred me to this company and set up service call. After explaining my situation representative attempted to contact Callahans himself, but was hung up 2 times. Even he could not believe their rudeness. I would rather give this company zero rating but I cant post my review without selecting at least 1 star.Stay away!

I would recommend finding another company. They have no regrets making you wait for over an hour, 3 calls to them unanswered,untill I requested a cancelation. Then the calls came back. I was told the technician would arrive in 30 minutes, an hour and a half later Im informed hes still on another job. I gave up hourly wage to meet him, I asked for some type of compensation, was told NO. Maybe they forget, they are in the business of customer service, without customers, there out of business. I lost 3 hours pay waiting for nobody to show. Next company I called, $30 less for the initial visit, and confirmed a 30 minutes window or I do receive a discount. I have to wait a few days, but it will be worth not loosing more salary. There customer service is awful, 3 calls, no response till Im cancelling. Really? Look elsewhere, seriously.

Super impressed with my first experience with Callahans. Expecting to be given the usual run-around I explained to the Scheduling Manager I would be taking the morning off work to supervise the repair of our JennAir refrigerator. The Manager gave me a three hour window and promised to call when the tech was on his way. Peter, the technician arrived on time, and was quick to assess the situation. He face-timed and texted with the companys Help Desk (his boss), which essentially meant we had two heads on the job. A power surge had melted the starter motor, fortunately Peter had the part in his truck. In full transparency his boss forwarded a link of the part as a way of verifying the cost (impressed again by no shady overcharging!) Peter even managed to get the ice-maker working, which two techs from another company had tried to fix but figured was faulty. Easily the most professional team Ive seen in a while. Kudos to Peter, his boss and the Scheduling Manager (I feel bad I cant remember her name because she was the bomb too.)

Ron from Callahans went above and beyond the call of duty! I couldnt be happier with my experience. Not only did he fix my appliance promptly, but he helped explain some of the idiosyncrasies with the Samsung front loading washer. I will definitely be calling him back if/when I have an issue with any of my appliances.

THE FIRST NO-SHOW IVE EVER HAD FROM ALL SERVICES IVE USEDYou should not try this service unless you can take the chance of wasting the whole day. I wish there was a rating of no star. I shouldve been alarmed from the first appointment for the refridgerator water dispenser problem. We were given the time frame of 12-3. At 2:45 I called and was told that the technician was running behind the schedule. He showed up at 3:30. I have to say that he was actually nice and good. Ten days later they called to tell me that they got the part and I had to schedule on only Tuesday or Thursday. I managed to take call in the hospital (Im a doctor) yesterday (Monday) to be able to be home today for the time frame of 12-2. At 1:45 I called and was told that the technician had just arrived at the house before mine and I would be next. Notice that we were never given the technicians cell phone number to contact and had to go through their 888 number! From 3:45 to 5 PM I called that number several times, only got a voicemail and nobody called me back even though I left at least 4-5 messages begging them to let me know what was going on. Eventually I found their 631 number on google and called to learn that THEY HAD CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT EARLIER AND TOLD THE TECHNICIAN NOT TO COME WITHOUT EVEN CALLING ME. Needless to say, I was extremely upset. My husband and I are both doctors and its very hard for us to arrange a day to stay home waiting during that time frame and they take it so casually like We apologize, well reschedule. Id like to see how they would react if it happened to them. Now I expect them to come on my schedule. Ill see how it will be done. My fridge was barely getting cold. I figured if the price was too high I would just replace it. But their man fixed it for a very reasonable price and came when he said he would. Cant beat that.

I have used Callahans several times over the past two years. They are a very reliable and trustworthy company.

Same day service, Ron was in and out in 1/2 hour fixed my dryer and gave me a good price.
