Never again. This place has poor communication.Fence was installed on a brand new build.I rescheduled installation to a later date to accommodate landscaping company. And told this to person I scheduled with why I was rescheduling.At that point should have been clear with when would be optimal time to have fence installed.The actual installer knew. Not before destroying the grade on the yard. He said why didn’t you have us come out after landscaping did theGrade. Well that was never mentioned during sales pitch, during scheduling, during rescheduling.Didn’t even try to make it right. Or offer apology.Stay away!

Great customer service from Kelli. Great work and attention to our needs by the workers (Im sorry, forgot names). Especially during the pandemic, theyve always been on time and nice to work with. They installed our fences years ago, then came back again to remove/redo posts when we had a pool installed.

Which goes a long way with me.He put in a lot of extra effort in measuring out my yard to make sure everything will layout and look even. He also explained that he was quoting one my gates to be “racked” by 3 inches to match the ground angle. Those details are greatly appreciated…as most people (including myself) not in the fence business would not know these things.I had other companies quote this job before Cedar Rustic and they all felt generic with no details or extra effort.Bob sat down with us on the back patio and did the quote “old school”…. on the spot… on carbon copy paper!! We signed a down payment check before he left.They were able to schedule the install 40 days sooner than we were originally told.. Which was AWESOME..Install crew came… everything is straight and in order. ZERO complaints on install or quality of material…. And trust me I looked very closely.Based on my experience… Cedar Rustic get 6 stars !!!

The fence looks great minus a couple flaws, white vinyl 4ft semi privacy. The two installers worked very quickly. They showed up around 9am, and the whole fence was done by 4pm. Unfortunately the installers trashed our yard with fence waste as well as many cigarette butts we had to clean up so our dog would not ingest them. Working with Kim (Rep) was the best part of this whole experience. Sadly I reached out after the install about my few concerns and weeks later have not heard back yet from management. Weve recommended this company to many people and are disappointed that they dont have better customer care after install.

We had Cedar Rustic Fence install our Cedar Privacy Fence about 15 - 20 years ago. We needed some repairs and received a reasonable quote. They did an excellent job! The gentleman that did the work was here on time, was very detail oriented making sure things were level, straight and matching the existing fence. I appreciate the good work, and between the initial installation and the repair work that Cedar Rustic Fence has done for me, I would highly recommend Cedar Rustic Fence!

Just had a brand new fence put up in a half acre of a backyard. They did a fantastic job putting it up!I made a mistake with the lot lines - I thought our lot line was farther out on the south side of our house only to find out that wasnt the case. We were putting in an oversized gate so we can let larger objects back into our backyard. So we had to move our larger gate to the north side. The issue with my north side was a slope that would leave a gap when the fence was put in. I was fine with this - my mistake and I was going to re-landscape the area where the gap was.The guys at Cedar Rustic dug out a portion of the yard to make the fence level and fixed the problem! They didnt have to do that and they did and went above and beyond to make a great fence look fantastic!!!Great product, great service and were very happy with our new fence. Would give them a 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting a new fence. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

After much trepidation, we decided to replace our old, dilapidated cedar fence. At the recommendation of a neighbor, we opted to have Cedar Rustic replace it with a vinyl, no maintenance fence. Debbie, their saleswoman was most pleasant, informative, helpful and most importantly...patient in assisting us to make our decision. Seriously, we would have been lost without her.Our fence was installed by Cruz and Jose, two of their installers. We were shocked that there were only two people since the job entailed the removal of the old fence and installation of the new. We are retired so we had the luxury of being able to sit on our deck and watch. Honestly, soon after, we felt mightily embarrassed for doing so as they worked their butts off. Not only did they do a fantastic job but they were most pleasant, professional and considerate. They made sure that we were completely satisfied with the install and left us with nothing to do but enjoy their handiwork. Amazing doesnt begin to describe these mens work ethic. And though were fairly certain any of their workers would have done the same, we are grateful they sent us Cruz and Jose.So, thanks to Debbie, Cruz and Jose for a job well done.

