Hometown has become our weekly stop for fresh meat and even treats for our dog. The prices are great and selection even better you have to try there stuffed chicken breasts they make the perfect meal.

Chicken, ribs, steak, kabobs, Italian sausage, pork chops, brats, hamburgers, many different jerky meats, pasta salad, chicken salad, broccoli salad, etc. Daily specials too. You may pay more however, the quality is exceptional. They do catering too.

Great local spot going against the corporate monopoly. Quality products, clean and friendly atmosphere. Its slightly more expensive but worth every penny. Support local businesses.

We had our Wedding Catered Saturday! It ended up being a bit larger than originally planned!! However Sue nailed it!!! She was so sweet and accommodating to our every need!!! EXCEPTIONAL food!!! Had some fresh fish smoked there and I know now why the cost was only $3.00 a pound. Terrible.. I would say it was cured in salt and there is no hint of a smoky taste. The Boathouse wanted $16.00 a pound I guess I should have gone for quality.

Ribs were pretty good but way overpriced for the hype I was given on the phone. Also the women helping me was horrible at customer service.

Usually pick up some brats and something new to try. Parmesan crusted chicken was a huge hit with everyone.

I cant say enough good things about Hometown Meats and Deli! They catered our picnic reception this summer (2016) and did a FABULOUS job! We worked with Sue to order all of our menu items for the event and she was wonderful - very professional and prompt in addressing our questions and sending out invoices. She helped us select a wide variety of food and was able to guide us in deciding how much of each item to order. We ordered a Pig Roast for 100 guests (dressing and rolls), Italian Marinated Chicken, Mac N Cheese, Mostaccioli, Italian Pasta Salad, Coleslaw, and the Broccoli/Cauliflower Salad - all of which were phenomenal! Our guests raved about the food the whole afternoon. Bill and another young man came to the event to carve the pig and set up the food. They did all of this with NO help from us - which allowed us to socialize with our guests rather than fret about the food! They moved tables where they needed them and even put out extra plates/napkins/silverware when we ran low. All of this, again, was done without even being requested! The amount of food that Sue suggested we order was also perfect - we had just enough leftover to enjoy a few meals during the next week. Overall, this was THE BEST experience that we have ever had with a catering company and we will definitely be using them in the future! If youre looking for a catering company that offers delicious food, is budget-friendly and low stress, then youve found the place! Thank you Hometown Meats for a lovely experience!

We wanted something different this year for Thanksgiving. We ordered their 10lb smoked turkey. It was AWESOME!! Maybe the 1st time we didnt have left over turkey. Also, I cant stop in without buying some of their delicious BBQ beef jerky.

Exceptional Food and Service, and the pricing is super-reasonable!We needed catering for an event in Kenosha, Wisconsin but we live in Kansas City, MO; not being physically there was a real concern since we couldnt visit the potential caterers in advance of the event. We had heard from a few folks in Kenosha that knew the owner, Chris, and said Hometown Meats does a really good job. So I made the called.After speaking with Chris, and discussing things with my Wife, we felt Hometown Meats was the right choice. Chris went above and beyond the call of simply preparing and delivering food. We needed linens a service they dont normally provide, and some other things. Well, Chris said thats no problem and he was on point for anything we asked for.We arrived the day before the event so there was no time should anything go wrong and truthfully, we were nervous. It was perfect! Our guests loved the food (as did we) and Chris personally came to the event to ensure everything was as it should be. I cant thank them enough for their hard work and for playing a key role in the success of our gathering.Thanks Chris, to you, your staff, and for all you did for us!
