Hello how’s everybody doing today I usually does not complain but the customer service advisor robbery has had my vehicle over a week I have an extended warranty with a company they’ve authorized three times saying they’re waiting for the order for them to pay the dealership they saying they want to get paid first the warranty company says how are we going to pay out if they haven’t completed the work I would advise you to stay far away from this dealership I’ve tried to give them a second chance Family member bought a vehicle from them three years ago with a bad transmission took the month before the issue was resolved thought this dealership had higher standing thank you guys for listening you guys have a great afternoon

This dealership has been nothing but problems. As we were in the process of buying our car they told us a price then came back and told us they gave us the wrong price! The salesman told us they were honor it.Then we went in to financing told the gentleman we did not want any extended warranty, well they dinged us a thousand bucks, shame on us and shame on them. Im sure thats how they made up the difference they said they gave us a quote on the wrong price.The Mazda CX-5 we bought red was driven by one of the managers and was told that the scratch would be repaired to my liking!What they ended up doing was just trying to touch up the scratch instead of sanding it and painting it properly! They had the car a week and this is what it ended up looking like.They did tell us yes they would now have it painted properly, and gave us a loaner. After two and a half weeks I finally called on my car to find out what was going on, as no one tried to contact me!After looking around for my car they finally found out that a part was ordered and on backorder.Two and a half weeks later the final part came in and ended up going to Hawk Chevy to have part put on.I have been to this dealer three times and 45 minutes to get there every time just to get one problem fixed.Im very disappointed and hawk Mazda.

It was an average car dealer interaction. Was told we had 9 AM apt. Just programming key fob should only take 5 minutes. About 10 we took courtesy shuttle to restaurant for breakfast. At 10:30 got a phone call it no message tried contacting them. Took several calls to get correct person. Shuttle arrived about 11. I was late for work and had them drop me at mall. My friend went to dealership and picked up car. New fob was programmed and functional. Will need to replace old fob and repeat process.Everyone was polite and friendly. Received the requisite service, just make sure you allow extra time and leaving vehicle maybe good idea. But you must pick it up before they close at 5.

Two times I went there for an oil change and both times I had the same experience! I called made the appointment they asked if I was going to wait for the car I said yes, when I got there they asked me if I was going to wait for the car I said yes and they said OK you could have a seat in the waiting room and will get you when it’s done! The first time was two hours and 15 minutes we waited, we went for lunch gave him my cell number came back asked him if it was ready they said no they said you could wait in the waiting room will come and tell get you when it’s done and I said OK. The second time I was waiting for the car she said go sit in the waiting room if you’re waiting and will come and get you I said yes I’m waiting and she said ok we will get you when it’s done! Two hours later I go up there and the car is ready they called my house number to let me know the car is ready! Obviously they’re not paying attention to what’s going on because why would they call my house phone when I’m there waiting for the car!! But yet I see them coming back there for other people to get them for their cars! Very dissatisfied with that wasted about 2 hours of my time! Actually I was thinking of purchasing a truck was looking around seen you had a few but now with that type of service I will most likely look elsewhere!

UPDATE: Bill called me it turns out he hadn’t received any of my messages. He was amazing to work with and got my ac fixed by working with Chevy for me. Thank you Bill!Bought a used Traverse here 3 years ago and have had nothing but problems with ac since. I brought it in 3 days after purchase because ac went out, then again every year since and it’s never been fully fixed obviously since I have to keep bringing it in. Brought it in last May and was told “well this could be because we didn’t fully fix it last time, but we can’t be for sure.” Of course the used car warranty I bought is up and Hawk won’t pay for the repair so I called Chevy who is also unwilling to help and told me to talk to Bill Webb at the dealership….problem being he won’t return my calls. They are awful! Go elsewhere for your purchases and repairs.

Went in today just to shop around didnt know if I was ready to buy just yet. The welcoming environment at Hawk Chevy made me so comfortable I ended up leaving in a 2017 Impala. Three times I have taken my car (2018 Equinox) to be serviced for an obvious noise. The first time I was told it wasnt a noise, and then oh thats normal. The second time I took it back. This time a worker got in the car with me to listen and he agreed that the noise was not normal. My car was kept for well over two hours. They finally told me that they found a piece of metal stuck somewhere and they pulled it out. The problem has been fixed. For two to three days I didnt hear that sound and then it came back with a vengeance, louder and obvious. The third time I was told that there is no noise. When I came to pick up my car, started it, and pressed the accelerator to pull out of their parking lot, the noice was there and very loud. How could you all not hear it. I was not only told that there wasnt a noise BUT I need back break pads and they are willing to do the work for $900. Now I have to find someone who can identify the problem and permently fix it. I cannot wait to get rid of this equinox.