This is literally THE WORST company for fencing. Please dont waste your money. Right after the fence was put up, it was flimsy, pieces of wood were popping off, and my yard door wouldnt shut. I had to threaten to contact BBB to get someone out and they just randomly showed up working in my yard one day, no call back, no appointment, just people working in my yard. Then the door doesnt properly shut AGAIN and I tried calling and no one ever called back. I decided to just have someone try to fix it, but over the course of three years, both fence doors wont close, panels are popping out, and now my entire front entry fence door has just broken from the hinges. I called AGAIN and was told my warranty is out - which Im pretty confident I was quoted a lifetime warranty - and they cant come fix their poor quality work until five months from now. Im LIVID. This has been the worst, costly experience. Just pay more for better quality work guys.

Cedar rustic did a great job!!! They came out in the rain to do my estimate and took their time to make sure I got what I wanted. We changed the plans ... twice and they just continued to help us. The price was fair and the install went great! There were a few things I didnt like upon install and the crew fixed them on the spot. Gates works great. No bad boards that we could see. I will watch the boards as I am readingthese reviews... Im getting nervous about quality and customer service. Ill watch that, but as of now, everyone was great!! I do wish they called the day before to tell me a time!!!

Cedar Rustin did our fence and it looks AMAZING! The sales experience with Jim was so easy and we felt cared for and that we werent being taken advantage of. Often, because we are young (and look younger than we are) that is a big concern for us. Then it only took a crew 1 day to put up the fence around our entire large yard. I cannot say nice enough things about every. They were perfect! After the fence was up, people from all over the neighborhood came over to compliment it.

This is how Rustic does fences. Nails sticking out everywhere and left all over the backyard, fence is splitting, posts were left unfilled. They come out when they please. They came out Saturday, to correct the mistakes, a whole day later we still have nails sticking out the fence and on the ground, the gate hinges split the wood (becouse the holes wasnt predrilled). I dont know how these people can do business like this.

We absolutely love our new cedar fence. Debbie M. Was very helpful with designing a plan that eliminated a problem area in our yard. A brilliant solution. The installers were very competent and considerate. And the scheduler was able to get us scheduled sooner because of a cancellation (A big thank you!!) The result is better than we expected! Would highly recommend.

Anthony came out to give me a quote, took one look at my project & said “we’re not interested” ..... had he measured the project, he would have seen that it fits their 120 LF minimum. Your loss Cedar Rustic. Obviously, I wouldn’t ever recommend these guys to anyone. And, thanks for showing up unprofessionally early to the appointment window. I have used this company twice now, for 2 different houses.Anthony was an amazing salesman, taking care of all my needs from design to build. He helped with the city permit too.The builders were also great. They worked on a crazy, windy day, and were able to keep the debris cleaned up so at to not bother my neighbors.Everyone was so kind and helpful from beginning to end.

Anthony Ramirez was our sales person. Was a pleasure to work with him. Had many estimates and Cedar Rustic gave us a fair estimate.The crew was very proffesional completed the job in a day. Arrived on time. The only snag ran into was due to the Covid situation. But we were patient and took all that was happening into consideration.

They ran out of materials during the installation. There was a screw missing on my gate and it was damaged and the replacement piece isnt much better, no precisioncutting. Theres also separation in my fence.

Anthony was the sales person and he was professional, courteous, a good listener, answered all of out questions and developed the solution that best fit our needs at a reasonable price. Just seen them on channel 2 news report and they are terrible people to deal with i need a fence installed but will not be going to them and my advice is sray aways from these crooks.

LIED ABOUT WARRANTY. We were told over and over by this company that they are the best because they offer a lifetime warranty. Days after installation of the fence it was noticed that one of the caps on the post was cracked. I called and left messages and NO RESPONSE! Now a storm blew down & broke one of the sections of fence and they claim there is only a 3 year warranty. It was not a 3 year warranty when we bought our fence!! Scammers 100% DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I regret using Cedar Rustic. The sales experience felt extremely disingenuous, but I obliged as my neighbor set up a package deal. I called the sales rep to ask about a different handle to enter the yard and he got defensive.We’re currently dealing with damage from the storm and I haven’t received any correspondence for a month. What’s frustrating is that this company is as expensive as all of the other fence companies, but their customer service/support doesn’t reflect good quality at all.

