My previous review disappeared so I will paste it back.Took a 1990 Vanagon to them for a rebuild, got it back and a cat had been my vehicle and urinated EVERYWHERE because they left the engine cover off the back allowing the animal access to inside the vehicle. He attempted to have it cleaned and did a crappy job telling me the smell would go away eventually. I had to pull all the seats out and clean them, I was still squeezing out yellow cat urine AFTER they supposedly cleaned it. It leaked oil when I got it back, oil buzzer wiring was connected backwards, they tried to tell me it was the computer. Had to prove to his mechanic he wired it backwards. Broke down after 1500 mile break in period on road trip due to a manufacturers defect in the shaft bearing though I suspect it was put in backwards so the oil holes didnt line up and he was trying to get out of the warranty work by saying the vehicle was 2 quarts low on oil so it would void my warranty. I had checked it prior to the breakdown and it was full. Got it back again 3 months later and it leaks more oil that the last time I got it back and now there is an exhaust leak that wasnt there and the Idle is rougher than before. He has had my van most of the year and I am still not happy with the results. For $4700 rebuild got less than professional service. Stay clear of this shop.I corrected spelling errors and added details that wasnt on my original post (I was angry when I posted it). I did have another mechanic put in a replacement stock engine. The engine I got back from him is still in pieces. There was someone who posted a equalizing review on yelp and my response to her is: If Mike Harvey were really the give the shirt off his back kind of person to make it right, he wouldnt have scoffed in my face, my original engine would be in the van, and this review would not exist.
