NEW HOME BUYERS make sure you take pictures of all appliances and especially the A/C unit inside and outside the home. Make sure all appliances have been installed with the correct parts so that way in the next year or two when they start messing up you can prove it was not installed correctly and not have to pay out of pocket for their mistakes. Make sure you double check that the roof was installed the right way....ours apparently has hundreds of holes all over it from being improperly installed. Every appliance we have was not installed correct. They used the wrong parts on out a/c unit costing $3000 out of pocket. There’s water damage all over our home from the roof not being installed correct. They left dirt all under the floor before installing the carpet so if it gets wet than there’s a huge brown stain on there. Just make sure they properly installed everything right after they finish setting it up and also take pictures so they can’t say that “they didn’t do that”. They also improperly installed the dry wall and there’s bucking walls everywhere, I’m sure the holes in the roof didn’t help with that. It’s horrible. Also....the home will keep resettling and make sure you get that warranty so they can fix all the cracks and everything else that’s gonna happen. Good luck!

We went here on a whim to see if they carried some houses that we had looked at online in person. Unfortunately, they did not have what we were originally looking for in stock. Mark was very kind and told us we could look around at the houses they did have available if we wanted and so we did. There was no pressure to buy, no guided tour, and so we were free to look at our own speed and talk about what we liked and/or didnt without sellers hovering over us. Afterwards, we went back inside and discussed houses that wed found and were interested in and what changes we may or may not want. We filled out paperwork to get the process started and are currently waiting on the loan companies to see our options. Weve yet to buy a house, but were planning on going back and purchasing from them as soon as we hear back from the banks.

We decided to buy a Clayton home and stopped by Johnson City and was greeted by Josh Daniels. I Can’t say enough about how he was with us every step of the way. He listened to what we wanted and gave up tips on things we weren’t sure about. This took about a year because the home we wanted had a waiting list, but Josh kept us in the loop the whole time. He still keeps in touch to see how things are going and does whatever he can to make us happy. The whole Staff at Clayton Homes of Johnson City are wonderful. Even when Josh wasn’t available they were there to answer any questions we may have had. Also we found out they are a lot less expensive then most Clayton dealers in a 100 mile radius. I highly recommend taking a trip over to see them. You won’t regret it.

We worked with Stevie. She went above and beyond for us. We really liked the home we chose and the customization possible. Stevie also helped with finding us financing options. Though things ultimately didnt work out for us due to land purchasing issues we were highly satisfied with the service and professional given us. If we had the opportunity to work with Stevie again we certainly would.

We recently moved into our Clayton home that we purchased from Clayton in Johnson City. They have been wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Josh Daniels, sales associate, at this location! He was constantly communicating with us through the entire process. Anytime we had a question or problem, he immediately got an answer for us. Once we moved in, the service department quickly came out to fix some minor issues. This has been a great experience!
