Crooks. Went there months ago for a scheduled inspection. They wouldnt see me. Went the next day. They took advantage of me. Saying I need this and that. Suddenly im paying $1,200. Coincidence it was the entire stimulus check. When I left, it was in worse condition. Check engine light wouldnt turn off. Speedometer and Odometer going crazy. Went to a retired mechanic. Gave me the repairs I needed. Monro gave me the WRONG SIZED TIRES. When I asked for a refund for the tires they lied to me and told me that the tire size wouldnt effect anything. Got it recorded on my phone too. Always trusted Monro. Not anymore. Save yourselves. Go somewhere honest. Thinking about taking them to small claims court. I feel absolutely cheated.

I found a screw in my tire when leaving work and was on my way to a wake. The tire was flat but a friend in my building had an air compressor and I inflated it. It held long enough to get me to Monroe. This was about 5:15pm. I explained the situation and the female manager got me in right away. She was great.. The tech pulled my tire, fixed it and got me on my way in about 20 minutes. The cost was reasonable and I was grateful. Highly recommend.

I am so upset. I went in to get oil change/ inspection. The receptionist goes into the bay. She kicks around the things to raise my car while eating. I’m starting to feel very uncomfortable. They hoist my car. The technician is chatting away with her under my car he starts some of the work and then gets her to start doing some of the work and she’s doing it while eating a burger! They were not paying attention. NOTHING was checked (no fluids, no battery, no tire pressure) no tire rotation BUT THEY CHARGED MY CARD for it. I went home on the verge of tears for getting so ripped off. No update, no service inspection report. Just a 70 charge. I wanted this all done before a road trip. My finance calls when I get home. The guy hung up on him!

STOP!!!!! Do not go here if you need an inspection. They are outrageously priced and price gouge you. I went to get my NYS inspection and they told me that I needed new front tires and back brakes. Ok I can understand that’s what is required. I asked how much and they told me $1400! That is absolutely ridiculous, I called the auto parts store and my brakes were $160 and Mavis was charging me $280 for the tires with alignment. So your telling me the labor alone was going to be at least $700 (give or take the prices for brakes and tires) NO WAY! I really can’t believe that, not to mention the man talking me all this was extremely unprofessional. He was swearing at the parts place on the phone, the 70yr old man dropping off parts and then throwing things on the desk because he was upset. No thank you, I took it someplace else for tires and brakes and for everything plus the inspection they only charged me $380! So that tells me Monroe is a ripoff!

Quoted me $59.99 for a full synthetic oil change over the phone, they asked the make and model of my truck and set the appointment for later that day. That was the quick and easy part. Reconfirmed the full synthetic oil change on arrival and pulled my truck in to oil change and tire rotation. The manager comes out and says that at 7,500 miles the tires dont need to be rotated yet, and they wont do it. That was the first red flag. Then once they finished the oil change the manager comes back out out and tells me the total is over $110. Im floored and ask why the price is so high after I was quoted a lower price on the phone, and the manager instantly becomes sarcastic and argumentative and stated that I should have known, it would be more expensive and that there is nothing he can do about the price. Ill never fall for their bait and switch tactics ever again. Beware and Stay Away!!!

Tire pressure light was on! Prior to my visit all four of my tires was fine no issues no slow leaks no ANYTHING! Drove around prior all that day and the days before! Air was put in all four tires! I asked the gentleman who put the air in the tires were there any issues I need to be aware of? He stated “ no just the rear passenger tire didn’t have enough air, but you’re fine” I literally drove from Monroe to home, 45 minutes later I come out to drive off.. tire completely flat to the dam ground! Called AAA, cut on the steam of tire.. small clean cut and that’s weird, is what the AAA. I said what’s weird? He stated how it was damaged on the seam of the tire! Soon as he put air in the tire you can physically hear the air seeping out! Placed a call to Monroe, POINTLESS, didn’t try to assist/suggest/sympathize in any kind of way. All he kept saying was well, that’s not our fault what happened to you!!! Not bring it in let’s see what can be done! I will never go back to this company and beware when you do!!!!!!!

Vaccum valve was misplaced or not put back on engine. Now my engine might have to be replaced. Never come here they will rip you off . Simple test for smog turns into looking for a new engine smfh

I had appointment with 9/12/2021 at 12 pm, when I reached there, I see store was closed. I drove 25 minutes from my address. My question is why they gave me appointment to change car oil??? I believe reviewers will think again before going there.

I was in earlier today to get rotors and brakes replaced and the service was great and quick. The manager randy was very professional and was helpful. Even had a great conversation about a common interest in workouts and the gym. If you need your BMW fixed, Randy is the man!!!! He is very friendly and most importantly knows what he’s doing. He will explain to you every little thing that’s wrong with your car from wheel to wheel and then fix it. He showed me things in my car I didn’t even know where features. My car was a lemon and now my car is basically new.

About 10 days ago I visited because of a slow leak in a tire. It was determined that I needed to replace the tire. Since I always had heard that one should replace tires in pairs, I raised that dreaded possibility with Charlie who was in charge that day. While he understood my perspective, looking at the other tires, he saw how he could do some tire rotation and it would be fine to purchase just the one tire. I must admit that I appreciate such integrity and well certainly continue my long history of returning to that location for servicing my cars, where, regardless of who is the supervisor or manager on a given day, I will be given advice that keeps my family safe, and helps us struggle through our budgeting in these difficult times. My hats off, but not my mask, to Charlie and Monro!

