If you have metal to recycle please read below: about 3 weeks ago I brought a large amount of copper to Chaunceys recycling in Bohemia. I was given $90 for my copper. Today I brought half as much copper to Crestwood across the street I was given a $100. Please beware that Chaunceys is robbing from our community. Please do not support this business in any way.

Went for the first time a few weeks ago with a friend of mine. FILLED!, the truck with stainless steel items, and even got a full size pickup truck tool box (also acquired) loaded with material for under $100. Was even offered to take as many pallets as I wanted. Very happy with the kindness and fair pricing.

Don’t go here! I’ve been scrapping for years and decided to give Chauncey a chance, i was wrong. Everything seemed fine at first, he came out to me and asked what metal I had I told him steel. And I went to the inside scale also because I had some copper and a battery and some aluminum. So he payed me out of his pocket 101 dollars and did not get a receipt. I’m not the type to sit there and complain but besides whatever they were burning in the back this place is shady as hell, I knew I had 1100 lbs of steel and at there advertised rate of .08 cents per pound it should have came out to 88 bucks for the steel alone 15 pounds of copper and 2 battery’s should have brought my total much higher. A buddy of mine said chauncy like to negotiate prices, I’m not coming to the scrap yard to argue for the price they advertise when you call up.Thanks a lot Chauncey.

Lonely, it does not have the visible number, I had to ask because I could not find the exact place. Thanks to google map that pointed out its exact location. Detail: right next to the office there is a mini golf course, very cutie.
