This was the second chip repair Ive had done here. I called my insurance companys chip repair number and after answering a few questions they set me up with an appointment that morning. The person I dealt with was very pleasant and my vehicle was being worked on shortly after I arrived. The repair took as long as I was told and looks good.

Seven missing clips and window trim piece was not installed correctly. Found this out when I was investigating why my winshield washers werent working. The hose was being pinched by the hood shock. Inside the car vehicle was left dirty after the work was performed, it was spotless when it left my hands. I hope this window doesnt leak. I didnt take it apart to inspect the hidden work done. Not to mention that the location was almost 60 miles from my home. Check the work done before leaving.

To start, they repaired by missing rear glass hatch style. I had issues with latching the next day. I reached out to let them know. They stood by their warranty and workmanship and made it right. Im very impressed and happy.

I like satellite for convenience. But, I am not really satisfied with what they did with my windshield. I had the tiniest little divet from a rock off of a semi truck. (Yes, I called the trucking company. No, I did not get a human. Yes, I left a detailed voice mail. No, I did not get a return call.) I wanted it fixed so that it would not expand. Safelite did it but they did it in such a way that there was a bubble where they did it. Well, the little bubble of satellites repair filler (idk the name of the stuff) is gone and the result is that now the divet is turning into a radial crack. Somewhat like a 🌅 sunrise. But, because they tried it once they now say they can not do anything to it ever again. I dont understand how service to prevent a thing turns into the reason why I cant have any service to prevent that thing and also seems to be partially responsible for why that thing is now happening. Seems like there out to be a law. Lol

Excellent service from Safeties AutoGlass. My Subaru developed a crack that was beginning to spread. They were quick and efficient with the windshield and the recalibration for the Eyesight system. This was scheduled with assistance from Allstate insurance. I arrived earlier then my scheduled time and they were able to start immediately. I am very pleased with their service and do recommend them.

The back windshield of our Chevy Cruze was knocked out by a street light in Kenosha a few months back. We finally called to schedule an appointment for the Kenosha location to come to our home today to repair the windshield in our driveway. We got a call from them around 9 am before our 10 am appointment and was told the original technician was not available but they would like to pick up our vehicle, repair the glass, and return our vehicle. We received our vehicle back within 1.5 hours. The service was excellent, they went out of their way to not have to reschedule our appointment, and they even cleaned the inside of the vehicle! Its my husbands work car so he doesnt exactly keep it very clean.The customer service, the repair was done perfectly, and we were not inconvenienced in the slightest way. They kept us updated every step of the way, also.Second time Ive used their services and couldnt be happier!! I would definitely highly recommend Safelite to all of my family and friends!

I was heading east on highway 50 at about 4:10 pm this evening. Your driver decided to pull out onto highway 50 from the Ford dealership and sit across two lanes of traffic. I had to slam on my brakes. And the guy finally moved. I’m not sure what he was thinking but you guys need to watch your drivers.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. Was promised 2 discounts the first time I called. When I received the confirmation email the price didnt match what was promised. I called back a second time, he said hed listen to the call and adjust the price, that didnt happen. I was told my apt was at 8 and itd be done by 10...1:00 I called and they said they were too busy to call but the work was done. During that call I mentioned the price again. She assured me that itd be adjusted to what I was promised, and AGAIN that didnt happen. Two days later I filled out the survey they sent and chose YES to be contacted regarding my experience and NOBODY EVER contacted me! I am BEYOND dissatisfied. I was a return customer, but will never, ever, ever be again!

I have been trying to get the windshield and back glass installed on my 64 Impala for over a month now. I have all the parts needed for the install except the glass. Safelite can’t order the back glass but can install it, so I order the back glass and get the windshield from Safelite. An appointment was made and the mechanic and myself took off work for the install. Only to get a call saying the window has a scratch on it and the appointment was canceled and a new windshield is on order. Several phone calls trying to get info happen but I was hung up on or told somebody would call me back with no call back for almost 3 weeks. Finally after the 6-7th phone call the windshield is on the way to the shop and somebody will call me to set up and appointment, no call back again. I call and was told the windshield arrived at the shop but nobody called me. So now we set up and appointment, again, with a 5 hour window. So again my mechanic and myself take of work again for the install. The technician shows up, looks at the car for about 30 seconds, calls his boss and says “I don’t know how to do this”. The tech has never done an install like this before. After talking to the tech at the house he tells me his manager Ed will call me tomorrow and he also gave me Ed’s number. I will give credit to the tech for being honest and not messing up my freshly painted show car by trying to do the install. Ed on the other hand never called me back, not surprised. I called him and he tells me all the techs in the shop have never done an install like this and Ed himself will have to come out to look at the car personally to see if they can even do the install. Ed requested my mechanic’s info to set something up so I passed it along and let my mechanic know. Guess what, Ed never called, figures. So now my show car sits in the garage waiting for windows and we can no longer move forward on my car. Several phone calls that didn’t help at all, hung up on once, told I would be called back with no call back, one scratched window, one tech who doesn’t know what he was doing (but was honest about it), Ed who doesn’t know how to use a phone, a windshield shop that doesn’t know how to install my windshield, 4 days off work between 2 people, and no windows installed my car. Very, very, very disappointed and will be looking around to try to get somebody else to do the job. Maybe I will call Safelite to let them know I don’t need them anymore, or maybe I will do like they do and just blow them off.

(Update) My window repair failed and caused my windshield to crack. I was going to use their guarantee to have the chip refilled but it didnt make it through the winter. Now I have to go through my insurance to have it replaced. (Original Review) They did an excellent job on my window. Because it was a bad chip you could still see it, but I expected that to a degree. The people seem alright, and they definitely got the job done fast and right. Luckily it was in a spot out of the way. I would definitely use them again.

Complaint: Kenosha store poor work and possible scam. Went to this store and have gone several times in the past. Just purchased a new vehicle and received an approximately 2 mm chip. Geico provided this as an option. After the repair I drove away and within 15 min an inch and half long crack developed. When I returned for a resolution I was told this is normal and the only way to fix it is to replace the windshield. Replace windshield after a 2 mm chip?!? This is either a ploy to replace windshield and have my insurance pay for it or a cover up for poor workmanship. REFUSE to let Ed (refused to provide last name) the manager touch your car. He was not helpful and said that if he tried to fix it he would damage it more. I am extremely apalled by the treatment I received, poor workmanship and possible scam to get a new windshield. I now have to have a certified dealer do repairs and pay for it. STAY AWAY!! Go anywhere else.