Anthony was great to work with. They were able to get my fence in early and work with me on price. Quality is great and the craftsmanship is impeccable. I used to use classic fence for my past homes but Cedar Rustic outdid them and were more willing to work with me than a company I used multiple times. I would refer them to anyone.

We love our fence and I wish I could give a 5 star review but the complete lack of customer service is a 1 star. I would give them no stars if possible. When we had the drecho storm come through our area in the late summer we lost part of our fence due to a tree falling on it. My husband and I both called multiple times and left countless voicemails and emails but never received a response back. Finally we got ahold of someone and they told us they didn’t have any supplies and aren’t doing any fences until next year and then hung up. A complete lack of disrespect for their customers. So we still have 2 missing panels and we will be fixing it ourselves. If you care about customer service at all do not go with them.

We had a new double gate installed. The gentleman from Cedar Rustic did a great job. We did have to wait about 4-5 weeks for the install because they were so busy, but it was worth waiting for since it wasnt an emergency for us. Guessing a busy company is a good company! Would use them again.

Beware of Cedar Rustic. I inquired about an estimate on a fence replacement on June 2nd.! I received a call shortly after to schedule the appointment. I was warned that they were busy and estimates were being scheduled for July with installs 6-8 weeks after, which I understood and scheduled for July 1st at 1pm and to have my Plat of Survey for the appointment. It’s now 1:30 on July 1st and I just called to see if my appointment was still on and was told that their system crashed 2 weeks ago and they “lost everything”. They were unable to get me in for an estimate this week so I will be going with another company. I’d be hesitant to give several thousand dollars to a company that has no backup on their system of customers and/or appointments.

Called twice on hold first time over ten minutes. Then they pick up and tell me an estimate will take three to four weeks ok understand busy but the scariest part of all of this tell me they are out to Dec for installs. Wait you install in Dec after first what kind of clowns are you.? I am sure that will say you use a specialty concrete. Yeah right. Don’t trust them btw just saw my neighbors fence they put up fifteen years ago that is completely destroyed they never filled the holes with more than six inches of cement seriously what a crime.

Cedar Rustic finished my fenced-in backyard and did an outstanding job! Our yard has some landscaping elements that they were able to work around and connected to our neighbors fences flawlessly. The entire process was easy also as they took care of permits and worked with the village. I highly recommend Cedar Rustic!

My salesman Alberto took the time to answer all my questions and helped me decide a perfect deck design he even put up with all my questions and revisions! Does not inform customers of scheduling changes. When called to setup new appointment, we must wait another 2 to 3 weeks out.

I had a aluminum fence installed 9/2019 from Rustic Cedar. They also hired the contractors. Who ever drew up the layout wasn’t thinking. The fence is not symmetrically installed. I have scratches, Gouges, screws falling out and unnecessary drill holes in my new fence. They told me the would come out and fix my fence by touching up the scratches and gouges, fix the screws falling out. I’m still waiting. I paid thousands of dollars for this fence cash. They have my money and I have not seen them since. I’m still waiting! Very unhappy with them!! Would never recommend them to anyone!They have come back a year+ later and finally fixed some of the items but not all of the issues. I got tired of fighting with them and bringing unwanted stress. They made the new gate (welds were broken) that was wrong and had to remake the gate. This took 3 more months. I understand busy but 18 months to fix 50% of my fence issues is still not ok. Still would not recommend Rustic Fence.

Very knowledgeable very friendly and most important she knows what she is doing and wants to help you not just sell you a fence. And the amazing thing is that I had the fence installed in 8 days only. I highly recommend cedar rustic.

Jim F. came out to do the estimate and was very friendly, professional and informative. He brought different wood samples and made sure that I was well informed. I had gotten two other estimates from other reputable fencing companies and Cedar Rustic was slightly less than one, and much less than another (who I did not care for at all anyway).The process of reviewing the estimate and plans, retrieving the permit, and providing payment was straightforward and painless.The crew came right on time the day of installation, if not a bit early. They worked their butts off all day long, on my neighbors fence and mine. They spent 12 hours on site, until the work was complete and they really took their time to make sure everything was plumb and installed correctly. They only took a brief break for lunch. They did a good job cleaning up the debris and hauling away of the old materials.The only issue I have is that the gates do not have any hardware, so they arent easy to open. I figured they would come with handles. I will spend the money at the hardware store and install them myself, which isnt a huge deal - but not something I had planned on doing.I am very happy with the quality and workmanship of the fence, and have been getting many compliments from the neighbors.

