This is the second time they have sold me the incorrect meat . You would think that if you ask a butcher what meat is good for grilling he would know which type of meat to recommend. The guy told me he was selling me skirt steak and it was definitely not skirt steak! I’m grilling this and it’s hard as a rock just bought it two days ago.I’ve been here several times thought I’d give the place another opportunity and have always ended getting the wrong type of cut and butcher who has no idea what type of cut they are dealing with . I understand it’s mainly a halal place but u also get many other people going in for other meats .I feel like they are scamming me with this being the second time they sell me wrong type of meat. Last time I’m going . will make sure to let my friends and family know the scam this is

Bello Market has been a Long Island institution that has been around since 1937. They serve only halal meat. They renovated the farm and it is amazing. They have a huge supermarket where you can purchase fresh chicken that is slaughtered just a few minutes before. They have farm fresh eggs in all sizes and shapes from chicken, to quail. Their steak selection has everything from t bone, ny strip, porterhouse, tomahawks you name it! Now they also have duck, and fish as well as pre marinated meats like shish kabab etc...A whole new section is now serving fresh cooked rotisserie chicken which is served with rice and salad and is amazing!Go and check them out and tell us what you think!

We went to purchase fresh Halal meat, mainly chicken. Unlike the expected long lines, we only had a 2-minute wait and were at the counter to order. It seemed like other peoples orders were being fulfilled rather quickly, with most buying sacks of chicken feet, guts and other normally-discarded parts. However, our order for 4 brown chickens took over 25+ minutes despite there being only a handful of people present at the store. We were under the impression that the livestock was present on-premise, but were informed by Faisal (the owner) their farm is now in Pennsylvania. Fresh meat gets delivered frequently, with lamb/beef delivered on Fridays. The five-dozen eggs for $5 deal was quite popular amongst customers. Its important to clarify this establishment isnt certified organic, and dont state theyre organic either; being free-range points to humane treatment, not organic feed and methods. The only organic products in the store were some of the packaged eggs in the fridges; $10 for 54 organic medium eggs seemed good at the time, but is actually a worse deal than Costcos offering. After paying $12/chicken, it seemed like the entire experience wasnt at all convenient, reasonably-priced (considering what it is) and repeatable for us. I dont believe well be revisiting Bello Poultry Market in the near future.

Very clean and well run place. Met with Faisal today while shopping and he not only made sure I got my order, but also provided food complimentary. I went in today for the first time ever with my boyfriend and Talel was so kind and very helpful. It’s clean inside and Talel is very professional. He gave my boyfriend a little tour of the place and made sure we got good quality meat. Everything is fresh and all of the animals are healthy. I definitely recommend this place and I’ve already put the word out to my friends and family.

I travel pretty far to go here because of what they offer. However, I always end up getting the very rude cashier. Customer service is very important and bad service makes an experience not so good. They have increased their size and made it nice. Hopefully this place can offer a more friendly environment for their customers.

Just a small recommendation those who charge please be more friendly, it does not cost them anything.

I told that guy you gave me whole meat he says yes but when I come home and I check he didnt give me the head and leg. Beef and goat meat are so expensive. Beef $4.99 pound . The taste of the chickens in that farm remind me with the great original taste of the chickens, that we use to eat in the past. they also have a great customer service .and so good prices.

You can get Halal meat here. Baby chicken, fresh eggs. Not so good experience with customer service. They need to improve the customer service. Whoever deals in the front is not so polite. Call them before you go over there for the hours. Otherwise you may not get what you came for.

I wonder how their business is still running! I know they are there for long enough! But their behaves!!!! Forget about it. Hope the owner will see the reviews and tell their employees to behave.
