This was the first time I used Target Optical and I am so pleased - not only with the selection of frames and the substantial savings, but particularly with Stuart, the Optician in Target! When I brought my new prescription to Stuart, I explained that I hadn’t had new glasses in 2 years because my last prescription, which was filled at Cohens Optical, was awful. It was the first time I had a progressive lens and while I understand it takes time to get used to progressive lenses, after 3 return visits to the Optician at Cohen’s I received no satisfaction. The optician told me I was I was a “quitter” and had a negative attitude and that it took time! I’d say 2 years was plenty of time. If I didn’t place my eyes in just the right spot, I couldn’t read or see clearly at a distance. I paid over $500 for those glasses! That being said, after being highly recommended, I decided to try Target Optical in Huntington Station. Stuart assured me that I would be very satisfied and he was correct! Stuart and his 40 plus years of experience courteously and professionally provided me with fabulous progressives lenses in a great-looking frame and half the price! I applaud Stuart for his knowledge and skill and I applaud Target for employing him. You have a new customer for sure! Thank you.

Marina, at the Target Optical Department, that I worked with, was absolutely amazing. I was utterly impressed with all her product knowledge and her ability, to ultimately find the perfect frames, for me — honestly and to the point, with complete empathy, to fit my necessity for a larger frame.She took her time, and even though she and her, coworkers were very busy, she still was able to multi-task, between various customers, and I still felt, completely dedicated from her.She really showed her customer service savviness, with every detail of the sale, with me. Based on her interaction with helping me, I’ve already told a few people, to return to her, for both contacts and frames. It was an awesome experience, thanks to her, and based on her, “above and beyond,” rapport. As long as I need contacts and glasses, I will surely be returning to Target Optical, in Huntington Station, NY, for years to come.

I come to this location every year for my daughter’s glasses. You can’t beat the prices. Stuart was a great help picking out glasses and Marina assisted us on the pick up processes. She made sure my daughters glasses fit well before we left

Marina went above and beyond for the glasses fitting and the doctor was attentive and did a great job of checking my eyes.I am glad that I went and I’m going to make sure that I get that same pair each time I go back to target.

Stuart did a great job fixing my glasses. That was a life saver. Mirina and Dr. Llambiri went out of their way to help me better understand my prescription and eye glass settings. This is where you should get your glasses.

I am so happy with my experience. i had to get replacement glasses only. the people working there are fantastic, friendly and made everything so easy. more than that the best prices around...i paid 2.5 - 3 times as much when i went to pearl vision. i have eye med insurance.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon to get replacement frame and the customer service was amazing and the young lady was extremely helpful.

So I went in because my glasses may have gotten loose or something where the lens was moving back and forth. I went in to get some help. The gentleman with glasses had an attitude and just pretty much told me that’s how they are. I’ve never had a pair like this. Thinking of how the sales associate tried to sell me stuff with the glasses... crooks. They lost my business there.

Dr. Turkmen knows what she is doing. She is calm and collected. She explained everything to me at the end of the exam. From there I was able to pick out a nice pair of glasses and I got a great deal though my insurance!

Dr. L was well spoken and easy to communicate with. Aside from knowing what he was talking about, it was especially nice to have my appointment start right on time. More doctors should be this prompt!

Customer service is the worst ever. Returned a box of contact lenses over three weeks ago and have still not received a refund. Every time I call the manager tells me that the system is down. BS, I know, but even the guest services there, is now telling me to dispute my credit card charges!! Never ever go there, though the doctor there is great.

The service here is ridiculously bad. By far the worst service I have ever received at any optical center or eyeglass store anywhere. This place is very understaffed. But any staff present are slow, unapologetic, incompetent, and rude. They put no effort or speed into their jobs because their salaries are not commission based (I was told this by one of them!). Do not come here. Your time will be wasted. Especially if you will be served by Stuart. The only respectable staff member is Jim. He’s not fast or anything but I appreciated the sincere advice and input he gave me on various subjects regarding my eyeglasses and eyeglass care. I almost gave a two star rating because of him. The Levittown location is excellent. Go there.

The Huntington Target Optical has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. It took 3 months from the time I ordered the glasses to when I finally received them. The salesperson who is also the manager kept telling me that they will be in next week. This went on for 3 months. I had gone to the store 13 times to inquire about the glasses. I tried to cancel the order 3x, every time being talked out of it. It was November and Target Optical had already charged my vision insurance for the year, so if I cancelled it I would lose it. They kept telling me the lenses came in cracked or the frames were broken so they had to send it back. Dont go here! Beware!

The people who work there are nice....but the company dose not tell you if they take your insurance or not until you come in. I got glass last year for my daughter. Now I not sure I will take after I take my daughter to another optometrist that takes our insurance.

I made an appointment about a month in advance. gave my insurance information over the phone when I made the appointment. showed up to my appointment early, was told not sure if we take that insurance (my mother who has the exact same insurance got glasses and an eye exam there within the last year.)I then asked the man (dont remember his name) called himself the manager, if the frames I brought in could be used with my prescription. he scoffed at my choice to order the frames I wanted considering I cant find them anywhere else, and then when I told him Id like to make an appointment for payday when I can pay out of pocket and he wouldnt book for me insisted I go through the website. then when I was looking at frames afterwards before leaving, I was showing my husband and the two women came from the back, not sure who they are but they and the man I was dealing with began to, for lack of better terminology, talk sh*t about me and almost poke fun at me for not knowing if I had the right insurance and why I cant use a keyboard to find this out before coming in, essentially bothered that I wasted their time. (I was early, and their previous appointment was a no-show so they werent super busy) but they continued to talk about me not realizing I was there until I said something before leaving. EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude and absolutely not helpful at all. will not be returning to target optical. absolute joke.

Customer service was the best of any place we have gone for our glasses. They are our store from now on!

We have been there twice, once last year and just last month. Both times were wonderful experiences. The Doctor is great and the staff is very courteous.

I was very happy with the eye exam and the selection of frames. The customer service at this location is horrible. Its been 3 weeks and i still have no glasses. After trying to call - they let the phone ring for 2 hours straight - no one answers, i finally went down therer. I was given some story of how my frames were broken in the lab and they were on backorder, but instead they were just going to send the lenses overnight DHL and they had the frames in the store. That was 3 days ago. Still nothing. Again i try to call, it just rings and rings. I go down there, im told the lenses are in transit, its been days this overnight transit had no more information than that. Im told go shopping come back in a little bit and ill get to the bottom of this. I come back a half hour later, the guy is sitting there by himself, sees me and then says oh ill try calling now. Unreal!! Then he says he cant get through to them and will call me with answers before the end of business today. Well its 11:00 pm, im sure they are closed, and i heard nothing. I would not use this location. I heard other Target locations are fantastic. Try another location.
