During one of our famous Eastern Washington heat waves we noticed our HVAC system was not working properly. We had a technician come out from a different company and learned that our system was on its last leg. That same company quoted us an astronomical amount to replace the whole system. Feeling like we were being taken advantage of, we reached out to a couple of other companies for quotes as well. After getting quotes from 2 other companies and still not getting great quotes, we decided to reach out to Chris and Jeremy at Bruce to see if they could help us out. They came in lower than all of the other companies with great quality products available. Jeremy was super easy to work with and he set everything up very quickly for us. When it came time for the installation, the crew was very easy to work with as well. The guys were very professional, quick, and efficient. They replaced our whole system in under their estimated time and updated many things to give it a cleaner, better appearance than what our system had before. Everything was cleaned up and left in great condition. They went over and explained everything to us so that we knew about the new system before they left. 10/10 would recommend again to anyone looking for any kind of HVAC needs. These guys will take care of you just like they did for us!

We purchased a Daikin 15k outdoor heat pump/15k indoor floor mount plus installation. It is VERY quiet, EVEN flow thur out the sunroom. Micheal/Forest did the complete installation. Its slow going trying to wiggle into the schedule and get parts sometimes. We waited a week in the summer heat for a system to arrive and be installed. Now were waiting in the cold for the same 4 month old system to be repaired and were told its going to be a few days.Im not completely sold on their systems anymore considering ours hasnt lasted a full year. They can be pretty pricey.The employees that Ive interacted with have all been extremely professional and polite. They are very knowledgeable. Its always a good interaction. It just seems like theres not quite enough of them.

We had the opportunity to have our 30 year old AC system fail at the peak of summer. A 100+ degrees out and the people at Bruce wasted no time sending a tech to diagnose the problem. The technician’s skill was impressive I was sure that the blower from the early 80’s would never run again. The system was 15 years past it’s prime. Impressively the tech got us going. We knew it was time to update. Ryan was a ton of help getting a system picked out. He always was quick to return our calls and answer questions throughout the process.They installed the new system quickly, professionally and had our new Lennox Heat Pump/AC Smart system running great. I would without a doubt refer Bruce Heating to anyone needing a new system or just need maintenance on an existing one.

Excellent service by Lino (forgive spelling if incorrect). He informed us that the 25 year old solenoid on our natural gas fireplace is failing and will need to be replaced. We agreed that the full disassembly required to replace the weak solenoid could wait until it fails completely because the fireplace is not our sole source of heat.His recommendation to replace the failed On/Off rocker-switch with a remote unit was a welcome improvement to our unit. No more bending to the floor level to turn the unit on and off. We simply push the on button, or we set the desired temperature range.We would welcome his expertise when needed for the next fireplace service, and for our other heating or cooling issues. Outstanding technician!

Jeremy was great and was quick with all the various bid options that we needed. We installed a split system in two of our bedrooms and we couldnt have been happier with how every part of the install (electrical/mechanical) was done as quickly as possible but still looks like it has always been there. We will be getting our main HVAC system replaced in a year or two as its over 15 years old and we will go nowhere else than Bruce Heating and Air!!!

We have an annual plan for checking the performance of our heating and air conditioning system. Bruce technicians come to our home twice each year to assess and adjust the furnace and A/C. Their service is courteous and efficient and assures that there will be no breakdowns at inconvenient times. We are very satisfied with their work.

Chase from the Kennewick came over and was very friendly and informative. He first checked everything over and figured out my thermostat was not connecting properly. He installed a new one andgave me lots of information on what was happening before he put it in.He was very helpful as I learned a lot from him and he explained everystep of the repair to me so I knew what was happening. He also showedme about the new thermostat and made sure i knew how to work it before he left. I was very happy with his service, friendliness and willingness to take the time and explain everything. These are the people my apartment decided to use when I had a failed condensate pump on a mini split and within a few hours of diagnosing the issue Greg went out and got a new pump and got it installed. He was very kind and explained things to me when I asked even though I asked a lot of questions. He also did a once over on the unit and fixed small problems that have been here since the unit was installed. Im very happy with Bruce Air and will request my management to continue working with them.

They told us we couldnt cook inside because it our house is too small, its a 210000 Sq ft house. They told me the ac is working when its 82 outside and 80 degrees inside while the thermostat is set to 70. And we have a baby! Stay away from this company.

Oct 19, 2020. We replaced the hvac unit that came with our then 5 year old house with a gas HEPA HVAC unit about 5 years ago and about 3 years ago replaced the gas hot water tank. With each unit we purchased we also bought Bruces maintenance plan. The maintenance plans are an invaluable investment! Bruce also maintenance our gas fireplace. Bruce sends out seasonal reminders to schedule maintenance services. The service department is great, its like they never have a bad day or rude caller! Our service today was to change out the HEPA filter and complete the fall furnace maintenance and flush & refill the hot water tank. The technician called to report his status and his time of arrival, which was great so we could pen up our large dogs. Our technician wore a face mask and shoe covers. He was prompt, polite and worked efficiently. It all went off without a hitch. Its a service I look forward to having. Thanks Bruce!