Money well spent, honestly! We had a vinyl fence installed. My very large yard never looked so beautiful. Also, the hard workers were very professional and cleaned up all the dirt from the 24 holes for the post. Very pleased with Cedar Rustic. Even my hubby is pleased and he’s a perfectionist!!

Had a fence installed over the fall. Kim was my rep, she was aware that I have small kids and also a sprinkler system. The latch for the fence gate was installed at hip height, while most other fence latches are installed at the top, I was not given an option on the latch location, only to purchase an upgraded child lock which I don’t need. I just needed it out of reach from my toddler. Looking at other people’s fences I always assumed that all latches are installed at the top, otherwise I would have said something.Then the second issue happened today when my sprinkler company came to turn on the system. The fence company nicked the sprinkler pipe causing a leak that’s going to cost a couple hundred to fix. According to cedar rustic it’s a “hit or a miss” when it comes to sprinkler systems and they don’t take responsibility for damages. if they knew we had a system they could have taken more care while digging. We had JULIE come out and they flagged the area but allegedly that doesn’t show them were the sprinkler pipe is. The sprinkler company showed me the leak and the pipe was pretty clear so obviously they didn’t take caution while digging that line. Regretting with not using K Brothers. They quoted me $200 higher but after having to fix this sprinkler issue and having to purchase a child lock because of their poor latch replacement I should have just went with a more trusted company, as I’m paying the same price anyways.

We had an aluminum fence installed this summer by Cedar Rustic. Our experience was exceptional. Everything from the sales end to the installation and all the parts in between were worry and hassle free. The fence is gorgeous and went up in one day!

I wish it had gone better. I quoted 4 companies to do my aluminum fence. At about 700 linear feet we knew it was not going to be cheap but were more interested in a quality fence and quick installation. Our salesman, Devin, was knowledgeable and polite and gave us what we thought was a good quote. He said more than once that due to the dollar amount of our job (approx. 15k), he shouldnt have any problem getting us a faster install date. He also said that the date would be no later than 7/30. After several calls to see about the actual date, they never managed to get it moved up. And after telling us that it would not be pushed out, they tried to push it out. They finally agreed to install it as scheduled after I complained. The foreman and crew did a great job but the fence did not get installed like we requested. I wanted an opening in the fence that we could drive a car through and instead of a double gate (which I later found out would have been the best option) Devin recommended 2 sections of removable fence. When you get removable sections, the post between those is not removable so you cant actually drive a car through like I asked for. We worked with the foreman to get the opening we needed but because they had already installed the section where we wanted it, we had to put it somewhere else. They also charged me $475 for an extra gate (after saying he would try to get it for free). For us, it was poor customer service for what was really the salesmans quoting mistake. In the end, I wish we had gone with another company. We might have waited a little longer but we would have gotten what we wanted.

I got a fence installed and the power was hit. It supplied my garage, backyard lighting and it supplied power to my water softener. Asked about it and no one has called me back about the issue. Cedar Rustic is pretty much blowing me off about this issue.

Left numerous messages for someone to call back no response! Call the office again! FInally spoke to a Kayla very rude and got hung up on. Not professional at all! ALOT of miscommunication!!! Killed my flowers put dirt piles right on top of them instead of off to the side of them. Killed 5 of my garden plants also dirt piles laid on top of them instead of off to the side. Very unprofessional to work with! Goodluck to whomever uses them! No rating at all had to put one star to comment!

Im very happy with my cedar privacy fence built by Cedar Rustic. After getting quotes from major competitors and learning what each had to offer in terms of quality and technique they stood out as the most professional. After installation and inspection there were a couple of adjustments needed so I spoke with their Director of Operations who promptly sent a technician to do the repairs. The fence looks perfect now. Its important to do your homework about how fences are installed so you know what to expect. In my case, the ground wasnt as even as it looked so a couple of panels had to be installed in an angle. In order for that to be fixed I had to level the ground in those particular areas so the panels could be re-positioned and aligned with the rest of the fence.

