This Hong Kong market items are average higher price than other Asian market in Kent. We started to notice it after 10 min in the store. Customer services almost none.We normally go to 99Ranch market but they dont have the item we were looking for. We decided to go to this Hong Kong market to give it a try.For the item we buying they have raised the price & forgot to change the listed price tag and still trying to sell at the already raised price.We bought 6 of those Vegetarian XO source at $3.89 each but the cashier shows $6.19 each. At that moment my wife wasnt paying attention on the receipt until I asked her about the total. Weve noticed the price difference and immediately went back inside talked to the not busy young male cashier.After I told him weve been over charged, the guy was looking at the receipt for almost 10 min without even bother to go to check the listed price to find out, no apology just told us to go get a refund. I said you have to change your price after youve raised it or youre going to sell at the original price then go change it. That young man didnt say a word.He referred me to talk to another older female cashier ( may be she is in charge ) So we did but the older cashier kept saying the one we got is a better one that is why it cost more. I know there is no such a thing as better one. There is only one cause we have been buying it all these years so we know. I insisted her to go take a look on the price tag shelve. After she looked at it still trying to say we got a better one.I said if we got the so called better one then the bar code would have been different, I said just look at the bar code it is the same. She removed the tag and go back to the cashier tilt & scanned it. Finally she was willing to pay me back the difference but her facial expression was not happy at all and again, No Apology. If you guys go there for groceries shopping CHECK THE PRICE THOROUGHLY!

Was great now way to over price... food and veggies quality aint so great also...But they do have much things you can find at south Seattle stores... so if prices and quality aint a problem go go. I mean there aint much places to go to around. 999 ranch,Vietnam store on 104th or Saars kind of behind KFC on 104th in kent wa. Saars is where I rather go it has Mexican and Asian types of food and rice too!!!.3 Stars just bc they have things you need.

Got what you need for asian food. Veggies not so fresh at time as goes for meat and seafood stuff.When it first open and for about 2 yrd price was great compared to everywhere els around.Not like Seattle though...No days price is just way way way to much... cheap fish sauce, soy sauce and hot sauce ect. Is just over price as of everything in the store now... case of Heineken lmSo... ya buy somewhere els... but they know you need it you need it... so your gonna pay or go somewhere else. ..As for me I do go somewhere else for much my things. Like others, the produce and meat is not fresh and prices are relatively higher than the other local Asian markets. Parking small and dirty. There is no customer service here. I have been here twice and will not be coming back.

Before I buy this cooker I ask them twice, if I want to exchange or return it for reason of size would you guys exchange or return it, because it’s almost 100$, they say yah yah we will, I just brought it back with receipt to exchange or return. Thy say no no no, covid 19, but yesterday when I was buying there was no covid 19, when they telling me yes yes we will return it.Also I am requesting the management to ask that glasses guy how to talk with customer, also need to focus on his behavior.Any way my last time to ur store.Thanks

Best place in South King County for Asian groceries. Does get very busy during weekends but there is street parking nearby.

Smell your meat packages. Bought chicken hearts, over 5 days from expiring, got them home and each and every one of them smell bad. Had to toss them. I also had to go to another market for the rest of my meat needs because theirs looked awful despite not being near expiring.

Old school style market that I grew up with in the (PC) Seattle ID aka Chinatown. I liked shopping here very much!Possmei Boba tapioca pearls, raw peanuts and Sunflower jasmine tea!

In My Opinion:This store deserves a NEGETIVE 5 stars and should be shut down before someone dies!!!Although I am being reminded by google that I was here. I didnt leave a review prior to now because I decided to leave empty handed.Aside from the staff having a major disregard for social distancing. They apparently have ZERO regard for their customers health and/or life as well!!The meat department has a pull a number type of customer service prioritizing system.There were about 6-8 customers that were all standing shoulder to shoulder as if there were no concerns in the world. So instead of pulling a number I decided to see what was available in the cooler area where there were no other people at that time.An employee came out of nowhere and began to pick up a large black cover off of the floor and placing the cover over the entire length of the meat that I was looking at. He wedged himself in between me and the meat counter forcing me to step back even though I was clearly attempting to select a package of meat.Blown away from the disrespectful actions I stood there and began to watch as the butcher behind the counter used a bloody towel to wipe off his knife before cutting the next chunk of meat. I was traumatized as I watched him remove chicken from his workstation and nonchalantly throw a chunk of pork on the same surface without sanitizing his surface in-between.Call me crazy, but at this point I felt compelled to call to the health department.In short, I do not recommend visiting this store!!!!

