I had heard of this place many times for years. Never been there and always wondered where this place was at.I was in search for an AR15 pistol chambered in 300 Blackout throughout all of Tri-Cities with no luck. Ranch & Home sold out, Talos had a rifle but not the pistol version, and Sportsmans was freshly sold out as well due to the COVID-19 gun rush. This encounter was by surprise. I was across the street buying some classic vinyl records at Rock n Roll Records & Collectibles. As soon as I walked out, I read the sign, loud and clear. Columbia Gun Rack. Im going in!I went in and was immediately greeted by Doug. He is such an awesome guy. His exceptional service when you walk in is incredible. He will ask you if you need any help or if you need to look at anything. I told him it was my first time in and wanted to see any AR15 Pistols they had. He showed me one, and I decided that in a few weeks Id be back to get it myself. Thats where I was wrong.I went back a few weeks later and sadly, the AR15 pistol they had in stock sold. I was so sad, so I kept looking. I was about to fork over a large buck for the FN P90 they had in stock, but it wasnt ideal. I still wanted an AR pistol, in either 556 or 300 BLKOUT.Then, at the corner of my eye, my favorite color combo came in to sight.Grey and red accents. I couldnt believe it. It sure seemed like something out of Call of Duty. I asked Doug immediately to show me that beauty. The first thing he said was, This one is definitely not cheap.Of course it wasnt. The Nickel Boron coating is beautiful, the red accents are a nice touch. The AR15 had a unbeatable build quality. Very tough. I pulled the charging handle and the sound of it was something you also hear out of a movie. It was music to my ears.I put this thing on the counter and drooled all over the gun except the price tag. I forked over $300 as a down payment in layaway and promised Doug that if my Trump check came in, it would all be for this baby.Trumpy Check came in, as I dreamed for two days about this gun. I finally paid it, now was the worst part. The 10 Day Wait. Oh man, was I so impatient, I literally went in to see it. My heart was pounding to have her home. Adriana is what I named her.10 Days up, which seemed like forever. I went in, got my baby. I literally had a crowd of people around me complimenting my gun. I let many handle it and they were totally in love. I couldnt blame anyone. All my friends who saw my first AR15 that day also fell in love.Thank you Doug and to the rest of the crew for treating me like family! I will certainly be buying from you guys again!Long story short, upgrades were obvious to do. Vortex Strikefire Red Dot was already on its way to replace a reflex, 60 round drum, StrikeFire Industries Curved Foregrip as regular foregrips will convert this pistol into a rifle because gun laws. Latest upgrade has been Dagger Defense BUIS in red. Im going to keep adding red accents. Two more upgrades for this baby are left and she will be complete. A flashlight and laser. My friends already say this looks straight out of Call of Duty. Im so in love with my baby and I couldnt thank Gun Rack more than enough! Thank you guys once again! To those who want to know my carry ammo in this AR Pistol. 40 rounds of Critical Defense Rifle by Hornady. Not cheap. $1 a round. I filled up the space with Frontier by Hornady Hollow Point Match rounds.
This is my favorite place to shop. Knowledgeable staff. Best store of its kind in the area.
I have shopped there for years, purchasing and selling firearms and supplies. I find them to be friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly; honest.
Great place to look in every now and then...?!
By far best customer service in the area. Fair prices for purchases and trades. Only place I go...
Bought my Hellcat here and it went smooth until a mistake that they made was discovered. I brought it to their attention, they owned it and made it right that same moment. Walked out of the store a happy customer with added respect toward the owner and employees. Will always bring my business here!
Sold a lot of guns here good prices, and great staff very knowledgeable and just a good place for firearms.
Been buying all my guns from them for years. Great service, knowledgeable staff, fair prices. Sold a few guns to them too, they gave me really good prices on my used guns. Way better then Hole in the Wall/Griggs/Rip Off Ranch.
They will raise the price on you while your standing there I wont give them one cent of my money
Never had a bad experience here or felt anything was over priced. Fair prices, great customer service and knowledge. The only place I shop for firearms locally.
Fantastic service, the staff is knowledgeable and have great customer service. Highly recommend, will buy again.
Great local gun store!
This would be my first choice to buy anything I need or just want. Back when I lived in the Tricites they special ordered for me if they or no one else didnt have what I was looking for. The woman who runs this place seems to have her good days and not so good days. Im not saying shes a bad person . I still prefer this place more than anywhere else and her dad Doug is a very likeable person. I would recommend this place if you are just considering getting something or maybe if you are having difficulty finding something.