Bought a 2017 Chevy Malibu. Had after market speakers installed by Best Buy. Best Buy unplugged the park assist. They wanted to charge me 200 to plug in a plug. They didn’t want to give me my car back or drop the price. I understand that they need make a couple dollars to look at my car but 200 to plug in a unplugged plug?? I had to fight them to lower the charged 150. That’s the reason why I wouldn’t go back here. I guess I’m just a dollar to them. Fair price for fair work thumbs down

First off the staff here is super friendly. Jonathan was our sales person and he was FANTASTIC. Wasn’t pushy, fun and very professional. We purchased a Used 2015 Jeep Cherokee.The showroom was clean and they definitely followed COVID precautions. We also met the Sales Manager Tim who was also great. The whole process was awesome from beginning to end. The finance manager Ed was thorough with explaining the paperwork and getting us the best rate possible. If you’re looking for a car this is the place to go! Make sure to ask for Jonathan and say Bree and Nick sent you!

I ordered a corvette c8 back in the early spring of 2020. My sales rep, Mindy McCorkle, reached out to me on a corvette facebook group after my local dealership threw in the towel. She told me they had allocations for 2020 and could get me one. Then Covid happened and Chevy has experienced a lot of production delays. My turn finally came earlier this spring, and the car was finally spec’ed out and accepted for production. I received it yesterday, august 30th, 2021, almost two years after placing my initial order.I couldn’t really have had a better dealership than Hawk or a better sales rep than Mindy. She’s a super nice lady and a straight shooter. No broken promises or unpleasant surprises. I can’t thank them enough for finally making it come true.

I bought a truck from here March 2, 2021. It is June 25 and the DMV here (AL) has not received the paperwork. I need a tag. I have called several times and emailed and the only response I get is “We will look in to it”. Called twice today was forwarded to the service Dept, then disconnected. Second time was forwarded to an answering machine. (Not the first time that has happened). Sad to say I will be meeting w my lawyer Monday to try and get this resolved. I gave 2 stars because purchasing the truck was a good experience and the employees were friendly and helpful.

With the computer chip shortage there were not many dealerships with the vehicle I wanted. I called and made arrangements to pick up the vehicle with financing completed. Of course, you can’t pre-arrange anything at a dealership, and I still had to wait a couple of hours before being able to drive off the lot. This happened 5/1, and I was issued a temp tag expiring 5/31 while they processed title and sent to my permanent address in Colorado. I received my title paperwork in the middle of June, AFTER the temp I’d received was expired. I took my paperwork to the DMV and was told the paperwork was not completed properly. I had to send it back. I spoke with Mary who sent me a UPS label to send back to her. I used the UPS label and sent back to her in the middle of July. It is the end of August and I still don’t have my title so I put in a call to them. My CO temp tag expires 8/31 so I need this issue resolved. I was informed they sent my title to the DMV in Denver. I insisted they track down my title for me. I received a ton of attitude from MJ and her office manager in Title and Registration. The DMV told MJ they don’t track down people’s mail and they sent it to some Tremont address in Denver. I’m assuming DMV main office. With a whole lot of attitude, the office manager questioned my lifestyle and getting things done ( I live and travel in an RV) and was very condescending. I had a rule before to never purchase from a dealership because it’s a nightmare. This dealership lived up to every bit of the nightmare I have avoided most of my adult life. I’ll go back to purchasing used from private parties after this experience.

They increased the final selling price in my contract which I didn’t even notice till later that day. They didn’t wanna lower it so I had to cancel two insurances to get that money back, they said it was gonna take 4 to 6 weeks for that money to be deducted from the principal. It’s been 2 months and nothing has happened!!! Very upset with the situation and even thinking of getting a lawyer since they just keep ignoring the situation. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CONTRACTS!!

My experience was outstanding the general manager Jim, saw me standing in the showroom and asked to help.. I told him I was looking to order a brand new 2021 Chevy TrailBoss. There are certain things that I wanted specifically the larger rims black package the bedliner sprayed etc. etc. he quickly walked me to his office. I purchased a Chevy SUV about 6 weeks ago. My experience with the sales associate, Anthony Guiliano, was initially positive. He was friendly and helpful. Immediately after purchasing a SUV from Hawk Chevy, I left a 5-star review. However, since then, about 6 weeks after purchasing the vehicle, 2-stars is now appropriate. Heres why: 1) The SUV only came with (1) FOB (Chevy remote key for keyless entry and start). I should have insisted at the time of purchase that there be (2), which is the amount of keys you are usually provided when purchasing any vehicle. I contacted the Hawk sales associate to no avail. Then, I contacted one of the Hawk managers. They said that theyd look into it. Its been several weeks now and I still do not have a second key for the vehicle. For a vehicle that cost over $37K, this is unacceptable. Hawk should have either provided (2) FOBs at the time of purchase, or sent me a new one immediately. Not doing so is poor customer service and unprofessional. 2) The other reason the review needs to change to (2) stars concerns the vehicle DVD headphones. This SUV always comes with (4) sets of headphones. When I purchased the vehicle, it only came with (2). It was indicated that they functioned at purchase time. However, neither of them work. Ive changed batteries, visited Chevy forums, etc. Again, for a vehicle over $37K, this is unprofessional. Prior to selling the vehicle, Hawk should have both provided the correct amount of headphones and ensured they were in functioning order.