If their was an option for zero star I would rate it zero. It was my first time coming to this location and when I walk in. It smells really bad and the condition of the inside store is bad. Floors are dirty and shelves and seafood area especially where they frying stuff the area wall is black. I am surprised the food and city inspection has not shut this place down. This place need to be remodeled or deep cleaned. The Hong Kong in federal way location is way cleaner and doesn’t smell compare to this location.

This place is great all around. There isnt a fish smell common to many Asian markets and the fish is very fresh and at a great price.The meat section is massive. You should be able to find what you want from whole duck, to pig skin, to New York steak for a great price.The only problem I have with this place is that its so popular that parking is hard to find. The only reason I have taken a star. Still definitely worth going.

Those oysters are as big or bigger than a fist. Perfect for grilling. And at$40 for 5doz? Cant beat it

They have a deli for Chinese style bbq meats, you can order an entire roast pig, they also have live seafood (crab, lobster, clams and oysters), good selection of meats (poultry, pork beef). Fast lines and efficient. They also had a liquor cabinet with some premium selection. Nice that they have a public restroom available. Minus 1 star for the parking lot - could use some clean up ie. Tossed masks, random plastic packaging, etc. Definitely a quick in and out stop.

I dont like spending $70.00 for stale burned grease fish. Very embarrassedtrying to share for a delivery to a non profit house. And today well have look.

An excellent Asian grocer in Kent. Its one of my go-to places to find ingredients for dishes I enjoyed overseas. This store also offers a large fish selection where you can find fresh fish not found in conventional grocery stores. They also have a roaster for fresh roast meat.

Its ok a little smaller than the other markets they own. Early in the morning theyre pretty chill not a of people and the cooked ducks are at their freshes

Cant really say anything about this place because I have never shopped here,I jus happen to be near by and Google assumes Ive been here,But I hear they have some of the best food in their deli department

Very crowded as you would expect at your local Asian market but I find it hilarious how Spanish music is played through out store. Oh and stop for a Vietnamese sandwich. It’s usually 3.75 but it’s a good size very delicious sandwich. Also food choices would not disappoint it’s so yummy

They have a lot of fish and other seafood there and will cook it for you and its good. The parking lot is always kinda full and lots of garbage around.

Not often someone speaks fluent English. But most of everything is self explanatory. Its a small store with many varieties. It has a hot deli with 10 options to choose from. The have a full size pig for $279 and roasted duck. The sell their hot plates per box. Large box is $9.89 and small is $6.59 including tax. The have sandwiches and bubble tea. All is delicious. They also sell pho bowls, pots, lunch boxes, chop sticks and many different kitchen utensils. There is a fresh sea food and butcher section. Hope this helps.

Have a great selection of fish. Just make sure you ask for the right fish. Was looking for sea bass they gave me something else.

I love this store. It always has everything I need. Fresh vegetables and fruits. I love the fresh tilapia they clean it for you and the offer deep fry at the store when purchasing the tilapia fresh.

Being the only Asian market in downtown Kent, the market is almost always crowded. Parking can sometimes be a challenge because of that. There is a very good selection on the shelves including some American items. They also have a full service of fresh (whole!) fish/seafood counter, and they also have fresh poultry items. Prices are very reasonable compared to regular grocery stores. I also like that it has a well stocked section of kitchen wares such as butane stoves, rice cookers, pots, pans, woks, bowls, chopsticks etc etc..There is a small deli with several hot items selection in a buffet style steam table by the produce sections that you can get a quick lunch or dinner. They also have a roast meats such as whole roast duck or pig counter next to it. The 3 stars is because the small parking lot is always messy with trash everywhere. Food items are sometimes stacked in boxes directly on the floor which is unsanitary. The cafe only got an okay for food safety inspection.

Lots of great stuff, huge selection, nice produce section with fresh vegetables. They have an extensive fresh fish section too. All the ingredients you could ever need for an amazing dinner. Ill be back as many times as I can whenever Im in the area, they have good prices too. Lines seem to move pretty fast too, so thats a bonus.

Store is nice and has hard to get products but a little bit dismayed from my last purchase. Just purchased a pack of ground pork and it is filled with shards of bone. Its a bit upsetting after doing all that cooking to bite down on hard shards of bone in your meal. Thats not very safe.

The only place in town I can get the shumai I like.

Finding parking is a disaster, no matter what time you go.

Always helpful and friendly staff. My favorite is their deep frying fresh fish on the spot! You pick, theyll cook!... In 10-15 minutes you will be on your way.
