I use to love the staff here and now every time I come in, I’m constantly discriminated against. Viv, the sales associate, is quick to deny me discounts or coupons, when I’m a huge anime collector and always have been. She accuses me of “reselling” when I haven’t been selling pops. The staff treats every collector horribly, which is why I look forward to box lunch opening. I really hope they change because they have lost a loyal customer.

I wish I can give them negative stars. I am very frustrated with this store as they never seem to be helpful and always super rude. I came in looking for certain anime merchandise and when I asked them about certain items, some of them would look the other way and finally I would get a response after constant questions. I asked why they were treating me rudely and they wouldn’t answer me. I asked for some of their names and they told me it was Vivian and Alexa. It seems to always be an ongoing problem and I never leave with anything because of how unhelpful they always are … not sure if they are just super immature, but it seems to me that they haven’t grown out of their high school days

Absolutely wonderful staff.. With the new rules, there was a line waiting to enter the store. The staff was so kind and helpful! She actually found what I was looking for and brought it to me while I was standing in line! The wait was short and everything moved quickly. What I thought would be a difficult task, was the easiest I have had in a long time and my daughter was thrilled with the shirts.Absolutely fabulous group! Thank you.

I really love going into this Hot Topic. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They always greet me with a smile. Also returns and exchanges are easy and they can always order products they dont have in store for you.

The people that work there are so sweet and very amazing only reason I gave it at 3 is because the store company itself has changed from what it used to be. (all about what wasnt in) and now its all about what is in. Also this particular Hot Topic is extremely small and very limited belts and that was one of the things I loved buying there for my husband.

They have the best collectibles selection. The staff is super friendly. Its super small though. It would be nice to see them in a bigger spot within the mall.

Im super frustrated 😔. I was in Utah for a volleyball tournament with my teenager and we went to their local mall and to Hot Topic. This was one of the rare stores that have and sell swim suits in the store. My daughter found a swim suit she wanted. I was nervous about the size but the workers assured me that if the swim suit didn’t fit that we could return it to our local store in Washington and order a different size.Surprise surprise the bottoms didn’t fit- didn’t even get them on, so we brought them to return and place an order for the larger size. When I got to my local store they said they can’t take swim ware returns. A wasted $30! We would not have purchased in the first place if I knew we couldn’t return them- the whole reason I asked before purchasing in Utah. Super bummed for being lied to 😢

The staff are fun, helpful, and very interactive if were waiting in line to go in next. Im always looking forward to new merchandise and great deals.

They were pretty sold down on stuff. Not sure if its from sales or because most sales are being made online, or if it was the store. There was a wait which midday on a Wednesday is sad but at least it was open. Employees were nice.

I enjoy shopping here. They sell items you can hardly find anywhere else. I do wish there was a bit more room in the stores tho.

Interesting and relativity unique store. However, it is incredibly small, and almost always has a line in covid times. Additionally, its appealing to nerdy people, who tend to shop online. Ive never looked for an online store for them, but I imagine if they made one and started promoting it in stores that they would do better.

Love it love it love it but I wouldnt buy body jewelry (septum, belly button, etc) unless you know exactly what youre getting

It has been 3 years since I have been too hot topics, me living in another town, a lot has changed, within the mall and others places around town, overall really good stuff they are getting in.

I enjoy shopping there for their gages out ear plugs I just wish they had a larger selection all over especially in the .5

Small store they have so many things I like and its always so expensive but its worth it.

Great band shirts and almost always on sale. Such a selection of Funkos as well. In this pandemic they are are doing well with monitoring capacity and saying mask needs to be on mouth and nose. Also great that can only have few people as the store is always crammed to brim with items, now its not as crowded or inconvenient to move through.

This Hot Topic is just too tiny. It makes you feel very claustrophobic with all the extra racks and tables and since it is a pretty popular store it almost always has a lot of people in it. The staff is always friendly though and strikes up a conversation with you about your items and shows you other things you may like based on it. They never fail to greet me, tell me the deals, and ask if they can help me with anything and that is greatly appreciated. I just wish the company would find them a bigger store to be in.

Hot Topic used to be really cool. Please tell me what happened, remember when you guys used to sell original stuff? And used to be the store for the kids who didnt conform to anything? Now, Hot Topic is just Conformity wrapped up into one Gothic word. Thats sad, what happened? Is it for money? Probably. Sell cool stuff again.

Its a Hot Topic. They do Hot Topic things. It is always been a mecca for the goth and counter culture but I think they have survived due to counter has come more in line with the mainstream. Can be spendy but its in the mall and I expect as much. Nice variety of things in a small spot. Can be hard to move around.

Fun place. Lots of random yet fun things. Definitely will either love it or hate it.

Prices are exorbitantly expensive for what youre really getting, but maybe its a licensing thing for a lot of it?Its ridiculously hard to navigate the store as everything is so jam packed into it, making you feel pressured to never stop moving or else youre blocking the path for people. The only thing earning this place stars from me is the friendly staff and the cool merchandise. Staff are willing to go out of their way to help you.

Ive been a fan of Hot Topic for a long time. My two complaints are the prices of their clothing (you have to wait for their sales for anything to be affordable), and they rarely have any sizes above a Large in store and, since their sizes run small, this means most adult men cant wear a lot of their shirts. However, I do like the selection and how theyve moved to fill the niche for fandom products.This particular store is very small and difficult to navigate through when theres a crowd. But thats no ones fault in particular.

I love this place. I always love cutting my wrist and praying to the dark lord every night while lighting my candles in the dark and listening to heavy metal.

Employees communication to customers is HORRIBLE. They promoted their stores credit card with a decent discount on your order which is usually fine. This very young employee, probably a high schooler, didn’t tell me she was charging HALF MY ORDER to the store card and half to my debit. This became a huge problem as interest fees started stacking up without my attention and ended up being sent to collections without any of my knowledge as the credit card application did not include my phone number. Only after being contacted by a collection agency did I discover this headache. Reached out to hot topic and they didn’t have any way to fix their mistake or offer to help.

We like to hit these shops whenever we get time, love most of the merchandise. We always get a few funny items.

I love hot topic and their selections. This trip was short and I didnt get a lot of time to look. There was only one person working and it took a long time to check out but thats not usually the case.

I was looking at a couple of shirts it took me a while but I finally found one in my size. decided not to get it because as I looked I could see they werent very good quality. I walked a bit more to see if there was anything else of interest when I was told i needed to leave I asked why and they said I was looking a shirt for to long and acting strange ???Anyways I wouldnt go again because the employees were rude, bad lighting and very cramped. A little expensive for the quality.

Pretty cool and chill place

Ive been going to this Hot Topic for years. Still my local hub for merch from the fandoms I take part in. The place can get a little crowded when there are a lot of shoppers out.
