Dr. Badorek diagnosed several very significant things that many other doctors negligently missed. Her diagnosis and treatment of extreme eye dryness has in 2 days changed my life. I was looking for a new eye clinic for my 10 year old with a strong prescription. I found Clearwater Family Eye Care on google and took my daughter for an eye exam and very happy that I did. The wait to see the Dr. Badorek was quite long, but it was so worth it! I left after 1st appointment and had more information about what’s going on with my child then I’ve gotten over 5 years from the other clinic we used to go to.

I have been coming to this eye doctor for years and not once in all these years have I seen the doctor without waiting for an hour in the waiting room. It is completely ridiculous and almost insulting to be made to wait this long while the doctor chatters away. All the glasses are completely overpriced.

I feel Dr Badorek is the best in the Tri Cities. Now I know everyone feels that about there Drs but I had a problem over the weekend. I called her the night I got home from hospital because I was to see her the next day and I wanted her to know what was going on. When I got to office they took me back and I soon realized I could not do the regular exams The assistants went beyond to make me comfortable We did change the course up immediately to suit what I needed Dr Badorek did my exam to see what was going on. She then typed a quick letter to my primary dr as to what she thought. She was truthful but had compassion as she knew I was scared. She certainly made me feel more comfortable for what I was about to have done. The staff even went so far as to run to store to get me orange juice as my blood sugar was low. In this day and age I have been very blessed to have some very good and caring Drs. Yes u want the truth but there is a lot to be said for a little kindness. She is one of the best

The first time I went, everyone was extremely kind and wonderful. The entire team of staff members were professional, caring and listened to me. I got a pair of contacts and glasses and tried them out for a few weeks. I wasn’t happy with my contacts so I went in again. I foolishly scheduled another obligation right after my appointment. Knowing this, the doctor and other members of staff did their best to get me out on time, including doing multiple things at once which was not convenient for them. Yet, they put me first and did so with smiles on their faces! The doctor worked with me until I found a much better set of contacts. I will be using this establishment as my primary eye care for as long as I am around! I have nothing but the highest respect and appreciation for how this business is run and the people employed there!

Dr. Belinda and her team of eye care professionals take the time to give holistic care to their patients. On two different occasions family members had eye care emergencies, and were taken care of quickly as well as with professional kindness. If you have to wait a bit for your appointment, rest in the fact that you, too, will be given full attention.

I regularly travel 2-4 hours to be seen by Dr Badorek. Recently, my Rx was close to expiring so I tried a few other optometrists. I went to a private optometrist, Walmart Optical, and Costco - all within the Tacoma region and dropped like $500 in office visits, only to find that none of them could get my eyes refracted and my contact lenses fit as well as Dr Badorek. She is worth a trip across the state of WA, and she is worth far more than the small amount of money she charges. Beyond that, the office staff is extremely professional and helpful. Unorganized Office!Her receptionist was rude. She called me to tell me that I had missed an appointment. When I told her that I didnt have one that evening, she got super rude and told me how she talked to me the week before about it and confirmed it with me. Then mentioned that I had scheduled an appointment for my daughter the same time. I informed her that I had no daughters and so it wasnt me... she got snippy. A month later my sister in law asked me if I went to them and I said yes. Apparently, it was my sister in law who the receptionist talked to and in fact not me. The receptionist even told my sister in law that she thought I was lying. Never apologized for being rude or nothing.So, I had my appointment in April... At the time of the appointment I paid all of my copays and bill to her. Just last month, I received a bill from her office saying I owed and that I was 120 days overdue (I hadnt received a statement prior to this one). So, I called her office and was told that it was their mistake and that she would send out a statement showing I had a zero balance.Holidays hit and everything was busy so I didnt even remember about needing the statement.Last week I received another statement still saying I owed. Called again and talked to them. Again they stated it was on their end and theyd send me a statement showing a zero balance. Its now almost a week later, still no statement. I just called the office to ask about it and the receptionist said that my account is still showing a balance. This is AFTER the billing dept lady said that she took care of it while I was on the phone.Ill make my rating a little higher once they take care of this.

I have been under the care of Dr. Badorek for well over ten years and yet with every visit I am still impressed with her knowledge, professionalism and personal kindness and attention. She has a warm and enthusiastic staff who reflect her approach to patient care and remain focused (pun intended) on meeting the needs of the entire patient, not just resolving a vision problem. Have been seeing Dr. Badorek for a number of years with zero complaints. Recently I woke up with tremendous pain in my eye. I phoned the after hours numbers and also emailed. Dr. called me at 7:30 AM and had me come in 1st thing when the office opened at 9. So appreciate the service, compassion, and ability to explain in lay terms.

Dr Badorek at Clearwater Family Eye Care is an outstanding optometrist and individual. I have been a patient for almost 20 years and I cannot imagine going anywhere else for the health of my eyes. She is highly skilled, but at the same time exudes warmth and a compassionate attitude that is atypical of a physician. She genuinely cares about the health and well-being of her patients, an attitude that is readily apparent at each visit. She has guided me through two corrective eye surgeries, both attaining excellent results, with empathy and professionalism. Both of my parents became her patients, and she addressed their aging eye ailments quickly and affectionately, earning their devotion as well. In two decades, Dr Badorek has had me as her patient through my college years and into adulthood, and one of the things I have greatly appreciated is her keeping an eye on my healthcare budget. In the starving college years without health insurance, she steered me towards practical, maintainable, and affordable eye care choices. And even with health insurance, she is careful to find solutions that are covered by my current insurance, or advise me of the alternatives outside of it with complete clarity. There is never sticker shock when dealing with Dr Badorek. She has earned my trust in a way no other doctor has.If there were 10 stars available on this scale, I would give her all of them. She is a gem and I wish I could clone her to the other fields of medicine, so I had a Dr Badorek for each area of my medical needs.