So many fences are the same, honestly. However the fair price, explanation of warranty, commitment to an install schedule, and effort to design a smart fence, this is Cedar Rustic. Specifically Bob Race, in my experience. This dude is as real as it gets, anyone who has worked with him would agree. I read a ton of reviews and had multiple quotes, and this guy just makes me so comfortable dropping $10,000 (huge yard), knowing Im getting the best deal, super high quality, and service too. I think because they do so much business, they can afford to give people the lowest price. They will tour you through their factory, just so you are sure how good their stuff is. The installers were very professional, the crew leader of our project has been doing this for 22 years. They have financing available or will give you a discount to pay cash. Im taking time out of my night to shout out my guy Bob, thanks for everything Brother, my kids are safe and my fence looks sweet and will last for years.

Cedar Rustic installed my white picket fence in 2009. It’s as beautiful today as it was the day it was installed. It’s not only added security, but also gave my house more curb appeal. Cedar Rustic has provided excellent customer service. I’ve sent the office staff a picture of an issue and it’s been communicated to Mike who has personally come out to assess a problem. We had a 6 foot privacy vinyl fence installed and it was a big job. The crew arrived on time and knocked it out in one day which included removing about half of the old cedar fence which had partially blown down during a wind storm. The installation went very well in spite of challenges and the crew worked very hard to complete the job in one day including hauling away the old fence and post hole dirt.I would definitely recommend Cedar Rustic to friends and family.

By far one of the most pleasant experiences we have had dealing with a contractor. Our sales representative went over the process in detail and answered all of our questions in a extremely satisfactory manner. The install team was one of the hardest working group of gentlemen we have had the pleasure working with, accommodating to every question and request . This can be said of the scheduling and customer service group as well.We have received many compliments from our neighbors and friends on our new fence and have recommended Cedar Rustic to many of them.Our only complaint is that we can only rate Cedar Rustic five stars as they surely go above and beyond in service and satisfaction.

We had multiple variations of a fence quoted. The fence was delivered and it was a previous version (spaced) and not the final (privacy) one we had wanted. After Cedar Rustic confirmed the error, they went to work fixing the issue. They sent another truck with boards and ultimately turned our fence into a board and batten. The fence looks great and we are very happy with it. The installers were great and due to certain grades and slopes on the fence line, kept asking how we would prefer the fence to be lined up. Four stars because of the initial error, but they came through in the end.

Worst customer service ever! Left multiple voicemails, not a soul called back. Spoke to a lady on May 20th around 4pm and she said she would call me right back and never did.

My husband and I are very pleased with our fence & the customer service. We have gotten many compliments on our fence. After a very bad storm our gate broke. We called & they had somebody out right away to fix it. I recommend anybody looking to put up a fence to call cedar rustic! Beautiful fence and great price!

I thought they did a decent job putting up my fence...But after 5 years five of my post have pushed up over 2, with big gaps in the fence going to the ground. They did come back one time after a long time of talking to them about how this is them installing it and they finally brought someone by. However the next year it popped back up. They do a cheap job on the burial of the post and the type of concrete and install of the concrete they did will not have anyones post staying in the ground forever, or even a few years. I wish I knew back then when I went with the cheapest bid...You get what you pay for!!!

Workers were courteous - clean up was satisfactory. The work went well & as scheduled. No complaints. Would recommend Cedar Rustic Fence.

I was in the market for a vinyl fence at my newly purchased townhouse so I reached out to Cedar Rustic’s awesome salesperson Debbie. It was literally less than 2 hours from my call to Debbie and she was at my house measuring and providing me with a FREE no pressure estimate. Once I accepted the estimate, the work was scheduled and yesterday my new fence was installed. The crew arrived on time and completed the work in about 8 hours. They worked really hard and so far I am very pleased with the finished product. I was also very happy that they cleaned up and hauled away the mess that resulted from the installation. The crew made sure I was satisfied before they left; they were very professional and very conscientious about their work. I would highly recommend Cedar Rustic and even more enthusiastically, their sales person Debbie, who by the way was awesome.

