Each persons opinion may be different. Here is my experience the first two times I went here it would have been 4 out of five stars no complaints. This time I visited I rate it a two the staf is quite non friendly very quite and while everyone was at the table was still clearly trying to eat dinner they gave us the check and I did not feel welcomed that they wanted us gone before we even finished our food. Keep in mind it was a saturday 5pm non super busy and they close at 9 pm. Ps. Last but not least the food had good taste but.. gave everyone the runs.. yuck.

Good food. Great service. I thought my order didnt go through, but it did after all... but I thought was ordering through postmates, instead it was sent as a uber eats order. Host was great to solve the problem after trying to understand each other. I almost left with nothing, till they found the order that matched mine and realized it was my order. Thanks....

This is my favourite restaurant and has been for some time . Is the prices have become prohibitive to visiting often. But the food is amazing and the service is wonderful, but we just cant afford to go there as often as we used to .
Love this place. The staff is very friendly, professional and personable. The food very tasty. I ordered the chicken kung pao bowlvery filling. I will never go to Panda again. This place won me over. Will definitely go back.

I had the hot and sour soup and the Mongolian beef. They were both very good. It was a little bit pricey but the food quality was excellent. Too bad they dont have indoor dining right now I would have loved to have sat down and had a whole meal inside. But that will change in the future. I will definitely come back here next time that Im in town.
Every time we come here we thoroughly enjoy our experience. Staff is gracious. Food is great and fresh. I am hooked. Today we ordered something new. As delicious as everything was we are going to keep trying everything on the menu. I know we wont be disappointed.
Kung Pao Bowl has great, authentic Chinese food and amazing lunch special deals. I always like the hot and sour soup and typically customize my dishes by adding extra veggies.

Food is okay however they charge 15% gratuity. Service sucks and they still do charge you against your will. Never going back. Plus they are rude Chinese people.
I love this place for lunch! The lunch specials are a great value and the food is outstanding. I have many Chinese options closer to me but I go the extra distance to dine here. If you like hot you must try some of there special chili oil that they prepare there and have on the table (or did before COVID), its hot and very flavorful.

Last night was our first time we went to this fine restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We had great time with the courteous service, with the great cooking and fine drinks and with the modest pay. We will definitely come back again.

My GF and I just got take out from here, and not only was the Mongolian Beef, and Combination Fried Rice, the best I have ever had, but the owner was there to personally introduce herself, gave us two free Thai Iced teas, and shared some stories about her 18 YEARS of being in business, as we waited for our food. This is 100 percent the best chinese we have had in Huntington Beach, and one of the nicest restaurant owners we have ever met... Bravo!!!!!

Yesterday was the first time we went to this restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the good service, with the first-rate cooking and booze and with the honest price. We will definitely visit there in a short time.
Plates and pita sandwiches are all amazing here. Got the lamb pita with tzatziki sauce and it was so delicious. The zucchini chips were good but a little soggy. Prices are on the higher side for what you are paying for, but on par with classic Huntington Beach prices. Would definitely come here again. Happy to have an authentic Greek restaurant on New-bury street. FYI the place inside is small with limited seating.

Weve been coming here for a few years now and they always make you feel welcome like youre part of the family. All the Employees are really nice. Food is excellent here, love the pork fried rice and the beef chow mein. They have these cute animal paintings on the walls that my granddaughter loves. The restrooms are always nice and clean. Just a nice place to take the family.
I am a tourist. Hands down best Chinese food I have eaten. delivery was on time and polite. food was fresh and hot. price matched the portions. I mean what else can you ask for? I will be going in to see this place before I leave.
I visit this spot a lot since I work close by. I love how the customer service is always great and they keep the spot neat constantly. Rates are reasonable and they serve sizeable portions.

Delivery time took too long to arrive and our food wasnt hot by the time they delivered it. They should hire more delivery people. As for the food, it was not worth the dinner price. Maybe dine in experience is better. I ordered on Sunday at 430p and food didnt arrive until 6:19pm. The food was barely warm. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
It had been years since we had been here, and tonight we decided we wanted Chinese food in our own community of HB. What a wonderful surprise to find such amazing food and great service. My husband had the house chow mein and I had the Mongolian tofu--we shared egg fried rice. We arrived one hour before closing and when our food was served, it was fresh, hot, and DELICIOUS! Lastly, the Oolong tea was everything I needed to top off this magnificent meal. We will definitely be back soon with the kids.
Food was absolutely delicious! Only down fall was I called in a order to go since I was on lunch and they took over 25 minutes to bring out the food. Other than that, its great.