Really tried to charge me 200 dollars to remove film of a window

Needed new shocks thanks to Buffalos finest street craters. Randy was able to get me in the same day and after he and the other mechanic took a look at the issue, got to work right away. My car was done in the time he estimated and the price was reasonable. Randy was highly professional as were the guys in the garage. Ill be returning for my regular maintenance!

I went in today bc it’s my neighborhood tire dealer and all four of my tires were low on air with the change of weather. The manager, Chad, immediately brought my car in for a quick fix...at no cost and no wait. I cannot say how much I appreciate this service. Moreover, when I have had more substantial work performed at this location it has been quality service at a fair price with very good customer focus and communication. I most highly recommend.

These guys are simply the best. Less than a 24 hr turnaround from tow to shop the previous night to pickup the next day. Gear shifter cable replaced as well as a lynch pin. The waiting room was clean and nice set up as you are able to see your car being worked on through a large window. Very friendly staff, considerate, and informative. Made an appointment online ahead of time for an inspection. Got there at scheduled time, they told me they don’t do inspections on Sundays. No phone call or email to give a heads up.

On 6/30 my low air tire light cane on... I pulled into Munro on Sunday.. and ask if someone could put air on my tire and show me how.. Mario was so sweet and so kind as busy as he was he took the time help me.. with no charge. I was happy to tip him .. I just wanted to take the time to compliment his hard work and kindness.. thank you again Mario for the helping hand!

Took my car in for an oil change and inspection. Made an appointment, which was extremely easy. Dropped the car off in advance and the associate was pleasant and knowledgeable. My car was finished quickly. My only issue was that I had to call to find out it was done. Since I told them I was leaving the car and going home I should have received a call. Other than that, everything was great and Ill continue to go back.

I had to come back for a reinspection and alignment and was greeted by Chad the new manager at this location. Chad was very straightforward with me and honest about his commitment to both quality and to giving the customers what they need. This was my second visit to this Monro and I highly recommend it. The work was done well and quickly and the staff were polite and friendly at both visits.

My girlfriend and I brought her Accord to this location and Chad came through for us in a big way. We had some pretty bad stuff going on with the brakes and Chad brought us back in the garage to show us *exactly* what was going on. You always want your mechanic to show-not-tell you what the problem is. Big points for that.Once we told him how dire our financial situation was, Chad really worked with us and went out of his way to do *exactly* what we asked him to do: get us back on the road for what we could afford.It was great service and great work (and we gave it a minute before leaving this review) and the work has held up! I was having a problem with my brakes, I came in for an estimate and was given an answer that I was expecting. I was given the estimate and not overly surprised at the cost, but I explained my concerns and given a discount on the services to be performed. I was able to get in almost immediately and did not have to wait for parts to be acquired. I was even brought into the service area to be shown what exactly was wrong and why the parts needed to be replaced. All the staff were very personable and pleasant to work with. They even offered me a ride somewhere if it was needed instead of waiting. EXCELLENT SERVICE. I was in a pinch and needed a brake line replaced in an older Caddy. I know nothing ab0ut cars, but when he showed me what needed to be done I knew it wasnt an easy job. If your car only needs regular oil, its a bargain, as long as you dont agree to all of the add ins they likely will try to sell you at a high price. For synthetic oil, see if your dealer or other place you may find that may be cheaper. I have a new 4 cylinder and stupidly agreed to pay over 70 bucks for an oil change. I could have gone to my dealer for 30 bucks less.They supposedly vacuumed the front seat area for free but didnt.I went once but wont be back.

I brought my car in as a last resort for an inspection and the gentleman there ended up finding out that my previous mechanic installed my bearing incorrectly. He and the shop manager told me about what was going on with my vehicle, the danger it presented and helped me gather information I needed to get rightful reimbursment from my previous repair shop.These guys were extremely humble, easy to talk to, and didnt gouge me in prices. They were upfront and honest about everything. Ive had really bad experiences with other Monro locations whos concerns seemed to only be money and what extra work could be thrown onto the bill even if it didnt really need to be done...but the gentlemen at this shop seemed to have genuine interest in getting my car back in shape the best way possible for the lowest cost to me as possible. I will definitely be switching to their location for all of my vehicle needs. My vehicle is now running smoothly and these gentleman have restored my faith in repair shops. Thanks Monro!!! This shop seems to be the best out of all of them so far.

Horrible experience, I am only taking the time to warm others. I took my car there two years ago to get an oil change and they screwed it up end up costing me $100. I decided to give them another try. All I wanted was a simple inspection. I got my car back with a scrap down the door any they told me that couldn’t have happened here and showed me the door. Awful company. They treat you like an idiot and I would have been fine with that if they didn’t damage my car every time I take it there. I wouldn’t take my car there again if they payed me. Ohh and the bill for the scratch down the door was $1027.54.

I always go here to get my work done, they’ve done repairs and oil changes for me, and have always made sure my car is road ready. They always have their customers best interest in mind and make you feel important.

Open later than most and relatively quick service however there very well could be a reason for that and it is why they received only one star. I was charged $100 dollars per part they told me I needed for inspection and was told I had expensive parts for my car as it required Moog components. Out of curiosity I looked up the parts when I got home and lo and behold they are $34 for the Moog parts from Advance Auto Parts literally across the street. I wont be returning and if I was this grossly overcharged I can imagine others are being drastically overcharged as well.

The company does a great job very efficient and quick not waiting long to have your car serviced.
