I just bought a new Toro push mower and the owner Gary was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with patience and helpful insights on the tradeoffs of each model. He has the model on display prebuilt and fueled for demonstration before you go out of the door with it, which saves time and gives you added piece of mind that it has no issues from the factory. It was so refreshing to have prompt, hands on support compared to the big box stores.

I have brought in snow blowers, lawn mowers, chain saws..... and work and price were great.

I had my carburetor rebuilt here for my m.t.d. yard machines riding mower. His prices are absolutely reasonable, but more importantly, he knows what he is doing. Installed carburetor on my mower and it works flawlessly! Cant be happier! Id recommend this place to anyone who needs small engine repair.

Bought my 1st Big Toro Snow Blower from Gary at H&R Pump. The Price was great, and his Service is Outstanding. After wondering over to a local Frankfort Dealer who failed miserably on several levels, Im back with Gary; Thank Goodness! And Thanks Gary for coming to my rescue. I wont wander again!

Hands down, the rudest service I have ever received. I should have known walking into the place to just walk back out. It looks a hoarders house inside, debris and merchandise stacked and littered everywhere. The dust is growing thick on everything. I had a summer long repair issue which never got resolved yet I was charged for it. And throughout the whole experience, the owner or manager guy didnt want to be bothered with any questions and was downright ignorant about the transaction. In the end he was unable to perform the repair.

Called and asked about a part was told I was lucky he had no one in front of him or Id have to come in with the broken part to get help....sounds like a good idea, Ill drive all the way to you to find out you dont have the part and then drive myself 1 hr back home

If your looking for a friendly face and a cherry hello your at the wrong place. If you need your small engine mower or whatever fixed by gary get ready to wait till next season, the line is longer than you can imagine. If your like me and can fix it yourself then this is the greatest place on earth. This guy can get you parts for almost anything. If you were smart enough to keep the owners manual and have part numbers for him all the better. prices are right in line with the manufacturer and you pay no shipping costs. Been going there for years and will continue. Kept my cheap sears mower running for 20 years until I finally treated myself to a new toro

If you need any briggs and Stratton engine part, Gary has it. Be sure you have your engine model and serial numbers stamped on the pull start shroud cover. He doesnt guess what you need or will sell you the wrong part just to make a buck! Last of the old school engine shops around! Even bring my daughter in to make sure she gets to see what real service looks like, making her the 4th generation of my family to shop here!