This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant in the United States. It is not too fancy, but I like it. I feel like a part of the Family every time I walk in the front door. They have Hot and Sour Soup that is second to none. The menu is easy and yet varied. You simply choose a variety of ways to cook the food (Hot, Sweet and Sour, Mandarin, Orange, or about 10 different ways), and which protein you want cooked, (from Beef, to Chicken, Shrimp, and more), and it arrives just so wonderfully cooked. They have Specials, make sure to check out the Specials board, as well as seasonal wines and other goodies. I have only eaten at one which may be a little better, but Meinz, Germany is a long way from here.

Ive been coming to this restaurant for eight years. My husband and I eat here 2-3 times a month. The food is prepared well and consistent which is better than most restaurants. We love their kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, garlic beef, honey walnut shrimp, and fried rice. Their butterfly shrimp is best eaten fresh instead of ordering as take out. They have brown rice as an option at no extra charge.
Food is awesome and the inside decor is really cool! The inside is very clean and the customer service is fantastic! The owner is a very nice lady who is so personable and down to earth.

Food was okay. Their service is lacking. I wasnt offered a refill until I asked for boxes and the bill, yet the group of white folks next to us got refills right after their food came out. Hmmm?

Its hard to find real chow mein (not lo mein) in H.B. Not here either. But the cashew chicken was good and the portions were generous. The egg flower soup is good too.
Nice place with round tables to share food on the rotating middle plate and paintings on the walls. It was quite difficult to explain to the manager, what vegan means, but the dish was excellent, and the side steamed vegetables were so good.

I ordered food to-go and a fairly large order, so I figured it would take a while as well as possibly be incorrect. The person I spoke to over the phone was nice but there was a language barrier and when I tried to explain where I lived, he wasnt understanding. Finally he got it down correctly and we were able to start my order. I was told it would take an hour. An hour went by and no food and no call. About 1 hour and 20 minutes later I got a phone call from the delivery driver. He had no idea where to go so I gave him step-by-step instructions, but he still wasnt able to figure it out. So I walked out to the middle of the street, walked down the street, and waved him down. He handed me my food and I said thank you and was about to leave when he said, wheres my tip? I said umm, no Im sorry but Im only paying for my food. Im not going to 1. give someone a tip who was 30 minutes late by the time I got my food, so it was cold, and 2. give someone a tip whos requesting one, like youre deserving of one. What the heck. To make matters worse ... the food was only mediocre. It was cold and tasted blan. No flavor to it. I dont recommend this place.

We finally tried this place for dinner about a month ago. WE LOVED IT! Got the Mongolian Trio, Broccoli Beef, & the Cream Cheese & Crab meat Wontons. This visit, we also,tried the Walnut Shrimp with a sweet cream cheese sauce. It was all delicious, but the Wontons & Walnut Shrimp are OMG wonderful.Were here on our third visit & everything tasted wonderful again.Service the first two visits was attentive & they didnt even get irritated when I spilled hot Egg Flower soup all over my husband & the table & the floor.....This current visit, however, our waiter is rather unfriendly & seems like he would rather be anywhere else. No doubt this is a one off. (Fingers crossed!)We will definitely be back more.

I always feel so guilty after consuming Chinese food, due to the copious amount of sodium and fats Ive ingested.Whenever Im craving Chinese food in Huntington Beach, this is my go-to place for Chinese.Reasonable lunch specials that also include soup and some sort of fried appetizer (cream cheese wonton or egg roll). My favorite is their fish fillet with hot garlic sauce. The fish is breaded and fried to a perfect texture, and the sauce is flavorful!Considering the name of the restaurant is Kung Pao Bowl, I certainly had to try one of their kung pao bowls. Their kung pao shrimp is delicious! They mix in a lot of chili peppers along with scallions, celery, and peanuts to give the kung pao shrimp this intense zing.Ive also tried their Fried Rice, Chow Mein, and Curry Chicken. Ive been satisfied with every dish thus far!Good customer service as well.
