Great selection and service. The staff is very helpful in assisting you in finding what youre looking for (and even some things that you maybe werent). Cant wait to go back in when they re-open for browsing, but until then well continue to order online!

My favorite Indy record store, the locations have changed over the years but theyve always been quietly the best shop in town for finding that life-changing album.

Awesome spot, a must-stop on the used vinyl hunt in Indy. Prices are fair and the selection is eclectic and offbeat. Staff is usually spinning some surly jams to dig along to. My only regret is finding way too much here.

Its beyond comprehension this place hasnt opened back up for in store browsing. Even the record stores down in the peoples republic of Bloomington are open. Its absurd. This used to be a really nice place.

Horrible communication! Shipping practices are poor. My package has been sitting in their store with the shipping label created for 7 days and has yet to be given to the usps. They made no mention that there were any shipping delays on their part. This is not a USPS issue as it has not been handed over to them yet. I will ask for a refund and will probably be told it shipped already.

When you think record store this is the type of place you want to go. Great location, friendly employees, and they always are having small events that invite the community, like the street vinyl sale we just went to.

Rotten store. Have not updated their web site which says in store shopping. While other stores in the country let their customers in (this is what makes record collecting fun, you stooges) to browse while taking cautious measures this hole in the wall remains shut and sells only online. Avoid like the plague and covid combined cause if they ever do open their doors to the public youll need a space suit just to enter. They should not be allowed to participate in record store day. And why are you, oh thats right so you can gouge your victims afterwards.

Luna is a staple in the Broadripple area. My husband and I were making our family rounds on Christmas Eve when we drove by and saw that they were open. We of course decided to stop and browse the $2 bins because well $2 records. I think we may have started a new Christmas tradition. Anyway, the staff clearly loves music and is very knowledgeable. Whether you know what youre looking for, or just browsing for something new, I would highly suggest this local gem.

Luna is my favorite record store in the Indianapolis area. They have such a wide selection of records I often would get lost in there looking around. The staff are welcoming and the inside is awesome. Everytime I am in the Indy area I try to make sure I stop by!

Ive stopped by twice because Google said you were open. Drove 25 minutes and was closed.Edit: So Ive wasted my time a 3rd time now. No one has edited the hours on Google. So, I edited my review from 5 stars to 2. I even suggested hourly edits through Google itself so the Luna could easily just accept the changes. Its so easy to edit the hours too. Its a basic business practice. I honestly doubt Ill shop here again. I can easily get albums on discogs... I was just trying to support local businesses.

Love Luna! Its easy to see they have a passion for music. I really enjoy their selection of cassettes, too. Luna is a clean shop with a great atmosphere. Records are priced fair and the staff is very knowledgeable about their product.

This was my first time visiting Luna and I was impressed. They had a very difficult to find album in stock, which I was unable to find anywhere else. The store was exceptionally well stocked, I wish I had the time to peruse there massive collection of new and used records. I will definitely be visiting again.

The best record store in Indy. If they dont have an album in stock, they will try to order it for you. They are very persistent and diligent and will give you a call as soon as they get a hold of what youre looking for. Im at Luna often, shopping for new music and the clerks are great and will point me to new releases and can answer any of my questions. I love this store.

Got an album for Record Store Day 2019 and it skipped due to a manufacturing defect. Called the store and John set the last available one aside for me. They Exchanged it the same day and the new one hasnt had any issues. Also they have free stickers, which is always nice.

They have a wide selection of lps and fed. They know their stuff. If you end up going, give yourself enough time to go down memory lane and back. Enjoy👍

Amazing record store. Cozy with a wide variety of new and used records and other goodies throughout the store. Could spend hours here and its in a great part of Indy. Cant wait to go back when were in town.

Huge inventory with a well taken care of store. Nice atmosphere and easy to navigate selections. Prices are around 20% more then online which is to be expected. Staff is helpful and greet us everytime we enter. I have yet to purchase anything since the prices are higher so I can not attest to the grading standards of their vinyl.

I love Luna Records. The staff there is always pretty nice, and the store is really all a record store needs to be and should be. They have a great selection of classic, popular, and obscure vinyl, both new and used, along with offering some fun stuff like socks, shirts, beer glasses, stickers, etc. Definitely a must see place for vinyl lovers of indianapolis.

My absolute favorite record shop in the city. An unbeatable selection of new and used records, bargain bins, and all other vinyl needs. Employees are always friendly, store is laid out nicely, so its easy to browse, and used records are actually alphabetized completely instead of just by first letter- which imo gives it the greatest advantage against other shops.

The vibe is weird from all the other record stores I’ve been to. The prices were high. There’s better places to buy vinyl but if this is the one closest to you, it’s not terrible. I’d go for used only, personally.

Im a big fan of Luna. I love supporting the local spots when I can. Unfortunately, it does come with a higher price on some occasions, but not always. Definitely check this place out, especially if youre in to vinyl

Not open. Nothing on Google searches to let you know its not open. Took a 30 minute drive out of our way for nothing.

Tons of selection, including a dedicated Metal section which is always a plus. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Almost every time Ive come in looking for a new release, they have had it. The one time I got a bad copy of a record (manufacturers fault) they exchanged it very quickly with no fuss.

This store is hands down the best record store Ive ever been in. It beats Amoeba in San Fran. Great collection, lots of stuff, hard to find records, cool staff, reasonable prices. Id drive from Chicago to Indy just to visit this store for a day. So happy with the albums I found. Spent way more than I would have expected.

Fantastic selection of new vinyl. Prices were just a dollar or two above internet pricing....didnt mind spending the extra to support local businesses. Used selection was decent but was a bit over priced compared to others in the area. The collectors section was nice to focus efforts for those looking for rare used records.

An Indy favorite! I hadnt visited the Broad Ripple location ever, heck, hadnt been in since the shop was near 86th and Ditch in the late 90`s! Awesome selection of vinyl (from New to used LPs, Beatles to Run The Jewels, jazz to Indie and punk and a whole lot more!), special editions, reprints... They also sell t-shirts, mugs, buttons for your punk rock denim jackets, zines (didnt know those still existed!)... Be sure to look under the vinyl displays as theres a metric sh**-ton of records hiding down there! Watch your step towards the back of the store, its just a little bit of a height difference, but if youre clumsy like me, save yourself by paying attention to where you walk! Parking is on the street (on a Saturday early afternoon we had to park a few streets behind the store on a residential street), no meters to feed and you can walk on the Monon too. Not sure how the traffic patterns are going to change on College Ave with the introduction of the Red Line, so do your homework, take at least $25 to spend and dont you *dare* snatch that Run The Jewels record that I didnt grab during my visit (bc Im broke! 😂)! Im planning many more visits to complete my Beatles collection and am wicked happy to support local businesses! 💜

This is the best record shop Ive ever been to. Hands down. They treat me with the upmost respect. I havent had a single bad experience dealing with these guys. If I lived closer, I wouldnt shop anywhere else.

This is my go to place for records. The staff is always helpful, and full of suggestions. Plus, they have a ton of great in store performances and events.

Pretty solid selection of vinyl, helpful ANF friendly staff, and definitely a cool place even just to hang out at. Only down side is that their most affordable used vinyl is barely visible and down on the ground so makes for difficult extended searching and a lot of apologizing for being in others way.
