I called several days ago to inquire about youth ski rentals. The gentleman who picked up the phone was very professional in answering my questions, and that is why we chose to drive further to this location to get the rentals instead of a few other ones that are closer. When we got there tonight, we were helped by two gentlemen. Both were very polite and professional in helping my boys check their sizes and do the paperwork. Now we just wait for about two weeks to go back to pick up the skis and boots as they need time for tune ups etc. Thank you!

Believe me when I say I never write reviews but my experience at Sno-Haus was so pleasant that I had to. The staff was incredible. Extremely kind, down to earth and helpful. Helped me find boots, skis and poles to my liking then helped me out to my car. Let me pick them up early too for no charge. I was smiling the whole time! Great price for ski rental and equipment is in excellent condition. If youre local and wishing to rent or buy any snow related equipment, dont hesitate, come here.

Workers are exceptionally helpful and great deals on skis and rentals. If you purchase skis here, you get a free wax and sharpen whenever you need. Can’t recommend buying here enough.

Second time here, first was last winter for a rental. Great rental rates, less than a half of what I paid previously when renting at the mountain.This time came in to buy a set of novice level ski gear. Older gentleman with a European accept (maybe Austrian?) was very accommodating of a newbie and took his time explaining basics and giving me plenty of choices. Helpful and polite, good experience.Prices for buying this years equipment seems to be exactly the same as Amazon or other retailers

This is simply the best ski shop on Long Island . They choices of equipment are literally endless. The staff is very knowledgeable and will get you in the right equipment for you without upselling you to something that you do not need. Their ability to fit my odd size feet into comfortable boots that are matched to my skill level is just fantastic. Highly recommended

The staff here really do care about you getting the right equipment. They are always stocked with quality ski and snowboarding equipment, however the prices are a pretty high for some of the clothing.Leased equipment is in good condition and very fairly priced.

Had a really great experience here! I went here because Ive been looking into ski boots. Im a beginner skier, but my past experiences with rental boots have really messed up any fun I could have had skiing. I have really muscular calves and have a hard time fitting into any boots. I lost circulation to my foot last year and the pain I experienced walking and even sitting in those boots was not worth the tiny amount of time I could bear being on the slopes. I had looked into custom boots, but those ranged upward from $800 and I just couldnt afford that. So when I went to Snow Haus, I kind of expected to try on boots and be really upset about their inability to fit my calves. The Sales Associate Jeff helped me with a few boots and was VERY patient with me. He helped customize the boots so they would actually fit my legs without pain, something I never ever thought was possible. It took about 3 hours to fit my tricky feet and Jeff never seemed upset or irritated about it, nor did he try and rush me. They also stand behind their products so I was told if I the fit seemed off on my boots at anytime, they would help me with it because it was covered for a lifetime! At the $200 something price tag, I couldnt be happier. Will go back for any other snow needs I have.

Very knowledgeable, Prices are average. (dont come here expecting to find a steal of a deal)They carry a WIDE range of mens and womens apparel that rivals most chain stores. I spent a good 30 min trying on jacket after jacket with Karen (Who was incredibly helpful) she took the time to find what I was looking for and REALLY knew her stuff.I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful shopping experience i had there.Oh, and they are closed on Mondays.. Just thought you should know!

Best ski shop on long island. Ive been skiing for over 40 years. Yesterday I broke a pair of skis and needed an immediate replacement for a trip that was coming up. Without the time to do the normal research I had to buy a pair of skis Ivan in the ski sales was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He helped me pick out a great pair of skis and bindings that match the way I ski so late in the season I was very nervous they wouldnt have anything.

Most knowledgable staff on Long Island when it comes to skiing! They will not sell you the most expensive equipment on their shelf, they will only sell you the equipment that suits you best. 👍👍👍

I just picked up my snowboard from getting a tune up and to say im upset is an understatement.... im pretty sure Im not supposed to have grooves on my base after it gets waxed. I even left a nice tip hoping i would get a quality job.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. I went in august so they didnt have a huge selection, but im looking to go back before the season kicks off.

Been an avid customer for over 10 years, having bought several snowboard setups and countless clothing and accessories as well. Staff goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. I have been to other ski shops, however none of them have ever really stacked up the same.

I had some season rentals from Sno-Haus over the past few years and bought a few items here and there. Older staff is pretty good, the rest is mostly serving one purpose only- converting oxygen to CO2. One reviewer said- pricey, but OK considering the target demograhpic. Couldnt agree with him more.Coming from out west, shopping for good ski stuff here is quite frustrating. So, in absence of real stores, Sno-Haus and Sundown have to do...
