Wish I had read the reviews before. I had asked the cost before treatment was done and was quoted $75. A root color I also asked for my bangs to be trimmed. I assumed the bangs(5min) trim would be included in the price.. Wrong.. When at the till I was charged another $20.

Friendly staff. I forgot the name of my hairdresser, It was a unique name, but she did everything I asked for and fixed my hair that the last place I went to messed up. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! Definitely will return

My sister went to get highlights for her hair her appointment was a total of 7 hours and when they finished her hair it wasnt what she asked for and her hair was frizzy and needed to be saved but the salon charged her 200 dollars for her service and my sister was really upset because of her experience but my sister managed to fix her her hair totally do notrecommend going to the salon.

Just had a haircut in greatclips by winco and the fat rude chick mess it up.so I try Jcpenney Salon for the first time and OMG she spent so much time to layered my hair and it turned so beautiful, so sad its closing and i didnt get her name but I know her looks she has short and pink colored hair.I love you and thank you for your hard work .u should be proud.I will be back for sure. And I will find u again!!

Great staff! From the manager, stylist and receptionist. The stylist are very knowledgeable in products and will give good advice to any type of situation.My hair has been done by many of them like Martha, Dora, Siv, Pat, Patty, Patsy, Chris, Lupe, Cruzita and even Regis the Manager of the Salon!I dont have any complains! Love the staff and I will always recommend this place!

Trust me when I say... DO NOT GO HERE!!! They ruined my hair and I am going to have to cut close to 4 inches off my hair to fix what the Master Stylist, or whatever the girl claimed she was did.The place was empty upon arrival... I should have trusted my instincts.

I have avoided going to a salon for many many years because i never have a good experience and leave in tears, well my mom talked me into it and i am so glad I agreed. My mom booked us each an appointment WITH PATSY, back to back for us to get a foil (my hair is down to the middle of my back) not only did she do an amazing job, she was beyond accommodating, very friendly, super funny, and all around amazing!! She was personable and professional and i honestly couldnt think of a single bad thing about my visit. I am definitely going back to have her do my hair again and again and again!! Thank you PATSY you rock!

Ive been getting my eyebrows done by Sean B. at the salon for almost a year (maybe 1+??) and I love him! He is a perfectionist and his work is flawless. If youre looking for someone who does a great eyebrow wax and has a positive and infectious attitude, Sean is your guy!

Walking in, the desk staff were so unorganized that I had 3 different people ask me the same questions. The salon is not very clean and looks pretty outdated. Ive had 2 great haircuts from a stylist who no longer works there so I had to go to someone else. Big mistake. She was in a hurry the whole time and actually scrubbed my scalp so hard she made my forehead bleed (I have great personal hygiene and had taken a shower an our before I walked in, so this was just sheer brute force). During the actual cut, she yanked my hair so hard it hurt and continually scratched my face and ears with the comb and her nails. She did not listen to what I wanted and actually did the exact opposite. My hair was half an inch longer on one side than the other. Ive had bad haircuts, but this is by for the worst. Ive had better haircuts from great clips. Save your money and stay away, unless you like unprofessional stylists and funny looking hair. Wish I couldve given them 0 stars.

Terrible! Horrible! My daughter whos 17 was there from 3:00-11:00 pm on a school night just to get highlights. The girl took 8 HOURS. Her hair came out orange and is now breaking off. Never again will any of my family go to Penneys salon. Weve been burned too many times..

If negative stars were an option, thats what I would choose. The salon rep had poor customer service skills and screwed up our appointment times

I asked for my hair to be ombred with balyage and this woman gave me ash blond highlights. She cut of to much of my.hair. and.i still saw my original colour underneath my highlights, I was fuming when I left. I will never, ever, ever set foot in a J.C. Penneys salon again. I wasted 4 hours there when I could have been, hmmm, solving world hunger for all I care, I could have been going anything than sitting in that wretched salon. Thanks for nothing.

Worst experience I have had in my entire life!!!!!!I made an appointment for my daughter to get a balayage touch up and myself a 2 color root foil touch up.The girl doing my daughter was great very professional and was very happy with her work.Myself, the front desk is very unorganized and no prices are posted. Turns out each stylist has her own prices.The girl wanted to charge me for a full foil and I refused to pay because that is not what I wanted. She barely cut my back and did not touch my front and after 60 minutes of her running back and forth from the front to me (she did not know the prices) we finally agreed on a partial one color foil on my bangs. ALL I WANTED WAS MY ROOTS TOUCHED UP!SO FOR A PARTIAL FOIL AND A PARTIAL HAIR CUT + A LIP WAX WAS $108.00When she started the coloring there was major melodrama with one of the stylIst lovers wife showing up and wanting to have a good ol fashion right trash beat down. Why is this effecting my experience? anyway I just sat there and closed my eyes waiting for it to finish. Afterwards I tried to question my bill with everyone turning there nose up at me like Im the bad guy, THEY ALSO HAD TO RERING MY TOTALS 3 DIFFERENT TIMES. WHY? BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO OPERATE THE COMPUTER SYSTEM.The next day i tried to talk to the manager and he was just as arrogant and would not listen. He tried to tell me how it was and how often we had been there and I have long hair and that I was actually underpriced. ALL I WANTED WAS MY ROOTS TOUCHED UP!I eventually talked with my beautician friend who works in Portland, who exclaimed that yes they should have been able to do my roots IF THEY KNEW HOW! that is why they were forcing a full head foil on me because they do not know how to do their jobs. She also did not know how to cut curly hair. I wound up looking like a lion. ALL I WANTED WAS MY ROOTS TOUCHED UP!!!!My daughters how was okay, but again later I found out she did not get a very good balayage and we saw lots of mistakes.I have also talked with other friends who USED to love this salon, but due to horrific changes, they were forced to find a new salon.I will never go back to this salon again, and after the horrific experience I had, I am probably going to be driving to Portland OR to get my hair done from now on. Why is it so hard to find a good stylist now days?

They cut my hair Horribly wrong, and the person who cut my hair was rude!

I showed up on time for appointment, but my stylist wasnt there yet. I waited for 20 minutes and just walked out. During my wait time, there wasnt even anybody at the front desk. Terrible service!