Had my PVC fence installed by Cedar Rustic in 2010. The fence was very expensive and we initially loved the fence. However I have several posts that have pushed up out of the ground several inches that is causing gaps in the fence. The screws for the hinges on the gates are all striped out. I called the company to see what could be done, and was informed it would be around $500 to re set the posts. That’s not acceptable after paying $10,000 for the fence. I understand that there could be a drainage Issue, but as a fence company doing an install there should have been precautionary measures taken to avoid this problem, ie pea gravel in the bottom of the holes. Not all the posts are pushing up but the 5 that have make the fence look like garbage. I don’t plan on recommending cedar Rustic Fence to anyone.

I had a fantastic experience with Cedar Rustic and their team. Courteous, responsive, and most of all ... they did a fantastic job with our fence installation. All in one day! A crew of 3 worked together seamlessly. I rarely have had a better, more reliable home improvement experience.

We needed three sections of fence put in for our yard to be completely fenced off. They sent someone right away to our home to measure etc. On the day the fence was to be installed Fernando showed up on time and went to work right away. Fernando did an excellant job! He took into consideration that we have a small dog and put the fence in as close to the ground as he could. He even wiped down the fence post to get the excess concrete off. Well done Fernando!!

I had them come take down the old deck and install a new deck at my parents place. The installers were very curteous - they made sure they moved all my Moms flowers carefully and didnt damage them. They built the deck pretty quickly and more importantly, its beautiful! I highly recommend Cedar Rustic, theyre great!

Alfredo and his crew did a great job in a short amount of time. We were/are very pleased with the teardown of our old fence, and the build of our new cedar picket fence. They took my height into account when installing an arbor and raised it a couple extra feet off the ground, and I appreciated the personal touch. Unfortunately the crew also had to deal with some harassment from my uncooperative neighbors, who (despite advance communication) remained ignorant to their property lines & city codes. However, the crew handled it professionally. We would recommend.

The installation team did a great job installing our new vinyl porches. Once a date was set the work was performed quickly and without disturbing unit owners. The Diamonds of Oak Forest will not hesitate to use Cedar Rustic in the future.

We had Cedar Rustic install roughly 190 of aluminum fencing in our yard back in November. Their prices were right in line with several other quotes we had, and weve seen their signs on some neighbors fences so went with them.Were happy with our fence and were amazed at how quick the installation team worked. When we had an issue with the fence passing inspection (gate was around a pool area, gates swung inward instead of outward), Cedar Rustic repaired the issue quickly and at no extra cost to us.

The estimate was quick, easy & informational. Younger workers did the install and asked me for an extension cord to run through my garage. I thought it was for the post digger but they did that by hand and I found they were just charging a phone. It took longer than I thought but they were efficient and clean up was done well also.

I was very pleased with every aspect of my experience with Cedar Rustic Fence! From the quote to the installation, I received professional and polite service, not to mention my beautiful, quality fence! I didnt know I could love a fence...but it is absolutely gorgeous and perfect!

I received quotes from 7 different companies for my fence. Cedar Rustic was right in the middle on pricing but I decided to go with them because the Salesman, Jim, was a great help. I wanted to have metal posts with a cedar fence and some of the other companies didnt even know what type of posts they use. Jim on the other hand explained to us which posts they use, what type of wood, and recommended what he would do. If I emailed Jim with a question I had answers next day while some of the other guys didnt even respond. I would highly recommend this company just because of the service. The installation guys were very good too. I thought they wouldnt finish in one day but they were there from early morning and didnt finish until after 10pm.

The fence installation crew that came out was friendly, professional and efficient in putting together our cedar fence in our backyard. They did an excellent job lining up the the top portion of the fence with the angular slope in our backyard. I would use them again.

I called to schedule an appointment and was given an appointment date and time. I thought I was good I gave the information that was needed to set up the appointment and it was confirmed. The day of the appointment I was told via text our company do not come that far enough east by Kim. I think that was bad business from the company because when you call a company the person who schedule the appointments have a boundary area of where the company will and will not go.

Overall a very good experience. I had a black aluminum fence installed in the backyard. Estimator / salesman was a no BS kind of guy and the experience was easy. He helped work out some non-standard issues I had in the back yard. Installation was done in less than a day.
