Great local auto repair shop.. do very solid work for a great prices, family run business theyve been there for over 30 years. Definitely a top spot in holbrook/holtsville. Call and ask for Richie and he will take care of you. The biggest thing with mechanic shops is trust and MTA do what they say and get it done on time.

Holbrook MTA has been my only go to mechanic shop. The only issue is that they are always busy, so call first or go in early. Great quality work and friendly service

Horrible!! Took car in for simple inspection. Commited it would be done and ask two look at a couple minor issues. Wanted to keep 3 days. And then the old man flipped out cursing when I wanted it back. Very unprofessional and rude. It is not the same since the son left.

I brought my Mercedes SUV in for a dead battery and A broken passenger seat (Which the battery is Inconveniently located under the passenger seat) and Holbrook MTA literally had it done in under a few hours For a reasonable amount. The owner is super chill and the staff is awesome as well. When I was leaving, I requested a quote for additional minor repairs to my seatbelt, air vent caps and window control Unit..... literally within 5 minutes... I had a text message with the prices. Love this place!!! Definitely my new shop!!!! Thanks Richie and staff!!!!!!

I have been going here for years. I have recommended this place to countless people. They are honest which is a true value to find. I have gone to other shops for issues that came up when they were closed. I have always regretted it. Often needing to get it done right by this shop latter.

Work was satisfactory but when time to pay keys were dropped on counter from guy holding arm high completely disregarding my open hand looking at me. Was very busy atm there but gives no excuse for unfriendly service. For this alone Ill never go back even though is conveniently close to me & a busy place.

Excellent honest service.

Would give zero stars if I could. Brought my car in on a Friday morning and was told that it would be looked at before the end of the day. Called late in the day and was told theyd have time on Monday. Two weeks went by before I was told that they didnt know what was wrong with it.