We had a scheduled appointment from 1-3 pm, technician didnt arrive until 6pm! I had to call the after hours line a couple of times to ask what was going on. I was not very happy because they didnt arrive on time. I understand 10-15 minutes late but a couple of hours late, without notice is not acceptable! But I ended up waiting 5 hours for someone to arrive to my house. That does not include the time it took the technician to fix the problem. However, I do have to say the on call receptionist and the technician themselves were nice/ friendly, and helpful. They fixed my furnace. I gave them 3 stars because of the waiting time, and communication. It would be nice if they call customers when running late. Also to receive a discount or have the diagnostic fee waived for all the inconvenience.

They did about 70% of our installation perfectly but totally lied about the other 30%. They said to call back for them to complete the rest. Its been 6 months. Weve called every week and gone to their office. Our only solution is to take them to small claims court, which frankly isnt worth it because it was a small job. I wish we werent stuck with this company, and I would not recommend this company. Go with someone else.

I had a horrible experience with them! I do NOT recommend them.We got a couple quotes to get central AC. We decided to go with Bruce because they were the only ones that would get it done the in the time frame we needed. They told us it would take three days to complete the job. The job ended up taking over a month, and we got screwed!Worked had started and halfway through, we were told that we needed to update our circuit breaker and that the additional cost would be $2,500. We had the option to find our own electrician or use someone through Bruce. We decided to have Bruce subcontract the work. Meanwhile we noticed a lot of water underneath our home, a pipe had been broken. I called the Sales Manager Chris Meagher and asked him if he had any idea what happened because it was right next to where they were working. All he kept saying was my house is old and all the pipes needed to be replaced. I overheard one of Bruce employees talking about the pipe that they broke.When I confronted Chris about that he said he had already had a plumber fix it, he was sure it wasnt the same problem. I contacted the same plumber; it was the same pipe and told me in front of Chris that it was a temporary fix because thats what Chris asked for. The plumber also said theyve had a lot of similar issues with Bruce and will no longer work with them.At this time, our baby was a couple months old, so we needed a cool home fast, and we put most of our savings for this. We paid them in full including the extra $2,500 for the electrician. Three days after the system was installed the electrician knocked on our door asking for his money. He was told by Chris that we would pay him and that it was not included on the contract. I contacted Chris, he rudely he tells me he will only speak to the man of the house because the house was not under my name and girls like me wouldnt understand. The house is under my name. He screamed at me over the phone, I was so frustrated I hung up and started crying. Ive never had someone belittle me or talk to me the way he did.I would NOT recommend this company to work with, they are very unprofessional and have shady practices.

I had planned on calling about my issue but hadnt gotten to it before posting this review (my phone prompted me for review)

Its a Sunday and my air conditioning went out. Called Campbell and Co. They were very professional and friendly.From the time I called them on Sunday morning and the time the tech showed up, it was only 2 and 1/2 hours.The tech was professional and thorough.I would recommend this company highly.

Had Bruce replace my water heater. Was surprised by the bill. The total price quote that matched Home Depots price did not include tax; so that was an extra ~$120. Also, they did not subtract out the charge for coming out to give me the quote, even though the person that came said it would be refunded. Be careful of the quote, ask a lot of questions, and get everything in writing. I wont be using them again.

Crooked as all get-out... They charge my credit card twice for the same visit almost $700 for a little teeny part that they can get online for 28 bucks.. and on top of that, it didnt even fix the problem. they told me it was because it comes with a warranty and they cant just sell me the part only. And if you believe that Ive got a bridge to sell you I had another company come out and do it right. Very disappointed but they didnt seem to care

I had Bruce heating and air install a brand new indoor and outdoor door unit in my house and all went well. But when my new thermostat went out they said it would cost $160 to repair. Thats after paying 7600 for the whole unit. I will not refere anybody here!

A few weeks ago, in June 2017, I was visiting Mom from out of town for three days and her relatively newly purchased condo was clearly not cooling well well with her old AC unit. Bruce Heating and Air Conditioning came in the same day I called them to see about repairing it. Unfortunately, they could not replace the ancient compressor because the machine wasnt even manufactured anymore. Even the ACs serial number was worn off due to weatherization.After the repairman left, I called Bruce right away to schedule an estimate on a new unit with a new gas furnace. Bruce met with us right away to provide an estimate on the entire system. I also called two other providers. One failed to email me a bid, which seemed unprofessional to me. The other was over the Bruce bid by a thousand.I sent Bruce Heating and Air Conditioning a payment and they got Mom on their install schedule in rapid order. In less than two weeks from my initial consult with Bruces sales person, they had installed the AC and gas furnace on the Monday before July 4th. (This is their busy season! Amazing!)I am so relieved that Mom doesnt have to sweat it anymore, not that she complained once beforehand. But now with the new unit she is so thrilled, Im glad we could do the right thing for Mom with the help of Bruce Heating and Air Conditioning.