No one is willing to help me, or fix the problem that they caused. From the Managers, to sales persons, absolutely everything about Hawk Dealership is horrible. Ive had 3 Chevys in the past 99 blazer transmission went out 37000. Cost 3,200 and never left lot with. Traded 2002 trail blazer headlight kept blowing out. Had to take to shop approx a dozen times to be replaced under warranty since brand new. Have to remove battery and others to reach so gave me loaner every time. Sometimes 3 to 5 days at a time. So when new 2004 Tahoe came out. I believe Oct 2003 purchased. ANOTHER BIG MISTAKE!!! 9000 MILE MOTOR BLEW... Fixed under warranty and immediately went out and purchased new 2005 Dodge Ram Never 1 problem!!! So it cost a fortune in trade INS and they could care less. If you notice and trailblazer that year and year after head light out light never recalled.Have a small business have 2010 caravan 2014 caravan and 2009 jeep liberty.Not any problems except brakes as normal. Office manager has 2021 NEW BLAZER. Leaking red fluid they said rear end. (NOT) In shop again and they say its the radiator leaking Rusted out.WOW!!! What a Joke Buyer Beware. Chevy does not stand behind their product. How in the Hell does an brand new truck have ruster radiator. Good luck if your not to smart to and purchased one. Chevy do SUCK!. I used to be STUPID!!!! I wreaked ram. So looking for truck. Got a great price from private seller on 2005 Z71. Just to haul as necessary. Lady lost husband so it sat 64000 miles in it. Totally RUST FREE EXCEPT ROCKER PANALS ANOTHER BIG PROBLEM WITH CHEVY! PLUS MANIFOLD BOLTS BREAKING.NEVER RECALLED. READ UP ON THIS IS ALL TRUE! ITS FUNNY THEY SELL COVER UPS FOR ROCKER PANALS. LOOK IT UP. I Guess stupid again but couldnt beat price. Have 2020 Subaru also. Problems read my complaint and about law suits for problems since 2016. Everything went well. My only issue is what I would consider false advertising, It very clearly states in your online website that I would be eligible for 0% financing, to well qualified buyers. My credit score is over 800, and my financing rate is 4.99%. When I questioned this I was told that I could not get the rebates and the 0%. Why not? Why doesnt it say that on statement about the 0% financing? Why do you have to mislead people? I am a very good customer. I own 3 Chevy vehicles. Be honest. Have some integrity. Stand behind what you say.

Update: Stopped in to the Service Department for a few checkup items on my new (to me) vehicle. The free local shuttle service was a blessing, and made the process perfect for my schedule. Items were completed properly, as requested, and at the cost discussed before hand. Easy access to the facility, but exiting to the left can be tricky around quitting time. Thanks Hawk & Mica, for helping out on short notice!

Their customer service is disappointing. They will say whatever they have to in order to sell a car. They wont look at you as a person, only as a dollar sign.For clarity. I went to buy out my lease. I owed a single payment of 260 for my car but when they added the total they charged me the value you the car plus TWO payments totaling 520$. I had payed a month in advance so I thought it just hadnt taken effect yet. I brought this up to my sales person Argenis, and he said not to worry, that they would cut my a check for the $260. This unfortunately was a LIE. I didnt get my payment back.When I asked them about it. They said I had to go through the lender, Volkswagen Credit. The lender told me i had go through the dealership. I spent Hours on the phone going back and forth. Volkswagen Credit assured me the dealership would be the one that owed me the money.After submitting all the evidence to the owner of the dealership, Damien, he accused me of extortion, and threatened to take legal action. Over $260.Im not getting this money back. lesson learned the hard way. But YOU the consumer can avoid this. Dont buy a car here. go to Bill Jacobs in Naperville OR Volkswagen of Orland. If you do this it will cost them much more than the $260 and we can all learn from this.Heres what Ive learned. NEVER trust the sales person and never pay you payments in advance. Thanks for reading.

James did an excellent job walking the lot with me and suggesting some cars that fit what I was looking for. After driving some of them he ran numbers and was able to get me to the price I needed. Garbage can of a company Darcy is way better they will go above and beyond for you to get the vehicle you want I made 2 appointments to see some vehicles and they sold them and didn’t notify me it took me to go to the company and find out that it was sold on my own I went to Darcy and purchased a car and they drove to a different location to pick up the car so I didn’t have to drive far I’m just saying keep your mind at ease and go to Darcy

My experience was a lot more relaxed than i was expecting. I really appreciate the fact I wasnt feeling pressured in any way to make a purchase. My sales rep was very helpfull with any questions i had. Basically, Im very happy with Hawk, And the vehicle I purchased!! Thank you!!

We had the BEST experience buying a new Chevy Blazer from Mindy at Hawk Chevrolet/Cadillac in Joliet this week. Mindy was great to deal with and knew all the details of our new car. Mindy took the time to go over everything with us and got us linked up to our new Blazer and OnStar. She spent her evening making sure we were satisfied with the deal and setup and even stayed well after her scheduled work day to provide EXCELLENT customer care and service. Brought car in for 60,000 mile service which includes spark plugs and oil change and tire rotation. After waiting 1 1/2 hours they tell me car is done and the cost is like $116. The 6,000 was supposed to be $295. I asked what they did and they did not replace the plugs. So now I had to wait another hour. That is not an oversight.
